Given that our 3 kids are all in college, we drive what I've come to call our "fleet of used cars". Each one has over 200K miles on it, including one with 300K+. We require honest, reasonable support to help us keep our vehicles roadworthy, and Dexter (& Randy) have helped us do this for ~15 years. The original referral to go to Alliance came from someone in our neighborhood. I must give Dexter credit for his approach, as he understands the pressures of family finances, and always lets us know whether recommended repairs are needed right away (for safety reasons), or can be delayed. The only things not offered by Alliance are tire service and weekend hours, but the shop has a comfortable, private customer waiting area with fast WIFI, so I can work while I wait. Some shops want to cherry pick the work they want to do, but Dexter & Randy have done anything I've asked them to do.
