The greater last night was very friendly, and the store had so many items in every department. The produce looked very fresh, and the shelves were very well stocked in delicate freezer sections. The isles were clear and organized also well stocked with products. I couldn't believe how large the electronics center was, so many options and so many laptops and tablets and such. Everyone who we came in contact with was very friendly here, and we had plenty of parking as well.

The Standin' on the Corner Foundation has done an amazing job recreating the iconic Eagles song. For us, it was certainly worth the short 10-minute drive/detour from the interstate. You can make this a quick stop or take your time enjoying all the murals, great photo opportunities, and more that downtown Winslow has to offer. There is a historical railroad station, several historical buildings around the area, souvenir shops, and places to eat all around this location. This is a dog friendly attraction, dogs to be kept on a leash. Further down, there's the Winslow Bark Park located by the 9-11 Remembrance Garden also. As for restrooms, one of the souvenir shops had a restroom, and parking in the area was easy to find. So, go "Take it Easy" and enjoy "Standin' on a corner in Winslow Arizona." ;-)

A cute stop thru Route 66.... I was in Pine/Strawberry en route to Flagstaff. Somehow I missed the…read moreturn and ended up seeing signs to Winslow. So why not! It was fun to see the sights. I actually loved the big guitar more than the corner. I didn't take pics standing there but I did drive by a couple times. I saw other cute sights like a theater, post office. I wish I could have seen a grocery store as I was so thirsty but I prob wasn't in the right streets. Enjoy my photos!

This station was tended by two very fun, friendly and playful teens. What a nice change of pace...I got tired of sourpuss gas station attendants! It's been so long since I last paid cash for gas so I walked inside and asked if change is given back if our tank was full before the dollar amount was reached! They kids in the food mart said, "no, we keep the remainder cash as our tip!" DUH!!! I felt so stupid! lol! :P

Everything was well stocked in the entire store, and the produce was super fresh and well displayed! We weren't in here for long, but I can say that something triggered our allergies bad. For me it's typically mildew/mold that triggers me, so I'm not sure with it being an older store if they've got some of that going on, but it took all night for my allergy medicine to kick in. Again it's just an older building, so I'm not mad over it.I'm hoping one day they can do some slight renovations to update it and maybe clear whatever it is going on allergy wise there our male cashier was super friendly too, it was around 7pm maybe. I would definitely stop here again if I need to.

Opened up a bin to find unopened bags and bags of different kinds of potato chips!. See pic. Well, not surprising. Anyone who's conscious of Albertsons/Safeway knows that even in the 21st century, their stores throw away all kinds of perfectly good food. I've seen this in Boise, Williams, here and a few other stores. If you patronize them, you support this behavior.

Good prices on snacks and drinks. This is a tough town and crime is high, so try to avoid coming here after midnight because it's in the bad part of town, not that Winslow has a good part, so be careful at night.
