They first and foremost keep petitioning to delete my review. They botched a sink repair that I ended up having another company actually finish the work. They then did not want to refund me or reimburse me. Jean is rude and not very transparent. Neither is Kelly, they both don't truly care about the work they do, just how much extra they can upcharge you for mediocre to moderate service. I will never use someone who charges $400.00 to install a sink that I bought, only to mess it up and I have to then get another company to do so. I have used Alliance Plumbing in the past for a re-route and re-pipe so they were the FIRST people to call when I awoke to noises I determined were coming from my attic. I called Jean and she lined up Augustin Villa to come and diagnose the situation. Lucky for me it was only air that had somehow entered my line and was making one of my lines bang on the beams and framework! And he even showed me how to remedy myself if this was ever to happen again. While he was here I asked him some questions about my water heater purchased in 2008. He gave me a quote, and was able to install a new one right away and educated me on the unit. I am super pleased. The plumber that was sent out his name is "Blue "did a great job fixing a leaking gas line at the meter. He was very professional courteous I could not say enough good things about Blue. Had a water leak in the front yard at the meter so it ended up being my problem rather than the city's to fix. Called Alliance Plumbing and they had someone out here within 30 mins. Nick was a great representative for their company, he explained where the problem was and gave me some options on fixing it. One was to just replace the part that was broke or I could get the whole line replaced. Went with option one since that cost was significantly lower. Nick was helpful explaining the process of the job and made the fix quickly even tho he got hit with some rain while he was working. If Alliance Plumbing Services has other workers like Nick, then this company should be around for a very long time, he's the type of employee all companies strive to have on their staff. Initially I was impressed, they were quick to respond and completed the work quickly (the one start). But the bill was another matter! I thought I was given a quote before the work was started but apparently the estimate was the bill!! I was shocked because he was there only 45 minutes to replace a piece of pipe and was surprised when he told me the cost stands as is, so I called the office and they told me the same. I asked for a break out of the bill....labor, materials, etc....and the response was, "their system doesn't do that"....this is the first contractor I worked with that does this! Be aware, if you are not concerned with cost just quick response, this is your company. Pros: Carl proved to be a honest, caring professional. The work was performed quickly and he cleaned up around the site that wasn't required of him to do. He listened to my concerns and attempted to find the problems as best he could. My family and I felt very safe with him in our home. So far, the work appears to be quality work. The problem is the work done I paid 404.00. I needed the leak stopped NOW, so I authorized the work and paid the bill. I had a galvanized tee in my attic that was leaking; The water was dripping on to my upper bathroom ceiling. The response time was great because it needed to get done. These guys have saved me a couple of times. The first time was to repair damage done by another area plumbing company and then do the job that was supposed to have been done the first time. Alliance clearly had more knowledge and courtesy than their competitor. The second time was to correct a deficiency on a home inspection report that I needed fixed quickly. For a non-emergency repair they were still able to fit me in in very short order and fix the problem. They are upfront and honest about the job and always professional. Lost star was not for Matt or quality of service. Very expensive service ($224 with 15% discount), sometimes it's worth it to get it done right. Was scheduled as first call of AM and got bumped by a half hour, but was given an hour plus notice so I knew not to expect them. Guessing there was an emergency call.
