We cannot express our gratitude enough to Allie & Paws. Our dog was shipped to LA from overseas after 3 years of separation and by the time we received our dog by cargo Allie and Paws were closing. The dog was on the plane for more than 24 hours in a crate. So you can imagine the dog's condition and the smell. They took us in and spent 2 hours on him post their closing hours. I have 2 small dogs that I needed to bring in. I left a message through Yelp on Monday evening and they returned my call on Tuesday morning with an estimated quote. 1 regular grooming for my short haired Pug/Chihuahua Mix and 1 Grooming with Haircut for the Papillon Mix. They were able to accommodate me the same day. I brought them in and my dogs didn't seem nervous at all which was a good sign. They seemed relaxed and they took them to the back right away. They ask me what I wanted the cut to look like. I showed them and explain that I like when the cut is faded/blended into the body from the head to the body, not a blunt cut. He listened and I was happy with the outcome one. They estimated a 2-2.5 hour turn around and they called me in 1.5 hours to let me know they were ready. They both smelled so good! They were both so HAPPY when I picked them up. I will definitely be returning. Thank You for your great customer service and professionalism. read more

the lady made 3 of my pups nails bleed. i finally understand why people leave such crazy negative reviews to warn people. do not take your dog here to get their nails trimmed. they cut my dogs nails so short three of them bled! and the ladies didn't even apologize. my dog is really good, doesn't bark or bite, i was able to kind of see him through the tinted glass. then i had to hear him scream in pain and it was horrible. then to have the groomer hand him to me bleeding and got blood all over myself. that's what just happened to me. 7/12/24 at 4:30pm. no one even said sorry! instead they said "it was because he moved" ??? no. we were able to get our money back but i wish i could take back my pet getting hurt instead. we've taken him to get his nails cut so many times in the past and this has never happened!! they took him back and applied an anticoagulant to the one that was bleeding a lot so in the picture it just looks like dust. but you can see blood on the other two nails. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!! *i want to add that prior to this day we had a great experience with someone else who worked there. possibly the owner? my husband brought my dog in to get his nails trimmed and the lady told him she can't cut them too short because of his long "quick" and she did a great job. but the ladies who were working today didn't care at all about my dog and cut his nails way too short and were rude when i was rightfully upset about it. read more

This place is amazing! We rescued a dog today. We didn't know how bad he was neglected until we picked him up. I went into a panicked because he was so matted I knew he needed to be groomed asap. The poor dog couldn't even see. We called this place and the owner was so nice and made me feel so comfortable. She told me don't worry about it we're going to help him and get him looking brand new. They had to cut his hair short due to his hair being so matted but they took care of him with alot of patience and care due to the lack of human interaction he's probably hasn't had in awhile we didn't know how he was going to react towards the groomer but the whole team took such good care of him Thank you so much for helping us read more

My baby is so anxious and I was worried about taking her somewhere where she could possibly be locked up all day. I spoke with the owner over the phone and told her all about my worries and how I had previously done mobile grooming, sadly mobile groomers aren't entirely reliable and I needed an urgent cut as I felt she was getting matted. I brought her in first thing in the morning, I warned them again about her anxious behavior and they assured me no other clients were in yet. When I picked her up Luna was happily walking beside the groomer with zero sign of anxiety. Typically when I would pick her up from a groomer she would be anxious to get to me, and almost hard to handle on my own. But when I picked her up from Allie & Paws she was happy to see me but not anxiously awaiting me, In fact she looked like she could follow the groomer all day. I was amazed by her attitude and how happy and comfortable she appeared to be. I will absolutely be bring her back! Not to mention this is the first time I got her back that she wasn't completely shaven, she's a Maltese mix and has beautiful curly fur and often times due to her anxious habits the groomer has just shaved her making her look like a completely different dog.
