They were supposed to call before they did the work. They didn't. They showed up at 7:45am unannounced. We were trying to get the Georgia Power rebate. Can you guess? I never got the opportunity to work with Woodman Insulation so I cannot comment on the quality of…read moretheir workmanship, only on the frustrating experience of simply trying to get a quote. I wanted to get insulation installed in my attic, and a contractor that I use regularly and highly trust recommended Woodman so I called and scheduled an appointment to get an estimate. The estimator, Bennett, came out on time, took the necessary measurements, explained to me what their general recommendation is for insulation compared to the basic requirements, and advised that he would email me a quote by the next morning. When I hadn't received an email by the following afternoon, I called him to make sure he got my email address right. He explained that he had the quote ready for me, but that he was concerned about whether the truck would be able to navigate my long, narrow driveway. I explained to him that we'd recently renovated the house and large work trucks and delivery trucks were able to get up and down it without an issue, but he said he wanted to check on it and that I would have the estimate by the following morning (a Friday). By Monday I still had not gotten anything, so I called the office. The operator advised me to call Bennett directly again, so I did. He told me he was "pulling up to the office right now" to check on the truck situation and I would have the quote shortly. THREE more days went by without an email. I called Bennett again and left a voicemail, but he did not call me back. I called the office again and explained that I had been waiting over a week for an estimate and still had not gotten one. The operator was very sympathetic and told me that someone would call me back that day. No one did. The operator called me the following day to see if I had heard from anyone and when I told her I had not, she explained that Bennett was no longer employed with the company and that another rep, Jesse, would be reaching out to me. Jesse called me shortly thereafter and explained that unfortunately, they did not have any of Bennett's notes so they would have to come back out to take new measurements for the estimate. Since it was getting close to the holidays by this time, we scheduled the appointment for 10AM on January 5th. I then told Jesse that Bennett had been concerned about the driveway and he said he would assess it when he came out. Fast forward to January 5th - 10:45AM rolls around and I have not heard from Jesse. I called the office again and explained that now I have been trying to get an estimate from them for nearly a month and now the estimator has no-showed. The operator placed me on hold to reach out to Jesse, then came back and told me that we had not scheduled an appointment. I explained that we had, and that it was for that day, as I had taken notes from our conversation. She told me Jesse would call me directly. When Jesse did call me, he was immediately on the defensive, claiming that we did not make an appointment since he had to look into the driveway situation. I reminded him that we had made the appointment before I even mentioned the driveway, and he said he would look at it when he came out here. He then offered a fake apology ("Sorry if I miscommunicated, but..") and proceeded to go on and on about how far away my home was from their office and how inconvenient it was for them to get out there (I am in Ellenwood, they are on the north side). At no point in any of my prior communications with this company did anyone mention that Ellenwood was outside of their service area. Jesse then told me he was going to consult with Jeff, the owner, and call me back. When he did, he explained that given the distance and my driveway (which no one still employed with the company had actually bothered to look at) they would not be able to come out and give me a quote. In summary, I highly recommend Woodman if you are interested in wasting a month of your life, but not if you actually want to get any service.

IF YOU NEED insulation services, call Insulation Over Atlanta!…read more Brian is very responsive throughout the estimate and delivery process and his crew is the best! We contacted Brian for a spray foam estimate in our attic spaces. Brian laser measured the spaces, inspected the structure, and walked us through the process. After reviewing quotes from other companies, we chose Insulation over Atlanta. They were not the lowest price, or the highest price, but definitely the BEST value without the attitude or the BS! On installation day, Brian and his crew were on-site on time and got to work. Brian's crew; Alfredo, Antonio, and Alex (Triple A Plus++) are awesome! We put down some protective coverings the night before and they came in and double covered their work areas. AMAZING! They were very respectful and courteous of the property and DID NOT damage a single thing. No marks on the walls, etc. The put protection and covering where and when needed which was a concern for us - we just painted the interior and had new floors installed! Also, they are extremely clean! When they were done in one area, one was cleaning while the other two were moving hoses and spaying foam. During the insulation removal process (the old stuff) they were very particular to get it all out. The teamwork with this group is awesome! The finished spaces are almost move in ready! The bottom line is - if you're considering spray foam and/or radiant barrier for your home, contact Brian and Insulation over Atlanta for an estimate and tell him you saw this review. You'll be glad you did!

