This was our first experience with a groomer, and a first for our puppy, a labradoodle, going to a groomer. This place was on our vet's recommendation list, so we went with it. And we are glad we did. I was able to get an appointment the same week I called, which was a surprise, but a happy one! They told us that as Bentley's first experience, he would not be clipped, which was fine with us. They did the basics for the first visit, nails, ears, and bath. As hard as it was to leave him, we were very happy with his nails, his fluffiness, and he smelled so nice! They had a price list posted, but it was mostly how they welcomed our new puppy (and us) into their business. We will be back in a few weeks to keep up with the nails for sure! DONT GO TO THIS PLACE!!!!!!! Took my dog for a trim and he got cut in his stomach by the girl trimming him. Girl brought him out bandaged saying she couldn't stop the bleeding that I would have to take him to vet and that they would pay the bill He bled all over my car! Cost me $135 to have blood removed!!, After two vet appointments and another to have staples (vet is a friend if mine snd only charged $169) removed the owner refused to pay the bills! I had a long argument with her and she paid only the vet bill. I got stuck with the $135!! I will never ever go there again! The owner is not a nice person at all! She said that when I first took the dog there I signed a release stating that if anything happens they are not responsible! They still should do what is right!!! read more

We had been going to the location in Hope for years and was always very happy with the service. When that location shut down we moved to the W. Warwick location. The last time we went they kept Elvis there for 5 - 6 hours. They told me Saturdays were always busy and to try another day. So when I called, I told them any Mon, Wed, Fri, or Sat. They booked me for today (a Friday). I dropped Elvis off at 11:00. At 6:00 (an hour AFTER they closed), I called to check in and she told me that she just realized my dog was here and was just starting him. SEVEN hours later, an hour after you closed, you just realized my dog was there?? After I got there to pick him up, he ran out of the crate and immediately peed all over the floor. He never pees on the floor. I have also never seen so much pee in all my life. He clearly had not been let out of the crate all day. The Manager who kept just telling me she was new (CLEARLY) told me she was still going to charge me full price because "they completed the service." Whereas she could have somewhat salvaged the situation by comping FIFTY THREE DOLLARS, she decided to pour salt in the wound... over FIFTY THREE DOLLARS, the equivalent of a half of a tank of gas. When we got home, Elvis ran into the house and right to his water bowl. He drank his the entire bowl and then some. Which again, he never does. He was clearly ALONE IN A CRATE FORGOTTEN FOR SEVEN HOURS. Some dogs may be used to that, but Elvis is an older dog and I work from home, so he's not. I called the Owner, and low and behold, no call back. Moral of the story: This place borders on animal abuse. If you read the more recent reviews you can see that the new Owner has ruined it. People are continually saying that their dogs are fearful to go back. If you Google "pet grooming near me" you get pages of places in Coventry, West Warwick, Warwick... Go somewhere else. Putting this place out of business is doing a service to all our four legged friends. read more

This groomer is terrible. They changed hands unbeknownst to us. Our dog was terrified to get out of car. Didn't understand as he always liked it there. Big red flag. Found out later about new owners and staff that weren't really dog groomers. They shaved his balls!!! Who does that. Never again! Stay away. Demand credentials from the staff if you go and expect your dog to be groomed within 2 hours, which is the norm. Not 6. Found a new groomer. read more

We took Tegan, our terribly matted Australian Labradoodle into see Jamie at All Tails yesterday. He looked like a totally different dog when we picked him up. He was very evenly shaved all over...even his ears. His formerly long, thick furred ears were prone to becoming infected. We love his new look and now we can start over grooming his coat correct thanks to Jaime's instruction. We have never had a dog with a high maintenance coat and I was basically just brushing to top of his coat leaving the tangles behind. I have the correct brush and comb now and I hope to do better for him from now on. If you have a high maintenance pet, All Tails Are Wagging is the place to go....and I would ask for Jamie if I were you! read more

