I'm not one to leave reviews, but after today I knew that I needed to share my extremely positive experience with Peter at Alliance Auto Body in Pasadena. I had been here before when my car's bumper had been bumped in a parking lot. Peter provided a very fair quote and he and his team did excellent work (the paint matched perfectly) in a short amount of time. Recently I found myself unlucky again, having both of my rear view mirrors broken from hit and runs in parking lots (on separate occasions, but once the drivers side mirror was hit I knew I needed them both to be fixed immediately). I researched purchasing the mirrors, which surprisingly are not cheap, and decided I needed to stop in at Alliance to see what Peter could do. This time his customer service went even more above and beyond - he saw the urgency of my situation and got on the phone with a parts distributor immediately. He was so persistent that he got both mirrors at a low cost, delivered and fixed all in the same day. Labor cost is very reasonable and they provide excellent work. For myself, I found it really hard to find a place that I felt comfortable with, so I cannot over emphasize how grateful I am to have stumbled upon Alliance! Peter at Alliance is running one of the most honest, trustworthy, fair, hardworking, and meticulous auto body shops and there is no doubt in my mind that I will be recommending him to anyone I know and will going to him for any of my future auto body needs. Probably like most folks, I am generally very careful and cautious with who works on my car. After some research, I decided to take my Honda Accord to Alliance Auto Body because of the many great reviews I read on yelp The reviews were glowingly positive, and now I truly understand why. The owners (Peter and Anna) were absolutely amazing! I cannot say enough, really. Firstly, the work that Peter and his team did to fix my side passenger door and frame was fantastic. When I brought it in, the side door had a dent and did not align with the car's front side frame. It took them only one day, but they made it look like brand NEW. Peter told me what he intended to do, then his team did the work (and sent me a picture of their progress while they were working on it), and the end results were awesome. Like brand new! Secondly, Peter literally saved me $1,400 - $1,600 worth of work and time. My Honda dealership quoted me a price that was quadruple what Peter said that he could do it for ... and it didn't take Alliance the 3-4 days that the Honda dealership was quoting! Last, but not least, the customer service, advice, care, and consideration that Peter and Anna's mom-and-pop shop provided was so very very impressive! I felt like it was my own dad working on my car. Peter gave me honest advice on what I absolutely needed to get fixed AND what I didn't need to fix. I was skeptical about how a place could have 99 reviews all at 5 stars. However I decided to give them a shot even though they weren't on my AAA approved list. I am so glad I did. For starters, they got me an estimate the same day. They were extremely flexible, allowing me to chose from either refurbished parts, re-use my own and have them re-work them, or buy new from the factory. Even with choosing new factory parts the price was nearly half that of the other place that said my car was totaled. I wish I had stuck with my gut feeling to take it here in the first place. While fixing my car they kept me apprised of details along the way, such as when the parts arrived, repair status, etc. In little over a week I had my car back and it was better than it was (since it had been fixed years prior in another accident by a AAA approved place). Everything lines up correctly and the paint matching was superb. On top of that, they are the nicest people you will ever meet. Lesson learned; even if you have AAA, just have an adjuster come out and take it here instead. Also, just because a place has all 5 star reviews, it doesn't mean it's too good to be true. My truck was rear ended and had bumper and tailgate damage. I went to a place that my Mercury representative told me to for the initial quote. I really didn't get a good feeling from that first body shop. I then turned to Yelp for help. I checked the reviews for a few of the San Gabriel valley shops with a high number of yelp reviews. I visited three other shops in addition to Alliance Auto Body. The three other shops were either dirty, shady, or didn't seem to have time to give me an estimate. I went back to Peter and Anna at Alliance Auto Body because they were very friendly. It really felt like a family business and suspected that they would treat me right. My truck turned out great! I am so happy about the process and the end result. I referred my mother over to them. She is scheduled to get some repairs done in the next week or so. Even though I live a considerable distance from Pasadena (Hollywood to be exact), I trusted a friend's recommendation and worked with Alliance to get some fairly major repairs done. I could not be happier about the choice. Not only does my car look fresh from the factory again, but the service was off the charts. Peter arranged to pick up my car, kept me updated throughout the repair process, and even had it delivered to me when finished - all of which, I might add, was done exactly on time and as promised. When you talk about body shops, first thing on your mind would be, the inconvenience, and then there's