I came home last night to a wierd noise coming from the utility closet in the basement and found the floor very very wet! I shut off the water and gas to the water heater an started calling around to different plumbing companies. I called about five places for estimated and Alan had the best approximation on how much it would be to replace my water heater. Alan was able to come out the next morning and replace the water heater and he did so in a timely manner. He showed up on time to my house and had everything he needed in his truck ! which nice because I have worked with other people that have run out for parts two or three times. Alan worked very diligantly and even cleaned up the junk and dirt that was around the old water heater. After finishing he took the time to go over the installation that was done and how the new system worked. i had a couple of questions and he answered them immediately and even went into detail. I have to sat that i will always call Allied from now on for any plumbing needs that I have, which im hoping i dotn have any for a long time, but who knows. I just moved into a condo. My house appraiser said the hot water heater really needed to be replaced soon, it was 15 years old. We built that into the closing, and then I set about searching for someone to do the work. My realtor gave me a name, and the appraiser gave me several. One of the people I contacted had just started a job and wouldn't be available for three weeks. One responded, but then suddenly stopped answering questions--he'd call me back but not leave a message. Apparently if you're trying to be proactive about replacing a water heater, you don't get a lot of attention. I, however, really didn't want to risk it breaking and possibly flooding my condo. After submitting a home warranty claim, I was pleased that Alan called me, communicated with the utmost courtesy, scheduled a convenient appointment, then arrived on time. He was patient and engaging, despite my seemingly endless stream of questions about the issue. He repaired the leak in our water supply system efficiently and professionally. Alan's work and the way he carried it out provided enough reason to write this review. But to add goodness to goodness, I am pleased to say that Alan also connected with my home warranty company to explain and clarify the report of the service call. After receiving the completed work report, the warranty company determined that they would NOT cover the claim. But Alan graciously connected with them, explained the full scope of the work, and convinced them that the claim was within their parameters of coverage. I wish that I could give more then 5 stars because Alan deserves way more! When the hot water heater went down at my coffee shop and and Roto-tooter told me that they would not be able to come out 5 hours past the time they said they said they would! I called every repair service that would answer and luckily I connected with Alan and Allied. It was 7:30 and he was headed up to evergreen to do a job but he said he could help me out after. And he sure did! More then an hour after his closing time posted on this site Allen showed up and my business and made quick work of the problem. I met Alan though my home warranty company in 2017. Before Alan, several plumbers came to my house to fix the leak between dish washer and basement. None of them could figure out. He was the only one could figure out and fixed the issue right away. Alan is really patient, and he listens what his client says. After 2 years later, I had a pipe noise issue. This time, my home warranty was not covered. I asked my friend's husband and my husband's friend who are plumber. They could not come over to fix the issue. So I called Alan. I know his company will fix the issue properly, and I will not see a crazy bill from him. His staff came to my house and fixed the issue same day. He is really nice and professional. 6 stars if I could. Very friendly (helped me map out all the valves), extremely knowledgable and thorough. Cost was more reasonable than I expected. We have an unusual setup with a commercial boiler running water to our fan for heat and pipes running all different directions. We've had so many plumbers take one look and run away. For our current issue, two asked for pictures and then didn't call back. We were told that it was discontinued and we'd have to settle for something less powerful. Alan went out of his way to find us a replacement. He got us an estimate within an hour (!), locked in a supplier and provided three different options for us a day later, and was set to work replacing our system two days later!! Stayed late to finish the job. Seriously, we called Tuesday morning and have a finished boiler (hot water heater) installed Thursday night. Can't heap on enough praise! read more

We ended up calling this company because our water heater started to leak earlier today. I spoke with Alan and he seemed very knowledgeable and polite right off the bat just from speaking with him over the phone. Our furnace stopped working on the day before a holiday. Allied Services was recommended to us by our home warranty company and was in contact within an hour of our call!
