What really stuck out to me is unlike other small repair shops, these guys embrace technology! You get a comprehensive vehicle report that is texted to you with pictures of your vehicle, not a stock photo, along with recommendations to keep your car running smoothly. They also threw in a 3 year warranty on my repairs which was great peace of mind. Not sure if this is a standard Doctor Auto thing or if it was based on the work I had done, but most shops don't even mention any of that stuff. Give these guys a try, you won't be disappointed!

I highly recommend Ken's…read more  I purchased an after market roush front fascia/ bumper and needed it painted and installed on my red 2015 GT Mustang.  I wasnt sure where to have the bumper installed.  I saw several good reviews on Google and another on Yelp, so gave Ken a call.  From the very start Ken asked good questions about the bumper, and my car over the phone.  He worked within my schedule to set an appointment and view my car at his shop.  Ken also provided a solid estimate in advance which was in line with the reasonable prices I had researched online for paint and install of a bumper. Long story short.  Ken not only painted my bumper a factory match and quality but he also was able to create a custom fog light delete which was necessary in order to retain the adaptive cruise control and collision detection features on my style mustang without me having to purchase another style of aftermarket bumper or mustang package.  Credit to him for coming up with that idea.  Saved me a headache.  He knows his stuff. My car was done within 3 days and Ken kept me updated the entire time.  He not once tried to sell me anything extra and was very down to earth.  He even touched up my rims which got rid of my parking nick's and scrapes and didn't ask for a cent extra.  Ken kept my car looking good.  Overall great service and experience! The mechanic was so nice and knowledgeable, I've never felt with someone working on my car. Beautiful clean waiting room with drinks,TV amd couches. My review to Zaks auto:…read more I brought my vehicle to this shop for an oil change, brake fluid flush, and other maintenance before a Porsche Club of America (PCA) track event. They also performed their complimentary PCA tech inspection, which is advertised as a thorough inspection. I specifically asked that all vehicle fluids be inspected before the event. During the track day, my car suffered a power steering failure that left me stranded. I had to call my regular mechanic to the track to repair the car so I could get it home, resulting in a significant repair bill and a lost track day. They offered no support or reparations. When I first contacted the shop, their response was simply, "You brought the vehicle to a track. We aren't liable." It was only after multiple phone calls that they acknowledged the power steering fluid had appeared discolored while the car was in their shop all day, but they never communicated that to me. I understand that track cars can fail. My issue isn't the failure--it's the lack of communication. I specifically asked for the fluids to be inspected, and the shop later admitted they noticed discolored power steering fluid but chose not to mention it. Had they done so, I would have serviced the system before the event. I've included photos of the power steering fluid taken after the failure and during the repair. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this shop if you're relying on them to prepare your car for a track event.