I am one of those people who is obsessed with her dog and I wish I could buy extra stars to give this business. My 8 year old dog has been to a total of 6 different grooming salons in his life and I am beyond thrilled with this one! I am so angry I did not try it sooner! I brought Zedd in because he had gotten into a vine covered in fuzzy seed pods and was matted before he even got in the house! I was going to take him to petsmart like I have been for the past few years but with all the pet deaths and injury in the news I was too anxious. While the price and groomers at those locations are great they take in so many dogs at once that I am afraid they will forget him or move too fast through his cut. I tried All Tails Are Wagging based on a facebook recommendation post and was able to get in surprisingly fast. I dropped Zedd off at 9 am and the place was NOT filled with barking crying dogs so my dog was only slightly nervous. He was ready in half the time that it takes at the big groomers and he. looks. amazing! Melissa did not judge me for his mattes (it does happen sometimes) and was super polite to me. She handled Zedd delicately when she took him from me and was more than happy to shave him down for me. She explained all the parts of the service and what is included, even offering to add the teeth brushing service. I picked him up and she explained that his front legs were sensitive (I've had him groomed for 8 years and never knew this was why his front legs always look weird. She groomed the immaculately despite this and his hair is even all over his body. His paws are the cleanest I have ever seen them, his tail is so nice and groomed and I am beyond thrilled with how he turned out! I wish I had friends looking for a groomer so I could recommend all tails are wagging. Not only did she do an INCREDIBLE job but the price was half of what I have paid at groomers that cannot even compare to all tails. read more

I found this groomer online and was pretty nervous about a new groomer. I have been taking my 25lb Norwegian Forest cat to the same groomer for 8 years but they started charging random prices, sometimes double what i would normally pay for no reason. The experience has been great, they do such a wonderful job for a very fair price. You can really tell they love animals, and love what they do. I was looking for a pet grooming place in the area 1st I went to Pup salon on main street but when I walked in it was smelly not welcoming and werid.so further down the street I found Wet Dogz the place is sooo cute cleaned organized , also has a little doggy bakery with cute looking treats that my 2 min Pens like. Nobody's tails were wagging after this experience. My family and I have been taking our dogs here for 10 years. We began to notice a change in employees and groomers recently and over the last 6 months, we have endured absolutely terrible service. My overly friendly fur baby, who usually prances right on in, fights to step into the door and then runs to leave while in there; concerning. Next, our dogs are here for 5+ hours at a time!! This most recent time, I called after 3 hours and asked the status of my pup, they said "she is being blow dried" then I called one hour later and they said "she is drying in her cage and then is up next" Up next for what??? To be blow dried! I ended up leaving my house saying I don't care if she is wet, I'll take her anyways. Then, when I get there (30 minutes later) they said "she is being blow dried and needs to be trimmed." I mean I honestly can't wrap my head around this. I'm currently sitting in my car at 6pm when I dropped her off at 12:45pm, still waiting. At first, I tried to give these people the benefit of the doubt and it wouldn't be a big deal if it happened once, I get it everyone gets busy, but this is the past 3 times and with multiple different customers. Oh, and there are no bandanas given out anymore to our fur babies at the end of their long stay either, yet our price is the same?? Needless to say, we will be finding a different groomer. Loved this place! I have a Lhasa Apso with severe allergy issues which makes for a very nervous mommy (me). I called them, explained my concerns and they basically squeezed her in the same day! Very clean, staff was very personable and Dawn did a superb job on her. Liv generally gets extremely stressed and can't eat for a day or two after going to groomer. This time she greeted me at their gate, came home and ate her dinner. No issues/stress. We were both very pleased! read more

We have two dogs that needed a hair cut or summer shave down. I saw a Groupon that was basically buy 1 get 1 free so I decided to give them a try. I called pryer to dropping them off and left a message and within minutes I was called back. We dropped them off on a Saturday at 12 and was told that they would be ready at 5. At about 4;45 we got a call that they were ready to be picked up. My wife picked them up and right away was very happy with how the dogs looked. Not only did they look good they also smelled good!!! Stopped coming to this pit of despair after I walked into the place to pick up my dog only to hear a groomer screaming at another dog on the top of her lungs in the back while the place reeked of pot. The smell was so strong I could smell it from the outside of the building while I was still in my car. The aforementioned groomer was screaming at the dog because it was squirming and yelping while she was trying to groom it. No doubt the poor thing was trying to get away from her banshee screeching. I even heard the sound of a nice hard slap after she got done screaming at it. She then flew into the front all dramatically yelling at another worker to call this dog's owner to come pick him up because she couldn't be bothered to continue with the grooming. The worker whom I was speaking with about my dog then happily told me with a snotty smirk on her gremlin looking face that this was the groomer who groomed my dog. My dog was so irritable when we got home that she attacked my other dog which she had never done before and had horrible diarrhea the rest of the day which usually happens when she's nervous. I suspect the groomer that hit and yelled at the other dog probably did so to my dog because as I previously mentioned they, unfortunately, had the same "groomer". I even paid to have all these extras done like having her teeth and ears cleaned, nails cut, hair removed from the inside of her ears, and anal glands squeezed but when I got her home her nails where still getting stuck in the carpet, her teeth weren't cleaned, her ears were still dirty and still had the hair inside of them, and her vet had to squeeze her anal glands during her checkup that week because they clearly couldn't have been bothered to do so but they still had the audacity to charge me full price. They definitely went down hill after they changed location and the only kind and caring groomer they had was smart enough to quit! No wonder she hauled ass after having to deal with working with these "people". read more

