They worked efficiently and finished the job earlier than expected. When I went in to inspect the demolition, I was pleased to see how neatly they did the job. They were careful not to damage the abutting walls and cleanly disconnected the plumbing. This will make it easier when the remodeling takes place. First day excavating dirt (hours of careful work) ,prepping area for the cement slab ( more hours of work) and jackhammer work to remove old, damaged driveway Apron and prepping for cement. 2nd day crew arrives an hour before the cement truck arrives to review cement pour and traffic control ( street is narrow). Setting up cones on the road and personally directing traffic, Samson made sure the local traffic was safe during the 1 hour presence of the cement truck. I waited, a day passed, I asked, they said it was coming, and got nothing. A few days passed, still nothing. Then a week and a half passed and still nothing. I even made it easy for them and told them they could just give me an estimate on the message board, still nothing. I finally called after 2 weeks, and asked if they were still interested in doing the job. I was perfectly fine if they turned me down, but they said they would send it that evening. I even re-messaged them my email, and still nothing! If they didn't want the job, they could have just told me and thay would have been the end of it! Totally bad business practice. If they gave you a quote, consider yourself lucky! Update: I added a star because they did eventually give me a quote, but it was too late, I had already found someone to do the job. I wish I could have seen what they could have done.

The area next to the steps and along the front of the house needed a retaining wall to hold the soil and clean up the slope. Their crew came out, walked the space with me, and explained how they would build the wall and shape the curve so it would look natural with the yard and the house. They also talked about the base and drainage so it would hold up long-term. The work itself was done efficiently and the crew was easy to work with. They prepped the base, set the blocks carefully, and made sure the curve of the wall flowed nicely along the front of the yard instead of just building a straight line. They kept the job site pretty clean and checked in along the way to make sure everything looked right. The finished wall looks great and really improves the front of the house. It's solid, level, and the curve gives the landscaping a much cleaner look than what was there before. Overall, a very positive experience.