the waiting period and then finally, the expectation of the end result. Never had any of these with my experience with Alliance. Michael was the best. Polite, soft spoken, did not make any promises that a client would want to hear and he even helped us with contacting the very elusive insurance adjuster we excruciatingly had to deal with. I took my car in for repair after getting swiped by the stereotypical bad Asian lady driver in Alhambra who decided to abruptly switch into my lane without checking her blind spot (Alhambra is dangerous place, I tell ya). He drove me to the car rental place, sent me texts and photo updates of the work in progress, and my car came back looking brand spanking new. I walked in for a little body work on the recommendation of the mechanic who fixes my Mercedes. I expected to pay hundreds of dollars for a partial paint job. Peter found a different solution that saved me all of that money. Some car specialists don't understand that it's in their interests to build long-lasting relationships with their customers -- that if you overcharge a customer, she'll never come back. Peter takes the opposite approach: He treats you the way he'd want to be treated himself, which is fairly and honestly. Yelp, you've come through for me yet again!! I got rear ended a few weeks ago while driving home from work. Accidents suck- such a pain in the rear (no pun intended) getting estimates, finding a good and TRUSTWORTHY repair shop, working with insurance, etc. etc. After my great experience with Peter and Anna, I'm kind of sad that the only way I can work with them again is if I get into another fender bender... So my adventure started after the accident happened. I have an 2009 Accord Coupe so my natural instinct was to call around to Honda dealerships since I knew I wouldn't get cheapo imitation parts and since they're kind of regulated since they're a dealership and whatnot. (LUCKILY) none of the local dealerships had auto body capabilities, so my husband and I each went and got an estimate for my car. He was referred to a local body shop by the Honda dealership, and I ventured onto Yelp to find a reputable place. Peter gave me an estimate, and it was a tad bit lower than the other place. The tipping factor was all the glowing Yelp reviews on here. Trust takes time to build, and Peter and Anna won my trust early on. Peter was very thorough (and animated) when showing me the issues with my bumper. He and Anna even offered to give me a ride back to my apartment (which is fairly close by) after I dropped my car off so my husband wouldn't be inconvenienced with picking me up. When my insurance only approved an after-market bumper, Peter surprised me with a genuine Honda bumper! He knew that I wanted only the best for my car, so he made it happen. Seriously?!? Who does that?! These days people are just in it for the $$, so when you show that you listen to your customers and actually CARE, that makes all the difference. Throughout the time my car was with Alliance, Peter sent me text updates and also texted me pictures of the internal damage and progress. He and Anna made sure I was up-to-date with all their findings (there was extra hidden damage that was found) as well as their dealings with my insurance company. I just picked up my car today and it looks BEAUTIFUL! My bumper is perfect and the paint looks flush with my car's paint. Peter and his team even went a little further and buffed out a few imperfections (aka dings, scratches, etc...oops!) that were on the body of the car. Thanks so much guys!!! I really appreciate your great work, honesty, and transparency. All in all, finding a great body shop is about the customer service and quality. Anna is so sweet and keeps the office running smoothly, and while Peter can seem a little rough around the edges at first, he is a hoot and is a great, knowledgable, and hardworking guy. My car had the misfortune of hitting a flying truck tire on the freeway which cracked my plastic front bumper. Peter ordered a new OEM bumper straight from the car manufacturer (no gray market products). He had it painted with the complex three stage process for my car's paint, and installed within two business days. He also communicated clearly with me throughout the process, informing me when parts arrived and various stages of the job were in progress. My final price actually came in lower than the written estimate. The final result looks like it just rolled off the new car lot. This is a great place to go. I accidentally scratched the side of my car and wanted to remove the scratches from the side. I went to Peter and he informed me that it wouldn't be the worth the cost to completely remove the scratches and I would be better off paying a MUCH better rate having the area buffed and painted over. I was a little skeptical of this place being in Pricey Pasadena where everyone charges an extra 75% for things that should be less. But Peter gave me a really nice deal price-wise and kept me FULLY informed the whole time of what to expect. I read in another review his wife is the receptionist, I did not catch her name but she really is a very, very sweet lady and always tries to answer your questions. I'd recommend this place. I was really impressed with this place and how they took care of me. First I was greeted by Raymond. He was nice and obviously in the middle of a lot of different projects but he was courteous and very friendly. I needed a bumper replaced