Allie is a fantastic hair stylist! She has a very warm and welcoming personality! She will totally listen to what you are trying to achieve and give you options on how to obtain what you ultimately want. Some hairstyles aren't feasible with all hair types and lengths and she takes the time to explain why one style will work better than another. When I first started going to her what made her stand apart was her thoroughness and professionalism. She contacted me through text a few days before my appointment and she basically did an interview with me to make sure she understood what I was trying to achieve. I had brown and blonde highlights and I wanted to be more brown than I was. I also wanted to fix an inverted bob. She asked to see pictures of my hair along with pictures of what I was trying to achieve. We texted a few times and at the end she knew what I wanted! The fear of going to a new stylist had completely diminished. Allie is great with color! She is such a fun person and asks exactly what you want so your not left in the dark,I'm very particular with my hair since I had a bad experience once and she made me feel so comfortable! Allie dyed my hair purple about 6 months ago. Since then we've touched it up but the color has maintained beautifully! She was able to get the color I wanted on the first try and it's lasted way longer than I expected. The process was quick and efficient. I'm writing this review based on my first experience at this salon, and let me tell you, it was a great one. I was looking for a new stylist and we all know how hard that search can be. A friend of mine recommended I go see Allie Tureaud. I loved her hair so naturally I took her advice and I'm so glad I did. First off, when I called to make an appointment, the girl who answered was super friendly, and patient as I tried to describe what I wanted with my hair. The salon is beautiful, big open spaces, full of light, and every staff member greeted me with a smile. Allie and I got to talking and clicked right away. She's so cute and funny! She also totally got the vibes I was going for and picked up on my style, which I find rare in people I just meet. I told her my whole list of things I wanted done, and she was honest with me telling me what would work, and what I might have to wait for. I like that as opposed to someone saying they can give you everything you want, and the results are nothing like you had in mind. We were talking and laughing the whole time which made the experience even better. She gave me advice and and tips on how to style my hair without her, based on my getting-ready style. I left the salon feeling super happy with not only my hair, but also super happy that I had met her, and found my new person and salon. Where do I even begin?? I have been going to Allie for about 3 years now. She has taken to from ice blonde to a natural balayage back to blonde. She is honest, kind and so good at what she does. She will take her time... one time I think we counted around 120 foils she had put in my hair to get that perfect blonde highlight I wanted... Allie saved my hair!
