This was the first event we've ever been to at Enmarket Arena. It's about half the size of VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville which holds about 15,000 for concerts whereas Enmarket Arena holds about 7,500. Their minor league hockey team plays there as does their new women's basketball team like our Jacksonville Waves. The venue has been open for 4 years now and somehow, there are still some pain points with respect to customer service / interaction. There seem to be tiers of teams there and I can tell you this: every single person we interacted with that was wearing a blazer was rude to us for absolutely no reason. Even though we encountered more than a few folks who seemed almost mad to be working there I'd like to call out two AMAZING people that helped make our night awesome. These two folks were from other teams (not wearing blazers). First, I'd like to thank Sheila for being a warm, kind hearted person who was just a joy to interact with from the moment we got to the arena until we left. We roamed a lot, so we ran into her more than a few times. Every time we did, she was smiling, helping someone with something and being upbeat. I'd also like to say thank you to Adrienne, our go-to person at the concession stand by section 102. Like Sheila, she was warm, kind and just a very nice person. She happens to know Detroit very well so we had a great conversation about traveling around Michigan as kids. The show itself had a surprising amount of production issues, which I've never seen at a Weird Al concert. Miscued backdrop videos and delayed audio triggers happened a few times through the show, which was just odd to see. Al is a pro though, so he pushed through them without missing a beat or complaining to the crowd about it. I've included photos of us with the workers I shouted out along with a photo of Lauren talking to Weird Al after the show. If you go to the original post in our Facebook group, you'll also see a few long video clips of the opening of the show because I always love how he starts the show from backstage. Another great experience from Weird Al is in the books. Now we have to wait for Tallahassee in September before we see him again. We prepaid $20 for front lot at side of venue. Now, let's discuss getting out of said parking lot. We got in our car at 10:30. We are still in our car & no one is moving! Yes, I am writing review as we sit in the parking lot. We have been to several concerts over the years and have never had this type of issue before. So I suggest you park on one of the lots on the road beside the venue or the back of the lot closest to the exit. Started moving at 11:05!

I would recommend purchasing your ticket in advance as they do work in a reserved seating format, not open seating. Kiosks are available in the lobby as well. If you have a mobile ticket you can go right to the attendant to see your movie. I've seen other comments stating that the line for concessions is long - that was our experience as well. Other that that, the staff was very nice and happy to help.

The theater itself is really nice, but what stood out the most were the chairs, super comfy and honestly kind of fancy. They have two different buttons so you can adjust your position, which made the whole movie even more enjoyable. The concession area was also very well stocked, with plenty of options, and everything felt clean and organized. On top of that, everyone we interacted with was friendly and welcoming, which always makes a difference. The tickets were a bit on the pricey side, not sure if it was because of this specific movie or if that's just the standard now but overall, it felt worth it for the comfort and experience. Definitely a great spot for a movie night!

I had the Brown Derby and wife had a Mule. Brown Derby was good and they definitely give you a good pour of alcohol. The Mule was $5 and was very tart and refreshing. If you go with the guided tour you will probably get more info without reading the walls. The bar is just a bar with a set number of period cocktails. Cost is $11 if you pay ahead, $13 if you buy at the bar. Plenty of people got them and the room was crowded. The last part of the display was probably the most interesting because it was a movie. However it's in a very hot room with velvet seats that did not attract my party of four. If you've ever watched a Ken Burns special on this subject you know all you'll ever need to know. And you will be comfortable in your own home. I advise to skip it and go to a proper bar for a drink.

It's pretty easy to see in maybe a half hour or so. Everyone hangs around for the rifle target practice, that's the most fun. There's also the cannon show which coincides with the arrival of one of the riverboat cruises. Cool history lesson learned here and worth the Uber to get here.

The tour includes an in depth history of the home and people who lived there and tons of information on the architecture of the buildings. The tour focuses on the lives of the enslaved people who lived and worked on the property. There's an interest exhibit in the basement of the home with letters that provide insight into the lives of the enslaved people. The home and garden are beautiful, and I learned so much!

She was dressed in colonial period costume and actually had a rich family history in the area. We grabbed a beer inside and headed up to the second floor of Moon River, which is supposedly very, very haunted. People being hit by objects, power tools switching on by themselves, and other stuff. Anyway, we went to two other pubs and then a haunted square where and indian chief is buried and then on over to the 1790 restaurant for a one of the best Planter's Punch drinks I've ever had. All in all, a really good time. The guide was very knowledgable and was full of fun facts and great stories! This is a must do for adults in Savannah. Really a neat experience. So glad we did this.