and a few other things but instead of just charging me whatever he wanted for all these services l needed he was so open to showing me exactly how much everything cost and recommending even other places that did good work that could do it for less than he could. This blew me away. Then he gives me a quote that was far less than I anticipated and offered to deal with a couple other issues I was having at no extra charge. The work was outstanding the bumper was obviously well painted and matched perfectly and the car looked brand new again. One if the other things that threw me off a bit was how several of the other customers told me about how well they haf been taken care of and that I had nothing to worry about. I have never experienced that before in an auto body shop. The bottom line is that Raymond was true to his word his people did amazing work and they didn't take advantage of me, they did the work quickly and I couldn't have ask for more in this experience. I was compelled to write my first ever Yelp review because of the outstanding service that I also received recently from Peter and Anna at Alliance. As I was driving on the 5 freeway, a wooden box dislodged from a truck and struck my front bumper panel and damaged my fog lamp. Based on the perfect Yelp reviews and Peter's reasonable estimate (his was lower than Holmes Body Shop's), I decided to take my Lexus IS250 to Alliance on February 25. Peter estimated three days for the repairs. By the end of day two, he told me that my car would be ready for pickup at 8:30 a.m. the next day. During the entire process, I received emailed updates and photos of my car from Anna. Peter also contacted Enterprise Rental Car for me, notifying them when I would be coming in to pick up a rental car and when I would be dropping it off. Not only were the damages expertly and promptly repaired, Peter also had a surprise for me when I picked up my car. Backtrack a few days ago when I first met Peter: I asked him about the extra cost to fix two door dings (unrelated to the accident) on my car. To my surprise, both door dings on my car are completely gone as Peter fixed them for me, free-of-charge, out of his own pocket! The delight in Peter and Anna's eyes when I saw their work was priceless. Needless to say, I was truly touched by their generous gesture. My car is literally better now than before the accident. I'm not at all surprised that Alliance Auto Body has 5 stars- they are the BEST! Peter and Anna were so incredibly helpful with everything I was going through when I first brought in my Subaru for an estimate. My car had been damaged in a hit-and-run accident, but a witness wrote down the driver's plate and (after the police investigation) their insurance accepted liability for the damages. I was worried about going through the whole process with the other party's insurance, but Anna was so helpful and supportive, I knew I was in good hands. She went out of her way to communicate with the other party's insurance and set everything up for me. The actual auto body work was superb. Peter went out of his way to explain every little detail to me, and made my (somewhat old) car look better than new; he also went above-and-beyond to make my car look perfect. The quality of work is truly at the highest standard, and it's apparent how much pride he puts into his work. Overall, I believe these two people make this place extraordinary. I feel so grateful for the time and effort they put into my whole situation. First off after finding out the body shop is under new ownership I asked to see the quality of your most current work. I immediately saw flaws and asked if you could open the door so I can see how the paint blended with the inside. You said it was a clients car and would not open the door. My daughter even commented if I noticed the same thing as her and I said yes. I then told you I was not comfortable leaving my truck with you and drove off as you were trying to keep us there. As we were backing out you and your shop worker opened the car door to inspect the work. Seemed like a serious discussion regarding the workmanship. I've already spoken with my insurance company regarding the nick on the side of the truck and rear damages. If I reviewed all damages and already had the truck inspected by my insurance company before I brought it to you not sure how you can claim insurance fraud. The Nick on the side of the truck was 100% from on coming traffic on the freeway while being parked on the #1 lane after being rear ended on the freeway. Which you even said was very likely. Once again you're caught lying. Please if you have video post it to clear your name. It will prove again that your a liar. It will show you walking to me, your worker rubbing the back side of my truck with me telling him to stop because he was scratching the paint because the truck was dirty and he insisted it didn't matter because that part of the truck needs to get redone. I told him to stop!!! I then showed you the side of the truck that was nicked. I asked to see your latest job and you, me and my daughter walked up the driveway to look at the car. Your video will show my daughter and I looking at the car then walking back to the truck with me saying I'm not leaving my truck and you trying to convince me otherwise. My daughter and I got in the truck and backed out and you and your worker went back to see what my daughter and I noticed on the car. So please show your video.
