Alright, let's see how much I can remember from my original review that I sent to their site and…read morethey won't post (AF doesn't post reviews below 4 star) My dishwasher purchase is my first and last from American Freight. I bought a scratch and dent unit and, despite their final sale policy, I was assured that AF performs in-house tests and the units work as intended. After hooking up the unit and checking all ports, the dishwasher leaked. There was a seam in the drum that was damaged or defective and was leaking water from the side panel. IF they actually test ran this unit, they would not have been able to miss this leak. I called AF 4 times that day because of this issue (I called a 5th time because of another question that never was answered). Call 1: I tell them the unit is leaking from the side panel, not a port. The associate, J, doesn't have an answer and the manager was on break so they would need to call me back. I wait an hour and call back (break should be done and I haven't heard anything) Call 2: J tells me to call KitchenAid because the unit is still under warranty. I know from working in manufacturing that this isn't KA's problem, but I call anyway. KA tells me that the warranty doesn't cover this issue. I call the store back. Call 3: I tell J that KA doesn't cover this issue. He tells me he needs to talk to the manager and will call me back. I wait a few hours and call back. Call 4: I ask J, he answered, what is going on. He states they are working on trying to find me a comparable replacement unit and will call me when they find something. Why didn't they call me to tell me this? Who knows. Well, that was 3 weeks ago now. I haven't gotten 1 phone call from them. They have my information. I was left with a dishwasher that doesn't work and I am not allowed to return. They just told me what I wanted to hear and completely blew me off. AF offers a warranty and I can't imagine that they help ANYONE with issues with how my experience went. These calls were 2 days after I bought the unit. If you are looking for scratch and dent appliances I highly recommend Western Mass Appliance (they didn't have any KA's in the weeks I called them) they are a small business run by local people.

When the employee asked us for the order number, he said that they no longer have the dryer, even though we had already bought the dryer and it was ours. He said that the dryer was canceled two days after our order so we are assuming that they sold our dryer to somebody else sold our dryer to somebody else and didn't give us our refund or even have the decency to call us or send us an email to let us know that they canceled our order. Very unprofessional.

I wouldn't recommend Advantage Appliance after my recent service. My husband and I have used them…read moretwice. Note you will have to pay a $100+ consultation fee for them to assess your problem and then a separate cost to fix it. The first time was for a repair with our washing machine. The repair person who came out was nice and assessed the problem, however when they sent another repair person to fix it, that individual told the first assessment was wrong. He had the parts and fixed it. It's still working. Our most recent repair would have been a one-star rating. The door closed sensor on our Whirlpool (model WRV976FDEM01) wasn't working correctly and the coldness of the fridge was not what it should be. We called Advantage, they sent someone out to assess the problem and we were told a tech repair person would be back to fix it. The total for the repair was $516.85. When that person came, he told us the assessment wasn't accurate and he would need another piece to fix it and that he would have to order it. We would have to a few weeks before the job could be complete. After a couple of weeks, we received the additional piece. They mailed it directly to our house (I appreciated that) and about a week later the appointment to reschedule was booked. When the repair person arrives she only replaced one of the pieces. My husband and I thought that was odd because the other individual specifically ordered two parts and she only replaced one. We saved the other piece. Up until the week of 1/4/21, the fridge seemed to be fine. Then I began hearing the door sensor again. My husband checked to see if there was a leak to the piece where the part was replaced and there was not. He called Avantage Appliance and explained the situation and they still wanted us to pay the consultancy fee to have one of their techs fix a problem we paid $516.85 dollars that was supposed to be fixed. He also learned they don't guarantee their work for more than 30 days. Hot mess. He wasn't paying. He looked up the piece that wasn't replaced and how to fix it. Gotta love the internet because he found a video that showed you how to replace it. That's what we did this weekend. He and I fixed it ourselves. We had to remove the food, all the shelves, drawers, and doors to replace one small wire. Something tells me the second tech who came knew that's what was required and it's why she only did the replacement of one of the parts. She did the easy part. I'm infuriated that the company didn't honor their work. I'm disappointed we paid $516.85 dollars and did someone else's job for them. If another appliance goes, we won't ever call Advantage Appliance, and recommend you don't either. Look around for an alternative repair company and if you have the time, DIY!

In the last 9 years we have gone through 2 expensive mattresses. One that cost over 2,500 dollars. We couldn't believe that we again needed a new mattress. Several trips to the chiropractor later I began to believe we in fact needed a new one. I had been given advice to go see these "2 guys" in Feeding Hills Ma SIGMA Mattress. They owned the small company that built them by hand. After stopping in and speaking with Alex I felt very comfortable that he knew what he was doing. He cared about my issues and would help build a mattress specifically for our needs. I brought my wife back with me and she got to test all the different options and see how they were all made. Where can you do that? Not in a strip mall store. Anyway our custom mattress was delivered within 24 hours and we couldn't be happier with the product and the service we received. Best of all...HALF what all those guys in the paper and TV! No kidding, HALF! We were so pleased that's why I felt compelled to write this review. I also feel good that our money is going to stay right here in the Valley! Thank You Alex& Jim at SIGMA Mattress!!!
