The technician arrived on time, looked at my issue and repaired the dryer with parts he had with him. The price was comparable to other service quotes , without an upcharge for same day service. Others wanted to charge me a diagnostic fee and then if I decided to go with them, they would reduce the diagnostic fee. But after I explained to Mark what my dryer was doing, he told me exactly what it could be and how much it would cost. Mark did not cover the area I live at, but he was willing to come by me and repair my dryer. Mark used to be a technician at Sears, so I felt very comfortable with him because I had purchased my Electrolux machines from Sears in 2010. He was very friendly and knew what he was doing. It took time to take my dryer apart to get to where the ignitor was. He replaced it with a new one and assembled everything back the way it was. I later received a text stating the repair cost would be $625.00 and that Nicor Solutions/Oncourse (my appliance warranty plan, for which I pay a monthly fee) would cover only $500.00 leaving a balance of $125.00 that I would have to pay out of pocket. The alternative was to deem the dishwasher unrepairable and purchase a replacement unit, with the warranty company contributing $500.00 toward the new dishwasher. Since my Bosch dishwasher was approximately seven years old, I chose to pay the $125.00. April 13, 2026 (return visit): The same technician returned to my home without any parts. Upon entering, he stated that we were supposed to pull the dishwasher out for easy access. We were never told to do this, and as a customer, I should not be expected to move the appliance for repairs. Frustrated by the situation, I contacted the company and spoke with Greg. Greg, the owner, was unprofessional, condescending, and arrogant when I called to ask why we were expected to move the dishwasher for repair. After that rude interaction, I informed him that I would be contacting Nicor Solutions/Oncourse to cancel the service order. Through Nicor Solutions/Oncourse, I requested a second opinion. The other company, "One Stop Appliance", corrected the issue with my dishwasher.
