They do not transport anyone up or down a step! Seems like a simple operation but their insurance won't allow it. Update: we weren't able to use Allegiance Transportation due to the fact they cannot move patients on steps. Would be nice if they added this piece of information to their website to save potential customers time. That's the reason for a less than perfect score. read more

We used Allegiance today to go to TCO Prosthetics and Orthotics. Our Driver wad Albert. We have had him before, and he is terrific. He is pleasant, polite and very professional. He makes the trip very enjoyable. We think Allegiance is top notch. The vans are always clean and tidy. There was a lapse in my mom's insurance so I had to pay for her rides myself (she lives in a nursing home in St. Paul and I live in DC). My mom's nursing home recommended Allegiance and they are wonderful! My mom isn't crazy about the drivers for Apple Rides or U Rides because they are always late or don't show up at all. She said her Allegiance driver(s) is punctual, sweet and she feels safe with the driver. She really loves their service and their employees. Every time I've called to schedule a ride, the rep has been really great and helpful. These guys really know their business, especially if you have a loved one in wheelchair who needs door through door service. Also, their rates are highly competitive as I had called around to a couple of other companies to get quotes. You can schedule a series of rides ahead of time and they can charge you everything at once, or per ride after the trip. Also, they are pretty flexible about cancellations as well. Allegiance is AMAZING! It gives me peace of mind knowing that my mother is in their hands.
