Wow really enjoyed lunch here. The restaurant is a little off the beaten path, but worth the trip. It is located in Hilliard and about 15 minutes from downtown Columbus. We started with the next appetizer plate. You get to try a little bit of everything, but my favorite was the dolmas. The hummus and Baba are both incredible. I couldn't get enough of it and used it on my entrées as well. For entrées, we ordered chicken biryani and tandoori beef kabob bbq. Everything was extremely flavorful and well prepared. My favorite dish was the beef kabob which I didn't expect! Enjoyed the chicken biryani but do wish the chicken came without bones. Definitely would return and recommend this place for a unique menu. I came in with my girlfriend. We were the only ones there at that point. She knew what she wanted and I needed to take a minute to look at the menu. She ordered and the guy disappeared starting to make her food and after 10 minutes never even came back to see if I wanted anything. Finally when they brought her food, we spoke up and said we wanted something else. They refused to make the two things I tried to order. These are not very intelligent, nor very nice, customer driven people. They had an opportunity at 2 new customers today and lost both of them due to the poor quality of their food and the terrible, unfriendly customer service they provided. read more

Everything was stellar about this place. I went to get takeout and the Moroccan owner who greeted me when I arrived at the restaurant was super nice and welcoming. He told another customer "I want you to have the best customer experience" and he even showed me his clay oven where they bake their naan (see picture). He even asked he where I was from and talked about what made each of their dishes great. It is clear that he and his co-owner (the Pakistaani chef) are proud of their restaurant and their food. He promised that the food would be delicious and in describing each item, he set the bar quite high for me! Driving home was torture as the aromas of the food were so tempting. But then when we finally dug into the meal, we were blown away. Everything we ordered was great; the palak paneer, the Pakistani whole chicken (great deal and takes 45 minutes to make), the baba ghanoush. I would highlight the daal lentil which was freshly made and a bit spicy and full of flavor which we loved. The naan is generous in serving and airy. And for me the best thing was the lamb tagine. I had an awesome tagine years ago in France at a Moroccan restaurant that was so tender, the meat just melted in my mouth. This dish came close to that memory, with a generous serving of dates covered in sesame, complementing the flavor of the lamb. It will be hard for me not to get this dish every time. I cannot recommend this restaurant more. This has been one of the best meals I've had here in Columbus in the last few months. This place has seen multiple management changes but good thing is the cooking staff is same and thus the food. Its a pakistani restaurent with some of the mediterranean dishes as well on menu. There chicken kebab is must have. Chicken curry and chicken tikka masala is also good and is different from Indian style chicken tikka masala which is full of cream. Don't be scared of oil on top of curries. Its the way they cook and is easy to relive from top. still better than food full of cream. Garlic naan is to die for. Highly recommend for kebabs and Adil is person who makes them. read more

The food was ok. Sub Average in flavor. A somewhat underwhelming. Not mind blowing but not overly bad. Chicken biryani barely had chicken chunks. Had more onions than meat. Bones bits here and there. Meh. The tikka kabab did not have a lot of flavor. The entrees don't come with any rice or naan. That's extra. Strange. Most entrees would at least come with basmati rice. Nope, not here. You have to order it a la carte separately. Not very coat convenient. It is little on the overpriced side. We ordered the Chicken Biryani and the Lamb Couscous. Both dishes were large on the portion size. I don't know much about Moroccan Food but the Lamb Couscous wasn't what I expected, the dish was good and the Lamb was tender but I imagined more Couscous. The vegetables that came with the Lamb were very good and large cut, not much of a large veggie guy. The Chicken Biryani was delicious! I think it is one of the more popular dishes as I heard a few orders of it over the phone as I waited 10-12 min for my food to be made. Most of their Moroccan food is available on the weekend instead of the week days which is when we ordered. Great place with some unique offerings as well as some standard middle eastern fare, very reasonable and delicious! The family that owns it is very friendly and attentive. I got the fattoush salad and the tandoori reshmi bbq tikka, which were both fresh and very well seasoned. The chicken was well cooked but was served a la cart so I'm glad I got the fattoush. My husband got the Nehari Beef, which was a unique and delicious stew, spicy but great for a cold autumn day. It had a sizeable serving of beef, which paired perfectly with naan, which was also huge and fluffy. I should have taken pictures but we are the food so fast! TL;DR Really good food but portion sizes were a bit small for the price. Went for dinner on a Saturday and were easily able to get a table for 3. I think there were only two employees there when we went, so it seemed like they were definitely struggling from a service standpoint. The food still came out pretty quickly and it was delicious! We tried the samosa chaat, chicken tikka, and chapli kebab. My main criticism is that I didn't feel like the portion sizes were appropriate given the prices; they were definitely on the smaller side and you still have to order the rice and/or naan separately. We also got both the regular and garlic naan. The naan were pretty big and crispy in all the right places, but again, seemed a bit overpriced to me. What a delicious meal! I had the Peshwari patties. Samosa, and hummous instead of one Naan, they gave two!! The green dipping sauce tasted of garlic and lemon, with dill. Meat was savory and spicy so when I spread hommous on the bread. And added the beef it melted in my mouth. The decor inside is also very soothing with creams, Browns and golds. Other decor items like bowls and knives adorn the walls. The cherry on the sundae is the absolutely polite and charming owner who smiles from ear to ear when you walk in. Would do again. I ordered via Uber Eats. The food wasn't bad but I didn't enjoy it because I did not know what to expect. I ordered lamb chops, naan, and a couple different desserts. The lamb chops were really fatty and the naan was plain but I anticipated eating the naan with palak paneer (they forgot my palak paneer). The rice that came with the lamb chops was really sweet too. I did not like the desserts at all (chabakia and rasmalai cake) but I think it's more of an ethnic/cultural issue with my taste buds versus the quality of the restaurant. I'm sure in terms of Pakistani restaurants, this is one of the better and more authentic places in Columbus. read more

This is currently my favorite restaurant. If you like this style of food (Pakistani & Moroccan) give it a try. They don't currently serve alcohol which is something to note. Prices are reasonable and staff is usually friendly. Today I purchased: samosa chaat $5.99 (my favorite dish here), lahori chaana $8.99, fattouch salad $4.99, chicken tikka BBQ $8.99, baba ganoush with naan $4.99, and chebakia $1.49 for dessert. Their samosa chaat is not great. mango lassi was very warm And not great. Biryani was good and naan were very good. Alu palak was very good too. Their kabab karae is also very delicious.