We had 6 companies give us estimates for the work, including Brian. Brian's estimate seemed the most thorough and gave us the most realistic diagnosis of the space. When we decided to work with Brian, he was able to get us on the schedule very quickly. His team showed up on time and worked diligently the entire day to get the job done. They were courteous, answered all our questions and were careful moving around their equipment in our home. Our project was a two step process but it was all completed over a weekend and by Monday evening the attic was ready for storage. It now remains at a temperature within 10-15 degrees of the rest of the home. Brian has been receptive on all follow up questions and requests and was always willing to go the extra step to make sure we were satisfied. I highly recommend his company for your insulation needs!

I am no plumber, but these folks are, and they were gracious with their time, and explained it all, and provide options, pros vs cons, best practices, and did not once pressure me to make a decision. Mark, Eddy, and Mike did a superb job. They had no bias, and gave me all the facts and options to make my own decision. At the end of the day, I feel like I can trust them. Real pros. Arrived when they said they would, did what they promise and even more. Fantastic experience. If you want a plumber you can trust.. look no further.

I requested TE to come out and diagnose why an existing circuit was not getting power. Instead of…read morejust fixing the circuit, I agreed to a new panel for my house since it was 60 years old. The price I was quoted was over 12k. I felt the electrician on my job, Jason S. was very high pressure in his tactics and told me I needed to decide that day, or lose potential discounts. I had also been without a kitchen for over 30 days, so I agreed to the work. The next day Jason and an apprentice come out to start the job. They take one whole day to remove and replace the new panel, no problem. Here is where it goes downhill. On the second day of work, Jason and another apprentice came out and instead of prioritizing the circuit I hired him for, they start installing the hardwired smoke detectors Dekalb county allegedly requires. This took all day! By about 4 pm, I asked if he was going to get the outlet done so I could use my dishwasher and he replied "I guess if I stay here all night". I said I guess thats what you got to do then, and they were here til nearly 8 pm. Then he made several other unprofessional comments about staying late. Jason never came back to my job. A new Electrician came out on Monday, Jason said he had an emergency job. The part where they earned this rating comes when I found out my pool motor circuit was not working on the new GFCI circuit. I explained to them it originally was on a two pole circuit and now they had it on two single poles. It was drawing 240v and they had the model number and should have researched the wiring on their own as professionals. Rather than listen to me, I had to wait all day for the new electrician (with Jason on the phone) come up with a new quote to fix which included trenching up and re-wiring my entire pool, ANOTHER 5 THOUSAND DOLLARS! I was livid. I started looking into this and it turns out I was right, it just needed a 2 pole GFCI. I talked to the second electrician the next day and told him I want to talk to a supervisor or manager. I got a call later in the day from Jeffrey who was going to look into it and get back to me the same day. He did not. He did call me the next morning and agreed to send one of his best guys out to install a 2 pole and see if that solves the problem. Well guess what, it did! And, I didn't have to pay another 5K. I expected to hear back from Jeffrey again to ensure the job was to my satisfaction as you should on a service recovery. I did not. I feel lied to, and that I was robbed and almost taken needlessly for thousands more, had I not done my research which should not be necessary as a layperson. I understand from TE employees the Electricians control the cost, and they get a commission from it. Unfortunately, I paid for an electricians summer vacation because I trusted him. Luis L and Nathan the electricians at TE, thank you! Micah, Gavin, Phillip the apprentices, thank you too! Jeffrey I thank you for doing the minimum by ensuring what I paid for was completed. Jason, no thank you at all. You've sowed distrust in professionals and your industry with your practices.
