I was down the block and asked for some flowers to be made in the $35 price range and the occasion: I asked not to include a specific type of filler and when I arrived she was already working on them. The entrance and exit is a little tricky but I'm very familiar with Long Beach and their streets. If you're not, pay close attention. It's next to a donut shop and close to the pollo loco across the corner street. I loved the quality and type of flowers they had. My mom does flowers for a living so I am very picky. She has the immense talent of creating a piece that says "I'm deeply and madly in love with you, but not in a scary way. In a chill, kind, fun way." She knows how to capture the lightning in a bottle necessary for someone whose eyes you get lost in. I just picked up an arrangement from her and I was in a huge rush to LAX, I almost didn't make it. I have missed many flights before, but this time I genuinely truly believe that the TSA agents were being extra kind to me and let me cut the lines because they saw me holding beautiful flowers and I just barely made the flight in time. On February 15th a lovely arrangement was delivered for my anniversary (was also delivered later than the agreed delivery time). Lilys are my favorite flower so my husband naturally wanted to try this shop for its high reviews and name. Very sadly this arrangement didn't hold up well, the roses were dying by day 3 (not a huge issue as roses always seem to go first) and the Lillys never bloomed! I've never had this happen. the Lilly's are dying before they even bloom. We frequent another shop D... Garden and this has just never happened. I have no explanation for why as nothing different occurred but given how expensive the arrangement was ($100+) I had expected to see those beautiful Lilly's bloom. read more
