The cashier tried to grab my card and take it from me. I wouldn't let him grab it. He yelled in my face, "No gas for you!" And called the next customer in line. All of the customers witnessed this outburst and were shocked. I needed gas so I went to the back of the line to try paying again. I didn't want to make everyone wait. When I was at the front of the line again, the cashier scowled at me and went to hide in the back room. I asked him, "so you are not going to sell me gas?" And he shouted, "NO!" What an immature man. My wife attempted to use the restroom at the Shell Station at the above location and was told that the restroom was out of service! We had just left the 405 South Freeway, after locating a Shell Station with a bathroom on the internet. Her need for a restroom was extremely urgent and she begged the attendant to allow her to use the restroom. He refused and suggested that she go to the restroom next door the "Starbucks Drive Through", which was the only other business in the area with the possibility of having a restroom. Unfortunately, after checking the Starbucks next door, she was informed that they did not even have a restroom at all, so she returned to the Shell Station Attendant to let him know that they did not have a restroom. After filling my car with gas, I plead with the Shell Attendant to allow her to use the out of service restroom, and he refused! Subsequent to my interaction with the Shell Attendant, my wife was forced to go behind the Shell Station to relieve herself, at no small amount of embarrassment to herself! The attitude of the Shell Attendant was callous, unempathetic and appeared to enjoy the suffering of my wife in this circumstance. We were not freeloaders wanting to use the restroom without paying for gas or other items available to purchase, instead we were customers. I agree with Sharr K and Kristen M, this Chevron gas station seems to be the cheapest in Torrance. I like the fact they don't charge you extra for using your credit card. Some places don't even advertise additional charge until you run your credit card! This place is clean. It's located on the corner of Carson St and Crenshaw Blvd, across the Torrance Fire Station. You can use their window wipers and paper towels while you waiting for your car to fill up. I love their coffee here, it's Seattle's Best Coffee. I usually mix 3 parts bold caffeinated coffee with 1 part french vanilla for under $2. They give you a bonus card for your drink purchases. Buy 5 coffees/beverages and get the 6th one free!! And of course, the staff members are always friendly. Service with a smile here. I wasn't sure I wanted to advertise this gas station because it does get busy. Well, they deserve the kudos here!! It's not as busy late night or early morning.

Hopefully I am wrong, and my card did not get 'skimmed' here. This station is always big on security at pumps, usually denoted by security tape affixed to pump. It wasn't on there the night I think my card got 'skimmed'. The offenders had ALL of my card information, or at least enough of it to type my card number into payment system, at a Target, for a sizable charge, that would have been captured, if not for Amex's aggressive intervention. Be weary at pumps, trust the security tape - if it's not there, avoid presenting card.

I've been in twice within a week and have been told both times that they can't fill propane tanks due to being dark outside the first time (~6pm) and the second was due to rain (~10am). I could understand if there was only one associate working but both times had three. That caused me to go to U-Haul where a lady who was twice the age of your young, entitled, lazy associates filled it with no issues in the rain. She told me there is ABSOLUTLEY NO reason you can't fill up in the dark or in the rain. I hardly saw Sinclair gas stations here in LA. I saw a lot in the Midwest and East Coast. The place is clean, no trash on the ground and the machines are new. I visited before the morning rush which is nice. Both exits take me to my work which is perfect because traffic sucks. There are a couple schools and hospitals in the area so morning traffic is real. Lets see if my car likes their gas.
