I have been having problem after problem with my car. I had a blown tire, which led to me getting all four replaced. That went fine but since then, I had started to hear a clanking in my back left tire and a whirring noise in the back right. I took my car back into the shop where I had them repaired because I felt it was odd a week after repairing them that I started hearing these noises. They found a loose tire pressure sensor just flying around in the back left tire... but didn't notice anything with the right. I drove across the parking lot and the clanking was gone on the left but the right still sounded horrible. I stopped and searched for a nearby reliable mechanic. I found Ming's with an almost perfect 5 stars and read some reviews from some OTP Elites and knew they were a great place! I drove 10 min down the street here and they immediately were able to help me and at least take a look. I simply explained the problem and they already had a hunch as to what it may be. They took it for a test drive and brought it in and checked it out. Unfortunately, they found the problem was with the differential which isn't something they can rebuild. They sent me down the street to get it looked at and get an estimate. I know nothing about cars, so I asked what kind of price rang he might guess that we'd be in for rebuilding a differential. He was like uhh.. because of course didn't want to say a number since he wasn't quoting me, but I had no idea if that's a 50$ fix, 100$ fix, or 1,000$+. He said probably around 1,500. I took it down the street and they weren't able to look at it right away, so I am still waiting for it to get checked out, but they also said I'm looking at 1,200-2,000$. I really appreciate the quick service here and them helping me find the problem. Even though they weren't able to repair it, they had a great recommendation for a place down the street and helped me put it in my gps. They also didn't charge me anything! Even though my visit was quick they were extremely helpful. The news wasn't great but I appreciate their welcoming staff and very helpful recommendation and at least confirming that there was in fact an issue! Will definitely be back here for future needs!

It's just this lot off of Buford Highway that honestly doesn't look visually appealing from the road. A small lot with a bunch of cars randomly parked- no clear parking spots, the entrance of the building is off to the side. We dropped our car off and didn't receive a call or an estimate the rest of the day. We figured they were just busy given all the cars in the lot. That gave us more reassurance that so many cars were there. However, first thing the next morning we received a call letting us know what to expect in terms of cost, what was wrong, and our options. They were very honest, explained everything thoroughly, AND best of all, did not try to push anything on us. We were given the cost estimate to rebuild our transmission with new parts or get a used transmission. They gave us recommendations and did not push the more expensive option on us. We opted for the used transmission, which we were told would take 1-2 days for the part to arrive. We assumed we wouldn't get the car back until the next week. The very next day we were called and told the car would be ready in 2 days. Much much faster than anticipated. They offered to replace the clutch for us too, which we declined and they didn't try to push it on us. The next day, we were updated on everything, and we decided to go ahead and replace the clutch. Despite this, the car STILL finished before the anticipated time. When I picked up the car, we were informed that he fixed another part for us and refilled the coolant for no charge, the transmission has a 6 month warranty, and lastly, I mentioned a discount on the website for $100 which he happily applied to our bill. The car drives amazingly. The clutch feels great. The transmission works perfectly. Shifting gears has never been easier. We are so pleased with the work, the speed, price, and how thorough the communication was. Trust the reviews and take your car here for any transmission needs.

We had to call every few days to get an update or we would hear nothing. We finally got the car back after about 2 1/2 weeks. It seemed to run fine. After a few months, however, we were still having transmission issues and were provided diagnostic codes when we took it to a near by auto part store. Fine. It's under warranty. We take the car back to the shop. Our vehicle sat at the shop for legitimately 1.5 weeks with little to no calls or updates. We finally retrieved our car without our warranty repairs as we were given excuses about how short staffed they were and how someone had jury duty, blah, blah, blah. Meanwhile, we're renting cars, taking Lyfts, Ubers, etc... all while the car is just sitting there. Simply said, this shop does not honor their warranty or at least not with any urgency at all. If you have 100 years to wait.. then maybe your experience could be different.

When I called them, they casually told me they are under "new management" and that I need to take my car somewhere else. They took $450 of my hard-earned money for a temporary, lazy fix (just tape on a loose wire!), and now they refuse to stand behind their previous work or help me out.I feel completely robbed. Do not waste your time or money going to this shop. They do not care about fixing your car or being honest with customers.

The Jeep passed Emission Testing a week later (yeah!) and is running well. We still "heard a noise" and brought it back for another inspection. The Wright Team inspected the Jeep and determined that an inexpensive repair by the former owner (strut assembly) was causing the noise. They determined it was not a safety issue and advised we could wait, or repair. I appreciated their honesty as my goal is to provide my youngest daughter with a safe vehicle to use in College. Wright could easily have told me "it's a safety issue" and I would have paid for the repair but they were honest, and they have earned my business for many, many years. When I was shopping for a car, I brought a vehicle in for a general inspection. I scheduled the day beforehand, and although I was advised that it would be better to bring the vehicle in first thing in the morning, I was unable to do so because I couldn't get ahold of it until noon. I made the receptionist aware of this, and he scheduled my appointment for the afternoon. I brought the vehicle in at the agreed time the following day and called an hour and a half later for a simple ETA on the inspection. I was not rude or aggressive in any way, yet the owner David took it upon himself to rudely tell me that he had not looked at it, would get to it when he could, and that this wouldn't have happened if I had just bought it in first thing in the morning, even though I made it clear to the receptionist a day beforehand that I wouldn't have the vehicle that early. Heated and irrational, I decided to leave a two-star review on Google about David's rudeness. Admittedly, this was not a wise decision, but at the same time, how could I have known that he keeps a sharp eye out for bad reviews when he's supposedly swamped with work? Sure enough, I get a call from him demanding that I take it down. I refused and decided to just go get my car, ignoring the angry, long-winded text he sent me, in which he said he would no longer do any of the non-existent repairs on a vehicle I had brought in for a general inspection. When I arrived at the shop, he refused to give up my keys, physically holding on to them and actually snatching them out of my reach when I tried to get them back. I could have called the police since he legally had no right to withhold my vehicle, but I had more pressing matters to attend to. He gave up the keys and glared at me as I left, leaving me in absolute awe of the unprofessionalism I experienced. I regret writing that first review for sure, as it was purely reactionary, but if they had simply told me they were fully booked and could not accept my appointment, then none of this would have happened. David might be a great auto mechanic, judging by the many perfect reviews his company has, but it is clear to me that he becomes quite rude and aggressive towards customers whenever he's in the wrong. If you look at some of the other one-star reviews here and on Google and see how he replies to them, you'll see what I mean. Somehow, some way, it's always the customers' fault when something goes wrong. Never his.
