Fix To Go's recent Yelp reviews were very good! So we quickly changed plans with AAA, and called ahead, explaining to Manager Bacardi the situation. He was straightforward with us, agreed with me on my guess (it was the starter), and gave us an accurate quote. Barcadi's team quickly sourced and replaced the starter, and noticed the brakes were in desperate need of pad replacement. The total price was not bad at all! I brought my C300 in for service, upon picking the vehicle up I noticed the right, front passenger side wheel and tire was not in the same condition as when I dropped it off. After several attempts to have the wheel and tire repaired due to their negligence during the after service test drive (that we didn't opt for or was told it would be driven), unfortunately Trevor refused to make this right. Additionally, I asked to see the before pictures and video that was mentioned on the phone, but was told there wasn't any. Any time a car goes in for service, a detailed report is completed by the technician, but I was told they do not do this. That's a bit concerning to me. I discovered a small dent on my car that occurred while it was parked. I went to Shalom auto body for a repair estimate. The estimate was outrageous for such a small dent, so I decided not to have it repaired. Today I found out that it was reported to CARFAX. There was no accident, no police report, no insurance claim, and no repair was done. This auto shop was the only place I went for an estimate. I highly recommend to stay away from this shady business. I wish I had never stepped my foot in there.

This place was recommended to us by a friend who said, "these guys (the mechanics) really know what…read morethey're talking about" and he was right. After having gone to a dealership and told my car was going to be pretty much inoperable because of the transmission needing to be replaced outright, I was beginning to panic. We reached out to this shop over the phone to just schedule getting my vehicle looked at to see what repairs needed to be done and of the transmission could simply be repaired (or needed to be completed replaced). Luckily when we came in the mechanic was thorough and we found out that the transmission was fine and would be for a good while still. The next order of business would be to get my AC fixed by getting a quote for that. The inspection and ac repair cost me about 900 dollars (give ir take). But they also did some other minor repairs just because, such as fixing the fuses in my car to get the lights working, air in the tires, car realignment, tires rotated and air put in. We had a short time frame to try to get the ac fix and there was some issues finding the right sized pieces to fix it, but after the first, second and third try, she was as good as new. The front desk was also very nice when I had any questions and worked with my schedule to get this all done. I highly recommend this place to anyone that needs repairs on their vehicle and is looking for a reputable mechanic that won't price gauge you for themselves.
