The bathroom door didn't close very well in our unit and the shower head came to my chin, but the other reviews were right on. They keep this (old) place neat and clean. Good location. Has about everything a regular hotel room does. Had microwave and fridge. The baseboard heater does the job. TV with DirecTV (I didn't try). There is coffee in the office, no tea or breakfast. Wifi. A little bonus is that it does kind of have neat views down into Port Angeles with the welcome sign right there, or back south toward some nearby mountains of the Olympics. Definitely recommended for the price and upkeep. Update: Stayed here a second time a year later (2 nights), and had the same good experience. read more

Stayed here one night while visiting the north part of ONP. Very surprised by this vintage motor motel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms, while older, are neat and clean and have had a fresh coat of paint. Many channels on tv, fridge and microwave in the rooms. Coffee is served in the lobby in the morning, but no breakfast. Clean and straight forward; great value for the price. The mattresses need to be updated, big time. The beds squeak terribly when anyone moves around on them, resulting in a terrible night's sleep. read more

The family that manages this is nothing short of crazy. We were treated poorly the minute we checked in. We were immediately judged for having mountain bikes. We were told that we could not put our mountain bikes in the room. We were to leave them outside in an unsecured area. When I said we could not do that the bikes were to expensive to just leave outside. The owner then apologized and said the young man telling us this was misinformed and was not very bright. Wow! On our last day there we headed out a to the Dryhill DH race. Upon our return we wanted to wash our bikes off in the area of the backyard they have just for this purpose. We were told "our kind" was no longer welcome and to get off his property. He said he doesn't want mountain bikers at his Hotel ever again. He would never allow us to book there AGAIN . He stated to let our kind know that mnt bikers would not be allowed. I tried to calm him down. But he could not stop talking under his breath. It was scary. Well that's fine by us! Put the word out ! This place is managed by a very angry man. Looks the hotel business got the best of him. read more

This was a family run simple but clean hotel and my favorite place to stay in Port Angeles until it was sold in August 2019. I stayed in December, which will be my last time. The room was extremely cold, no heat had been turned on and I had a reservation so they knew I was coming. The room was visibly dirty. The bedcover had something like black oil on it and there were hairs on the pillow. The worst was I took a shower (which was freezing) and there was something smeared on the wall of the shower and the old tile looked like it had not be cleaned. next, I needed to plug something in beside the bed but there was no outlet close by. I had to move the bed to the wall and was alarmed by how much dust was revealed! My experience was nothing like the many many times I've stayed there in the past. I'll be looking for a new favorite. This was the worst experience I have ever had. From the google reviews it had good ratings and the photos made the rooms look fairly nice. This was not the case at all. We arrived late and picked this place as a last minute effort to find a room to stay. The 2 owners (husband & wife) were not the friendliest. As soon as we entered the room my wife did not like the conditions and wanted to leave. The room felt dirty and is old. The fridge was unplugged and warm. My wife asked if we could get a refund after 15 minutes of being in there but the husband rudely spoke to her and refused. She offered to pay a fee to have the room cleaned since he stated we stepped foot in the room and it was considered dirty. But he slammed the door on her face and turned off the lights. I also told the man the toilet was broken. The handle was held together with a shoe lace and showed me how to get it to flush....... There was also mold in the sower. I've had my share of low end motels but this place takes the cake. You were warned!!!! read more

My family and I drove into Port Angeles late one night in September 2016. We had no reservations and drove up and down the strip trying to find a place with a room. After an hour with no luck, we parked at the local Publix and did some online digging... We struck GOLD with the All View Motel. We called and were told they had one room available, but this one room was a stinking SUITE. Kitchenette, three beds, huge bathroom. Our grand disappointment was them saying they were completely booked the next night. We were staying in the area to explore the coast and the GORGEOUS National Parks and knew we were going to be stuck with a room that was not even comparable for a whole lot more money. So the next day, we get up, bummed that we have to find another place, only to find out the owners had worked it out with the contractors that were doing their remodel job. They would have a room for us by the time we got back and we could leave our stuff!!! Talk about out-of-this-world customer service. I promised myself at the time to review this place, and I am a slacker that is just now getting to it. Lol The place is older, but they take obvious pride in it. There were even lamps with USB plugs... Not what you find at these kinds of places. Believe me, we spent a week in and out of motels like this all over Oregon and Washington Coast, the All View Motel was a shining beacon of hope and dreams compared to the other places. Its symbol should be the unicorn: positively magical. There were a plenitude of linens, fans in both of the rooms we stayed in, and the owners were more accommodating than my own parents would be. Everything was clean, there was little to no noise at night, and the entire place felt safe. I promise you, if I am ever back in Port Angeles, I don't care what my budget might be, I WILL stay at the All View Motel. read more

This place was definitely what another reviewer called "a hidden gem". We called in last minute and the woman mentioned they were closing for the night before we would make it in and arranged for us to have entrance into the room and to sign papers in the morning. The room when we walked in was such a great surprise! We had room 39 which had a great bed frame, a nice seating next to the window, mini fridge, microwave, desk and a decent bathroom with the cutest shower set up. My fiance loved the shower. I'm glad we stayed here. The rooms are not update to date by any means but it was one of the better places we stayed in our 2 week roadtrip (staying each night at a different motel/hotel/lodges) It was in our top 5 for sure. read more