The turnover rate of groomers is exceedingly common. A new groomer will just shave your dog down to the skin because it is easier. I have been going there for some time and each dog has a card with instructions on the cut. Disappointed recently with the change in groomers and the way they just chose to groom your dog. I have been having her groomed with this business for 16 years so I am a long term customer not a new recent transient customer as implied in the owner's response! I have been going here for the past year or more and Melissa was always so good with my doodle. Recently I noticed a lot of new staff, the last time my dog was groomed they didn't touch his ears at all and they were very long. I also noticed he kept sitting down a lot when we got him home and he was nixed a few times and had some scabs. I understand if he is moving on the table that may happen but it was quite a few spots and I never had this happen before. He was groomed today and once again his ears were not cut at all. But the most upsetting thing was I could hear a woman in the back getting frustrated and being very vocal about it. My dog was in the back and I could hear him barking as well as another dog. And I could hear this woman saying "enough! Just stop already!" And then they were taking my dog out to bring him to me I could hear "not that way! enough!" Being that vocal and yelling at dogs is not ok. I can understand being frustrated but for customers to hear you yelling, that's not good for business. I noticed another review on here mentioning a woman yelling as well. My dog will no longer go here as I cannot trust if this woman is taking out frustrations on the dogs. read more

SO the kitties had to get a flea dip today, Levi has never in three year had fleas and Oliver had a vet visit June 14th and no fleas. Well on July24th I took Levi to the groomer to get his matting out and nails trimmed. (Side note, I called for an appointment three days prior and when I got there they never wrote him in the appointment book but did take him.) About a couples weeks later (because I had gone camping and then annual training) I noticed them scratching A LOT, so yup fleas. The only way they could have gotten them was from the groomer, who admitted to me they had to bomb it the night before. I had given them both treatment about a week and a half ago (sentry) sucks don't use it. This morning I called the groomer just to make them aware of this situation , the woman I talked with was very apologetic and offered a free flea dip, and I told her well both cats have them, she said bring them both. Great! I dropped them off and they were very friendly, I get a call about 20 min later from the woman telling me the kitten was loaded with flea dirt, well yeah he's tiny! But she was insinuating that the kitten is the cause of the fleas and not the shop. BS!!! Tells me I need to pay for Oliver's treatment (the kitten) really??? Well although there're friendly and all I will not be taking my cats here again. *** it's been a week and the flea dip didn't work either**** read more

I went to this groomer today at 10:00 a.m. to get my extremely matted Persian cat I just got returned from my ex-husband shaved to the lions cut. I took her out of the crate so they could examine her and quote me a price. They quoted me $45 instead of the normal $35 due to the matting, I agreed to the price. Then 3 hours later they called me and said they were half done and it would be another 3 hours of work. The new quote was $85, double what I was quoted in the morning. My only choice was to pick up a half shaved cat without a bath or pay the $85. I feel this is an outrageous way to do business. I knew she was matted, they knew she was matted and my price was doubled. I can't believe they spent 5 1/2 hours to shave and bath a cat. Her ears were not cleaned, she has a cut in her back leg. I took my 3 month old American Bulldog to Wet Dogz today for the first time. I would say the experience far exceeded my expectations. Making the appointment was a breeze as you can text to get appointment times available. I was immediately greeted once I walked in and my dog seemed very happy right away. They have a nice area where your animal can play or relax before and after their appointment. The salon is extremely clean and smells very nice. They have a cute bakery with special treats for your pet including birthday cakes. The service was excellent, timely, and affordable. My pup came out looking great and very happy! I found The Wet Dogz in passing driving down Washington Street on my way home. I was curious about their pricing and was surprised to find lists of prices on their website. The prices seem pretty fair to the market so I decided to try them out by taking my Labrador for a nail grinding. They staff was friendly and courteous. They took us as a walk-in and took care of my dog immediately. They did a great job and I was pleased with the service. Upon finishing, I was charged $2 over the listed price and I am still not sure why. Even with the extra $2 it was still cheaper than anyone else in town, and I considered it their tip :) read more
