If you're a female by yourself, be careful at this gas station. An AM-PM worker with a blue and orange uniform and small hoop earrings got uncomfortably close to me as I was pumping gas. He even hopped over the hose connecting to my car to get closer to me and pretended to be inspecting the machine. When I asked what he was checking for, he said he was checking for graffiti. Fine, but while a customer is using the machine? I then had to tell, "Can you give me some space while I unplug my car?" Whether he was really just doing his job or not, have the decency to give women space while they're pumping gas. I have had challenges here before but chalked it up to 'things happen' and didn't feel I needed to go out of my way to try to reach out to ARCO. However, today, the pumps were slow and, in previous visits, have had the machines quit on me before filling the tank. In every instance I needed to pay .35 cents because of my payment method. When I've asked the cashiers about this, they've given me a shrug, told me they couldn't do anything about it, including refund the charge. This happened again today and when I asked for the owner so I could resolve it with him/her the two cashiers at the register told me they didn't know who the owner was. When I asked who the manager was, they told me they couldn't tell me. I repeatedly asked them reminding them that the camera was recording my request, they didn't care and I was just ignored. This started with being a simple case of getting repeatedly charged the convenience fee when the pumps give out on one simple trip, it turns out that there's a lack of doing the right thing for this group, not to mention that I reached out to Marathon and they're hiding behind social media and there no-one to answer your call. read more

This gas station is supposed to be open 24hours, but every time I go there after getting off work late, they are always CLOSED, with some homemade closed signs. Bruh... first time leaving a review strictly based on how amazing the restroom is here. As a ride share driver, I visit a lot of different gas stations and I see a lot of gas station restrooms. There are a ton of places I refuse to walk into; just pump and go. I really had to use the ladies room and my bladder was in no mood to look for another open restroom. I went inside and I was helped out by a kind attendant. I asked for the restroom key after pumping gas. She gave me directions on where to locate the restroom without me having to ask. The restroom... for starters, even before walking in, that entire back area smelled like a strawberry air freshener. Once I walked in; Wowzers! It was so clean in there! No paper on the floor. No tagging on the walls or mirror. No funky smell. No odd stains. There were seat covers and tp in the tp dispenser. The soap smells great and it wasn't dripping onto the floor. It was well lit and it smelled like strawberries! I hope my riders have more drop offs in this area! read more

This Arco Gas station is usually the cheapest you'll find in Torrance. Gas is gas. The workers inside are kind. The self-pay is sometimes down but that's not a big deal. They have squeegees to wipe down your windshield. 4/5 because it is hard to exit East on Carson from this location. read more

The Hispanic Manager has an attitude! When I complained about not taking $10 worth of dollar coins for gas. She said they are too bulky and heavy and "nobody wants them." She said she no longer takes the dollar coins. When I asked her for the manager she stated she was the manager. Then I asked her for the corporate number she said its outside, to get it there I did not see it anywhere outside, however I will not be back. There are other gas stations that want my business. Consistently one of the lowest if not thee lowest priced gas station in the area. The mini-mart was recently remodeled so it still has that new re-modeled smell. The only draw back about this station is that it's small. It has 12 pumps, but the lanes are small so its hard to maneuver when you're trying to get to an open pump. Since its cheap its always crowded which makes it difficult to even get in line for one of the pumps. Cheap gas and new amenities, can't beat it. Just make sure you don't go during high traffic hours or you might end up fighting for one of those pumps. read more

Gas for $2.89 a gallon of 87 octane is relatively inexpensive compared to nearby locations. They were even giving a free bottle of water with an 8-gallon fill-up. The young teller was kind and even tells jokes. The store was clean but the bathroom was not. The bathroom had a little smell but it was tolerable. Paper towels, toilet seat cover and tissue was all available. You need a key from the teller to use. Overall an excellent gas station because of the price, friendly teller and paper towels in the restroom. read more

The armenian girl -teller is rude. One of their pumps did not working properly and spilled the large amount of gas with huge air bubbles and the armenian girl was absolutely nothing but rude , nasty and low. Ever since that I never go again. read more
