I was scammed by Nicole. If you're reading this, please find an actual CPA and not a CPA…read more"candidate". Nicole was hired to clean up my books for part of 2024, 25, and 26. We had a great conversation, and she seemed capable. However, the price was unclear. My business is small with minimal transactions. Nicole initially quoted $2 per transaction, but her minimum charge would be $1,000 even if I didn't have that amount of transactions. I agreed to this. I paid a $1,500 down payment on May 20th and asked Nicole not to send me surprise billing. She promised to send me a proposal, but it was delayed until I demanded that she stop working on my books as I saw no progress. I advised her that I would find another accountant to complete the job. By then, she claimed that 2024 (7 months) was complete and that I needed to pay for the work she did, even though I never signed a contract (it was never sent until after she knew she was being replaced). Nicole has billed me an additional $4,307.50 for 7 months of work that I have no documents to show that she ever did. I have since hired someone else to complete the job, but now I'm being threatened with legal action. I also read Brandi's review and wanted to give Nicole a chance, but I regret not taking the advice above.

We paid her over 5 thousand dollars, an estimated amount of 800 dollars was for an amendment that was never completed. and 4,000 of it was paid for an "Advisory packet" that I was never given a itemized receipt or invoice for any of the charges that were coming out of that retainer. She also has not sent us a W9 or provide her EIN # to us. As a small business owner this is very damaging and has raised some cause of concerns. We were guaranteed a service and did not receive what we paid for. We feel like we were scammed out of a lot of money and we will be filling a complaint with the IRS due to suspicion of fraud and Neglect.

Sometimes they respond, other times you never hear from them. I can not in good faith recommend them. Update: they made errors on our 2022 taxes and we are still getting bills from the IRS for that tax year. They will try and get out of it claiming they did not make a mistake, but the IRS notice clearly states it was an error. We paid a lot of money to have our personal and business taxes done and it is extremely disappointing to continue getting error notices for this tax year from the IRS.

I sent him the return and he got back to me right away with some clarifying questions he needed in order to a tax estimate for the year, so we could plan accordingly. I sent him the information requested that night, and even thanked him for his prompt attention. However, this is where it went south. Two weeks go by and I didn't hear anything so I followed up with Mark via email. Still, I get no response. I moved on to another business to take care of my taxes. Fast forward 6 months, and I get a random bill for $190. I sent a copy of the bill to mark, assuming it was a mistake, and surprise I get no response. Another 30 days later, I get a past due notice. I refuse to pay someone for services NOT rendered. I would not recommend doing business with Weech Financial.
