I asked if my ring could be cleaned while I waited for my glasses at a nearby store. The employee assisting me, BECKY, began explaining something, but it was unclear. She took my ring to clean to the back. I then asked her colleague for clarification, and I was told that there was a charm sale going on and that when there is an influx of customers, walk-up ring cleaning is not offered. While I understand that services may be limited during busy times, the store was nearly empty at that moment..just one other customer browsing. The comment felt unnecessary and dismissive. I had intended to browse and potentially make a purchase, but the interaction left me feeling unwelcome and discouraged from shopping. When BECKY came back with my ring, I said 'Thank You' and made sure I got her name from her name tag. AVOID BECKY or this location!