Okay... you want a room, clean and quiet, for the night, before getting on the ferry to B.C. And you don't want to spend a lot on money. My choice is All View. Less than 5 minutes to downtown (and the ferry). All one level (old style u shaped motel) so no upstairs or downstairs neighbors, no frills (except there is coffee in the morning when the office opens at 8 AM). A firm mattress (thank you!). My wife and I and our 3 year old son stayed here for six nights in August 2011 and really enjoyed our stay. We were looking for a clean room that was affordable. Also, we wanted a hotel that cared about the rooms and didn't leave anything "unfixed." Allview was a perfect selection. It is only a mile from the entrance to Hurricane Ridge. On a clear day, the Olympic mountains are visible from the parking lot. There is no AC but it was cool and we didn't need it. (There is a box fan in the closet.) Of course, there is heat (which we did need at night). We did not have a kitchenette room, so I cannot comment on those. There is no continental breakfast but you have a fridge and microwave and there are plenty of resaurants within a couple miles. The bonus for us: An Albertsons (grocery store) was a block away and within easy walking distance. read more

This motel is intensely charming, and true to the name--it has all the views, mountain and ocean. The staff is courteous,and the room was clean. I reduced it to 4 stars as the bathroom was quite cramped, and I value a commodious commode. Also, be aware that there is no AC. There was a lively fan and the windows brought in cool air, but I could see the lack if AC being a problem for some. All in all, however, this was exactly right for a night spent on the outskirts of ONP! read more

I wish I could of highly recommended this place, since the owners were very pleasant and the rooms we're simplistic but clean. We stayed in the suite for close to to week. The room was inexpensive, it felt very safe, and was quite nice. The problem was: We requested that we didn't want room cleaning and we would do it ourselves. Well they chose not to listen to our requests and proceeded to do accordingly. My wife's shoes came up missing the morning when we checked out. Maybe more stuff was taken, not sure as we haven't finished taking inventory. If you plan on staying here, be very vigilant on your belongings. Lesson learned for us we shall have a little more watchful eye. It's unfortunate for the owners since they will no longer have our business in the future :( read more

I love the All View! I had to stay here for a little over a month when I was transferring jobs, they staff is ultra friendly and the rooms are incredibly clean! They run a basic hotel, and do that extremely well! In the middle of my transfer I stayed at a different hotel in the area that advertises a "like" price with a few more amenities, after 1 hour there I wanted to run back to the All View. NOTHING BEATS CLEAN when you are on the road. All View may not have as many amenities as their competitors, but you can't buy the peace of mind you get when you don't have to double check towels or worry about things like smoky bed sheets. read more

my boyfriend and i stayed here last summer. we are college students so we were looking for inexpensive and convenient along the coast during the popular month of august. A lot of places were already booked so I found all view motel in Port Angeles. I realize that it wasn't anything fancy and was not expecting much but I was still disappointed. I made a reservation in advance which was fine but due to a change of plans in our trip itinerary I tried to cancel the room. I knew there was a 24 hour cancellation policy but apparently called 15 minutes too late. The lady on the phone rudely informed it was 2:12 and the time to cancel was 2 and said she would charge me the full room price regardless if i stayed or not. I understand the policy but did not appreciate the rudeness or inflexibility. So we checked into the all view motel anyway. The front desk lady was nicer than the one on the phone from the previous day. but The room was dirty, the the towels were old and frayed and the bed smelled weird. I have stayed in crowded hostels for 10 dollars a night that were much nicer than this place. The best part is when we inquired about ice, we were given a CUP of ice and told only one CUP per guest room due to the fact that their ice machine is really just the manager's own freezer with ice trays. needless to say it was overall a bad experience. I went in expecting very little of this small motel and was disappointed, especially since this town is right next to the Olympic forest and the coast and therefore very busy with tourists, and could be a cute little place. maybe just needs to be upgraded a little bit or hire friendlier staff .its okay if you are staying for one night and just need a bed and shower. read more

This motel is exactly what you would expect. Missing something. There was no air conditioning, and the wifi didn't seem to work very well. But on the bright side, the bed was quite comfy and they did provide a fan to make up for the air conditioning woes. The room had a refrigerator, and a microwave, and possibly the best shower head I have ever encountered. Considering stay in the All View Motel? Think again! Here is a summary of my experience: A dream trip to the Olympic National Park started heading up to the recommended motel "All View Motel". Our friends stayed there once few years ago. To our surprise, front desk was a total mess, and, even though it was a bloom season, no one plant was seen around (don't be confused by the pictures and reviews on their website). Everything in the room was old and worn out, and the scent of chlorine lingers on the air. Anyway, we closed our eyes to that. Next day, we visited the amazing and beautiful Olympic National Park. Happy and joyful we came back to the motel and found our room cleaned (and, of course, locked), but my daughter's favorite Gap jeans and military belt (gift from her boyfriend who serves in the US Air force) were stolen. We tried to have a conversation with the owner, but ended up with the police report about the theft and threat. Later, officials anonymously unveiled that it wasn't the first and even the second report about theft there. So, it is my story. Do not repeat my mistake staying in the All View Motel! read more
