Rafael did an excellent job with some stucco repairs that I needed done (I had cracks running down the outside wall of my house). Before hiring him, I did a competitive analysis with another vendor and he came out more price competitive. Aside from that, he was quicker to respond, explained his process and was very professional, commercially with his quoting system. I hired Alliance Plastering Services to work on an exterior wall 25 ft long x 4.5 ft high. The job involved removing the crumbling brick facade, then rebuilding the wall with new waterproofing, stucco weep screed, and new scratch and brown coat. From day one, my interactions with Rafael were very positive. After an on-site meeting, we continued to discuss my project over emails and texts. He was very detailed and raised his concerns about the underlying integrity of the old stucco behind the brick, as well as achieving an exact match to the existing stucco. When it came to the work itself, I was very pleased with his work ethics of starting on time. He even showed up an hour earlier to avoid the traffic and waited to start at the appointed time of 8 am. What a guy! His work also had to pass City inspections. It was a breeze - no problems at all. Rafael's bid was reasonable, and his work is excellent. He is pleasant, honest and professional. When Rafael says no job too small, he means it. I'm a recent homeowner and did not like how the stucco looked on the side of the house. I reached out to Rafael and received a quick response. He was on site the next day and the following weekend (I work during the weekdays) he was able to fix the stucco on my wall. This job probably took him 30 minutes, but it looks like he spent hours on it. That's how awesome he is. He was very honest and reasonably priced. I had a wall on the front side of my house that had a bad do-it-yourself stucco job from the previous owner, and there were holes poked all the way through the moisture barrier, which was bringing moisture inside my walls and warping my hardwood floors. Rafael gave me a fair estimate for demo of that whole wall (about 24'x4'), flushing and weep screed on bottom, new moisture barrier, new chicken wire, and new stucco matching the other stucco of my house and it looks awesome. He was estimating 2-3 days and it only took a day & a half. Very professional, cleaned up all demo, and end result looks great. Rafael, a licensed contractor, was highly communicative on my large patch Job for my client. As a GC I am very protective and dedicated to my clients projects. So I am choosy with my subcontractors. Quality can be hard to find but worth the wait. All the stucco subs were either too busy or there response was weak. Rafael responded quickly, listened carefully and came by often, showing his focus and dedication. But he is also very experienced too. Usually patch jobs are not as simple to estimate as new construction and he did not give me a firm price in the initial assessment. That means he is careful not to be too quick just to "get the job" and showed me he cares about me and my customer and the quality and DOING IT RIGHT. His costs were also very reasonable for the scope of work especially compared to other stucco companies. For my full experience with Alliance Plastering it was 5 stars from start to finish.
