Quick but not a job well done. i had them lay pavers for me next to my pool with gaps in between…read morefor turf. We laid out the design and decided on 3 in gaps between the pavers. The team knocked it out in 1.5 days which is great. Now that it's time to lay down the turf I'm having to spend a lot of extra time cutting turf to make it fit. I have 2.5 inch gaps, 2.75 inch gaps and of course a few 3 inch gaps. I guess I should have went out there with a tape measure to make sure it was getting done correctly but you pay for a service and expect it to be done the way you agreed upon. If you do use them just make sure you inspect everything along the way if you need a precision job done.

We had hired him to trim the tree later in the week, but after the windstorm he re-arranged his schedule to pull us forward earlier in the week. We really appreciated this because the tree was dangerous to our home and our neighbors. They did an amazing job on our tree, and I'm sorry I don't have any pictures of that project. In 2020, we were written up by our HOA for overgrown aloe plants. I called several companies for quotes, and I decided to go with Landscape Guy when his quote was competitive with the other offers. He did us a solid favor the year earlier with the tree, and I trusted his work. We agreed on a day for the plant removal, and his team arrived in the morning. They were courteous and very thorough. In addition to removing the aloe plants, they also blew the front yard and carted off all the debris in our yard beyond the plants that they removed. They exceeded our expectations because we weren't expecting them to clean the seed, leaves and pods that had dropped from our neighbors tree onto our property. Regardless, once again they exceeded our expectations, and we'll be reaching out to them for a third possible project.

My concern was that I felt the result was very different from what I hoped. I was disappointed. I hoped to have one of the nicest properties in the community, and instead I felt a little embarrassed. This is my fault, but I was out of the country for a couple of months while the company was doing the install, and I was too busy to give the project the careful thought that it required. After being in the house for one week, I decided that I was unhappy enough to be feel bad instead of happy about my new front and back yards. I decided to find another landscaper to totally redo the landscaping. I had seen the Desert Sage Landscaping truck several times over the past few months working on nicely landscaped properties (I rented a house in the community for 8 moths while they built my house). I liked what I saw. I talked with one of the guys and he took me to the owner, Miguel. I liked having the owner actively maintaining landscapes because that gave me confidence that he had a lot of practical, on the job experience with plants in our desert environment. I showed him my front and back yards and told him what I wanted done. I asked him about many plants that I liked and he told me what was good and what was bad. He was speaking from experience in maintaining so many properties. He gave me a plan within 24 hours and began a couple of days later. I hired All Terrain Landscaping to install brand new irrigation in my front and back yards and dump…read moresome rocks in a bare spot in 2016. By 2017, there were leaks. Subsequent years saw a few leaks every couple of months. I suppose I should have asked what type of poly tube they were using but figured for the price (over $3k), they'd be using something of quality. I was way wrong. I have had to engage Sprinkler Doctors for each leak (and it's not just one at a time, it's several at a time) after giving up doing it on my own. It just became a burden. Every instance of Sprinkler Doctors coming out to fix the leaks, the tech invariably asks, "who installed this?" and "this tubing is cheap." Most recently, I had a tech come out to address more leaks and he flat out told me that the tubing they used was garbage and the installers should have or would have known that. My entire system needs to be replaced because now, with each leak fixed, another leak pops up a little further down the line. So if you want to have fun repairing leaks a year after install, go with this company! If that doesn't sound like a grand time to you, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. TL/DR: irrigation tubing should last about 10-15 years after installation if it's buried. Mine hasn't even lasted eight. Leaks began occurring the year after installation.
