Thank you Adam and Natalie for completely transforming our yard! Not only is our yard beautiful but it is also toddler friendly! All Terrain really listened to our needs of the backyard and created a great space for our family to enjoy for years to come!

We used Alll Terrain Landscape to do a major backyard project... We removed all of our lime stone and replaced it with travertine. We are on a half an acre and we did our patio, all of our walkways, all around our pool, a border around the grass area, as well as a picnic area. It was a huge project... Cost over $30,000. Initially the project went well. The best thing I can say about the project was the designer... She was super easy to work with, she listened, she checked into the project to make sure it was going smoothly. However, during the "process, before we ever even started the project, we were very clear with them that we had two issues that we needed them to work with us on. First, we do Animal Rescue so at the time we had eight dogs so we needed to make sure that we had access to the backyard for as long as possible so they could go outside to go to the bathroom. We also we're going out of town the weekend after the project started. We made it very clear that the dogs needed to have access to the backyard which meant that they needed at least a small part of the back patio so they could go out the dog door and we would fence off the rest of the area. It came to the time when we were going out of town and right before we left, they laid the travertine right up to the back door but it had not been grouted and could not be walked on. We called to express our frustration that we could not have been any more clear that we needed to have access to the patio for the dogs to get outside when we went out of town that weekend. They seemed completely unconcerned. The next issue was that on a Friday afternoon, they left all of their trash all over our front yard, left for the day, and were not planning on being back until the following Tuesday as that Monday was a holiday. I'm not talking construction materials... I'm talking about actual trash all over our front yard. I called them from the airport just before I was getting on the plane very upset about this telling them that they could not leave that mess all over our front yard, we have neighbors and we live in an HOA. Our project manager Adam refused to call me back and instead called my husband because Adam felt that I was too upset. Talk about sexist and disrespectful! That was in February. The project ended and we pointed out multiple areas where they they left their pencil marks that they used to mark cuts in multiple places all over the tile. We were told that was normal and the sun would just bleach that out... What?!?! You don't lay tile that has pencil marks all over it and if you do then you need to remove the pencil marks. The next issue was multiple large areas that they did not grout. They sent someone out to re-grout but still we had major areas that weren't grouted. They sent someone else out to re-grout again but still we have many areas without grout. They also spilled so much construction material into our pool. We had large piles of mortar that turned into cement all over the sides and bottom of our pool. I told Adam about this and he said our pool guy would just be able to brush this down. Nope, it was like cement. Our pool guy tried several times but couldn't get it off. So, I waited until the pool warmed up enough for me to actually get in the pool and again, this stuff was like cement, it could not be removed. I stopped calling Adam about this issue because he repeatedly blew me off and went directly to a supervisor at the office who finally sent someone out to clean it up. We had to drain our entire pool in order to get all this stuff off the bottom of the pool. So frustrating! Fast forward to now... Six months later and we still have many, many areas that have no grout. We have multiple areas that have grass and weeds that grow up through the tile because there should be polymer grout in the seams to prevent this from happening. We have cracked tiles. They made a cover for our pool basket but the cover sits up so high above the actual lid that covers the hole where the skimmer basket is that a child stepped on it and it broke in half from the weight. I called them on Monday to address these issues and I was told someone would come out on Thursday. It got to be mid day on Thursday and I didn't hear from anyone so I called the office and was told that they had talked to the project manager who said that they were going to wait until "sometime later in October" to come out and check these issues because it was "too hot". I kid you not... A landscaping company in the Phoenix area said that they would not come out and look at our issues because It's "too hot". It's in the low 100s upper 90s this week and next... What about that is too hot to come out and take a look at these issues? We paid over $30,000 for this backyard and the customer service has been ridiculous. I would not only not use this company again but I would not recommend them.

I contacted this company for an estimate and was told that I was out of their service area. Their website says they serve "the greater Phoenix area." I am located in central Phoenix. Not sure what the issue is, but I find it pretty unprofessional.

All of Albert's communications were prompt. He came out within a couple days, took measurements, and got me a quote within a day. He was able to start the work about a week or two later. I wanted to get my front patio/carports completely demo'ed and redone. Him and his crew were on my project for three days - the first day was demo, the second day concrete was poured, and the last day pavers were installed. The crew was very nice and did great work. Albert was there most of the time to supervise and make sure everything was done to standard, which I appreciated. Everything looks fantastic. The work really exceeded my expectations. Great work, very professional service, at a very reasonable price. Couldn't be happier. I am already planning to use Cactus Curbing for another project. I am attaching photos to share the before and after of their work. Can't believe so much improvement could be done in just three days.

He arrived on time and he sent me a price within a couple of days. I know he's busy which tends to happen when you do good work so I told him, quote approved, let's make it happen! That next Saturday his guys did demo, gate door fix (our last landscaper did a shoddy job that Albert fixed for me), dirt and rock haul off, grading. Then couple days later, Monday his crews poured our driveway extension. Beautiful joint layout and great work. I paid 50% on day 1 and 50% after his guys finished. Professional level work too.

Some never responded or followed up, while others gave me quotes that felt extremely high and honestly made me wonder if I was being overcharged because I'm a woman. From the moment I met Nataly and Angelica, the experience was completely different. They came out personally, took the time to explain the entire process to me, answered all of my questions, and provided great, fair pricing. I immediately felt comfortable working with them because they were knowledgeable, straightforward, and transparent. What impressed me even more was how involved they were throughout the project. They didn't just give me a quote and disappear once the crew arrived -- they were actually there while the work was being done, making sure everything was going smoothly and that the job was completed properly. That level of care and involvement really stood out to me. The entire experience was professional, easy, and stress-free, and the finished work looks amazing. It's refreshing to find contractors who are responsive, honest about their pricing, take pride in their work, and genuinely care about their customers. I would absolutely recommend Arizona Block Wall Contractors, especially Nataly and Angelica, to anyone looking for block wall work. I'm so glad I kept looking and found them. They will definitely be the first people I call if I ever need this type of work again. Highly recommend!

Half the places I called didn't call me back and the ones that did took a couple of days. I think it's rather stupid and petty to leave a negative review when no actual work has been performed. Anyway, I came home last Wednesday afternoon to a big hole in my block fence due to an unidentified vehicle that lost control on the wet road. I talked to several contractors and learned that my block size (4x10x16) was discontinued a few years ago and nobody had any, not even suppliers. I was faced with replacing the panel with 4x8x16 block that would not exactly match the rest of the fence. I could live with that and requested quotes. Then Rod called me back and said he had some 4x10x16 block. I texted him a photo and he replied that he had enough block to add to my undamaged blocks to restore the wall. He gave me a price that was in between the prices I was getting for the smaller block. I gave him the job and he scheduled me for today, Thursday, which was fine because other contractors were telling me at least two weeks. Rod and his crew showed up at 5AM (to beat the heat) and were done before 10AM. They did a quality job and I would certainly call upon him for future masonry work.
