After visiting 2 other medical supplies companies (Lincare and Rotech) and being completely let down and misinformed I am so grateful we found All-Med! Alfred quickly took care of us and exchanged our empty tanks for full ones! Saving our vacation and helping us avoid a medical emergency! Excellent service! Amazing customer care and I'm eternally grateful!!! Thank you!!!!

My experience with Angel at All Med Equip & Supplies Sales was unprofessional and frustrating…read more During our initial call, she told me my insurance would cover 75% of the cost and asked for my information. After I politely asked her not to call me "hon," her demeanor changed. She called me back to say my insurance wouldn't cover the equipment at all. I later learned from both my insurance company and my doctor's office that All Med hadn't even submitted a request for authorization. When I tried to resolve the issue with Angel, she was unprofessional, talked over me, and refused to let me speak to a manager or another employee. She even began yelling, accusing me of being rude after she had repeatedly interrupted me. Angel called me back to say she had submitted the authorization with a coworker and that my issues were a "misunderstanding" with my insurance company. I pointed out that this contradicted her earlier statement that no one else was there to help and that the change in her demeanor was not a misunderstanding, but a direct result of our previous conversation. In response, she hung up on me. I decided to take my business elsewhere and purchased the equipment for under $80 at Walmart. I will not be doing business with All Med Equip & Supplies Sales in the future.

By far, the WORST DME vendor we have ever had the displeasure of working with. This place is a…read morecomplete joke when it comes to customer service. They constantly redirect phone calls to other departments that just redirect you back to the original department. So it's a constant loop that eventually ends in being connected to a voicemail that is never checked. They are also the only vendor contracted with UHC AHCCCS plans. So many our patients don't have a choice but to endure the long wait times, unanswered phones calls, and cancelled orders. The intake reps you eventually speak with also illegally state at times that they are not accepting new patients - even though patients with UHC AHCCCS have no other alternative. Literally, not one. Keep in mind, if a vendor is contracted with a particular insurance company, they legally have to accept patients with that particular insurance. Now keep in mind, no amount of complaining online or over the phone will make any difference. What everyone needs to do is to go directly to your insurance to make the complaints. Get them involved because they will begin the investigations into why this company is not fulfilling their contractual obligations. But that's just the first step. Here are some other things that every patient, caregiver, or consumer can do. 1) Gather identifying company info such as National Provider ID (NPI) number and taxonomy. I'll make that part east for you. Here is all the identifying info for Preferred. NPI Number: 1386688414 Medicaid Identifier: 092545 Primary Taxonomy: 332B00000X Secondary Taxonomy: 332BX2000X 2) File a complaint with Medicare by calling 1-800-633-4227 3) File a complaint with the Arizona Medical Board by going to azmd.gov/Regulation/Regulation 4) File a complaint with the Arizona Attorney General by going to azag.gov/complaints/consumer. Or you can call them at (602) 542-5763 5) File a complaint with the Arizona Department of Insurance by calling (602) 364-2499. You can also email them at insurance.consumers@difi.az.gov I hope this helps. I'll leave the complete contact info for Preferred Homecare just in case anyone needs that. She started off nice until I explained my situation with my insurance with my employer, she then proceeded to tell me it was illegal like I already didn't know that. She seems like she was bothered by me calling, really lacked customer care and service. I was asking what my options were and all I got told was we will have to pick up the equipment due to no insurance. What happened to working with patients and giving a damn about care and others? I know the insurance isn't her problem, it is mine and so is my health but damn customer service could go a lot further in her line of work what happened to compassion and giving a shit about patients and their health. I've been proceeded to ask her. What are my options if my provider is wanting me to be on it she says I guess self-pay and then was rude. Giving me the amount. I then told her I would call back and speak to somebody else because of her poor customer service. The gentleman who originally brought my equipment to me was absolutely amazing so friendly, caring and compassionate. Maybe she should get some training from him.
