Stopped by here looking for reliable and affordable oil change and inspection. All the staff were INCREDIBLY helpful and friendly. The day I went the inspection machine was down, so I just had the oil change done. Only paid $35 for the oil change and will definitely be back once the machine is up and running!! read more

My Altima was making two very noticeable noises. One, a metallic grinding noise and the other a creaking noise as I turned the wheel. I brought it to Joe's Citgo because I had pleasant experiences there in the past. When I brought the car in the shop seemed busy. Eli asked if I could leave it with them and I had no problem with that since I have a second vehicle. About two weeks went by and no news on my car. I decided to head down to the shop and talk to them. I asked Eli if there was any verdict as to what was wrong with my car and he said there was nothing wrong! So my vehicle had sat in their parking lot for two weeks apparently with nothing wrong. No communication from them. To make matters worse the Altima is still making the same noises. I'm thinking they must not have bothered to even take it for a test drive. Sadly I won't return there again despite having good service previously. read more

The owner Eli does a good job going above and beyond to take care of the cars when you bring them in. Sometimes he is too busy because it will take me a few tries for him to finally service the car. Sometimes I will go to the station and he will say come another day because he is too busy. When he does take the car however, he does a great job. He is very detailed and I trust his work! The phone doesn't work as provided online and on his business card, but once again, he is so busy that you really have to go in and ask if he has time. If you can get him to service your car, you will be in good hands. read more

Talk about an honest, hard-working business! The owner, Elias, is a brilliant and kind man originally from Lebanon (where it's my understanding he worked as some type of physicist) who will do anything to help out his customers. All of his customers are loyal to him for good reason-- he never overcharges and does such a great job that in the six years we've known him, and five cars my family has taken to him, we've never had to have any of his work redone and that's saying something. I came here because of all the positive reviews from previous Yelpers. I know nothing about cars, so it was important to find a mechanic who was honest. And boy this guy is. He let me know exactly what needed to be done and what didn't. He gave me a price range to tighten one of the belts, and asked me to return the next morning. The next morning, he fixed it pretty quickly and he asked me what price he had told me. I told him the same price range, and he picked the low number of the range to charge me. He is extremely nice, helpful, honest -- and my car runs great! Highly recommend. read more

Elias is an amazing person as well as a kind and honest mechanic. That is very rare in his line of work and as a young woman who is often taken advantage of in these situations, it is very refreshing and stress free. I have an old jeep wrangler so my vehicle is often in his hands and he ALWAYS takes the best care of my jeep quickly and at an amazing price. You will not be disappointed with his services. I had been going to Joe's for some time and was very happy...even though my car always smells of cigarettes after bringing it in. However a few weeks ago I heard a weird sound and brought it in. I was returned my car and told a very vague response of "a plastic piece will need to be replaced and it was very expensive because it will have to come from a dealer." They didn't charge me and also told me they cleaned and lubricated a part. I continued to hear the sound and brought it back in and was told the same thing. A few weeks go by and I get my tires changed at Costco and they tell me my wheel bearing is shot and I need to have it replaced immediately. I had been driving weeks with a broken wheel bearing which is so dangerous. I am no longer a Joe's patron. I now use Patriot auto repair in Acton and am beyond happy! They had my car ready to go in the same day and my car did not smell of cigarettes. read more

Eli was great. He diagnosed our 2006 Honda Accord engine as toast (no surprise, it had 180k miles on it and had skipped links on the timing chain) and suggested a used engine as the best way to solve it. He put in the "new" engine and clutch, along with new front axles and brakes. Car now runs great. The only down side was that it took a bit longer than estimated. But given his low price and high quality, I don't mind waiting a few days to get the job done right. read more

I live on the other side of town, and I go out of my way to fill up there and service both my vehicles.
