I called today 10/22/2019 to ask about getting my lenses fixed because they are scratched. I was told the warranty expires after a year!! Nowhere on the form I was given is this disclosed!!! It states after a year the frames are no longer covered but says nothing about lenses. I am enclosing a photo of this warranty. May be a coincidence, but I actually got a stye after my first visit and I haven't had a stye since I was a kid. I planned to order my contacts through them but I wanted to get my glasses online but they would not release my full prescription... because they said that they can't make any money unless I buy my frames there. I promise you I looked through every single frame, and I just didn't see any that I liked. I prefer to buy my glasses online so that I have different glasses with different outfits. And I do not like having just one pair of glasses for obvious reasons. So I can't return there. I will have to go back to Changs because at least they were professional and had no issue handing me my full prescription.

I was made to stand at the reception desk while the receptionist carried my glasses to the technician in the back. (whom I NEVER saw!) she was the go between and would give them to me to try. No mirror, no chair, nothing, very odd! Just stand at the desk in the middle of everything in tge lobby. Then after a few back and forths the receptionist said look at tge arm it will most likely break! I can GUARANTEE I won't be back. I repeatedly contacted them within the first month and told them my glasses were not working out. The Dr. for some reason changed my prescription then had to re do it again. I got regular glasses and sunglasses. Unfortunately, I moved in July of 2024 and continued to have issues with my glasses. I called 7 times to get assistance. No one ever called me back. Four of the calls went into voicemail and 3 I talked with different woman who were working at the time. They all assured me that they were going to take my message to the Dr. and she would return my call. This NEVER happened. My sunglasses that I paid a very high amount for, broke. I called again to tell them that the glasses were only 6 months old and the arm broke off. Nobody got back with me. I am livid about the service. These glasses should have been under a warranty. I am now in Colorado and went to another eye dr., and they expressed how this office should have replaced these glasses. I called again and left another message with no response. I also called to have my prescription faxed to my new eye doctor and no one returned my call. This is UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!! I paid out of pocket over $1,000.00 for my glasses. I tried contacting through the website and all remarks are blocked. Hmmmm???? I wonder why??? Doesn't take much to figure that one out. The glasses were not suitable for me as they caused me to trip and stumble due to the poor design. Should I now get an attorney? I feel I deserve my money back. There is a large collection of glasses available. Today, I just needed my glasses fixed. I visited 3 other shops (Oakmont, Lens Crafters, and America's Best) the day before I cam back to Verona Eye Care. None of them could fix my glasses, and some even said my glasses were mangled and beyond fixable. They said there was a part missing at the top of my glasses. I was expecting the fixing process to take days, but the receptionist (receptionist! Not the doctor) fixed my glasses within a minute. She was very friendly and all around great. She even did this fix for free! I've had these glasses for years, they are sturdy, and I definitely trust Verona Eye Care to provide high quality glasses at reasonable prices and with great service. The optometrist is efficient. They are closed on Sundays unfortunately. My mother had an iffy experience here once where they recommended she go to Oakmont Eye Care instead (could have been the language barrier). But, this is definitely my go to optometrist. Quick, efficient, friendly, experienced, good with kids. I'll come back for glasses and a checkup anytime I need it.
