I love this gym but everything is always broken... Today I…read moregot on my first treadmill and it was unplugged, easy fix? Sure. Before plugging it in I move to another and the screen wasn't working. Okay moving on through my workout 1st stationary bike, screen broken. Moved to gym floor & started the circuit machines - only 1 of 6 not working today. Better than usual I suppose. Workout completed One of my favorite things about this gym is the recover area, so I went to do the leg compression. 1st set (size small) air leak in zone 1. Next set (size small) air leak zone 1. Sitting in 3rd chair down, decide I'll just stick with this set and skip zone one but the chair is broken and won't lean back at all. Decide if I am going to switch chairs at this point I should grab another set but then I was informed the other two sets left out all had leaks too. So I do my 10 minutes with leaks and sitting up straight. Swing by the front desk because I've been a member for over a year and this is pretty much a regular visit here. Once during a GTX class the front plate of the treadmill just fell off while the girl next to me was on it. All we could do was laugh Hate to complain but decide it's time to say something although I've heard from other members it won't change anything... I give it a shot. I report all the items while my husband orders us two protein shakes (about $21) and she said I can file a concern on the app or she can relay the message Monday. I have no intention of figuring out how to report each thing on the app, I honestly don't care that much because we can always switch gyms but I thought I'd give a heads up to anyone considering joining. I do love lots of things about this gym but it's not seeming to be worth the price tag currently. Some pros include the private sauna's in each bathroom and their additional coed saunas by the pool. The pool area in general is awesome, the kids love the slide and the snack bar (not outrageous but priced like you are at a beach club) They do have an adequate amount of equipment, so even with a bunch of broken things I can usually find enough other things to do to complete my workout. Large parking lot and great location.

Josh is the owner/trainer and offers Boot Camp classes held out of Alpha Gymnastics gym before they open. As of now, the classes are at 6:30A Wed and 7:30A Sat(OUCH) and I've attended one of each the past week. 6-8 students on Wed and 10-15 Sat. About 60-70% women so a nice mix for a fitness class. It's like high school gym class on crack but Josh is SUPER-FANTASTIC and tries to push you to your limit while providing alternatives to people with injuries. He has such creative exercises and makes it a fun time. After Wednesday's class, my abs and inner thighs knew I did a HARD workout. The gym is extremely hard to find, even with 2 GPS's so make sure you speak with Josh beforehand about directions if you plan to check it out. I was driving around in the dark for 20 minutes thinking I'd have to return home without my workout. Would have killed me so I kept looking til I ended up going through an alley that ended up being the right way.

75% improvement in squat depth in less than an hour!…read more Owner Jesse knows his stuff! I came in looking to improve my squat technique and depth and was blown away by the results achieved in a single session. I'd thought my ankles were the problem, but he accurately pinpointed "frozen" SI after a quick visual test and brief hands-on exam. I'm needle-phobic so had never tried acupuncture or dry needling before. Jesse was deft, gentle and professional throughout the procedure. I won't say I enjoyed it, but the discomfort was entirely manageable and the results were amazing! In under an hour, he achieved more improvement than I've managed in 5 years of frustrated effort! I compete kettlebell sport and lack of mobility has been holding me back - excited about the possibility for growth in strength and stability that this may unlock! My teenaged son also had beginner powerlifting workouts with Jesse and Matt - both were patient, encouraging and made sure he learned proper technique. The gym atmosphere is family friendly - a rare find among weightlifting gyms. We look forward to attending classes again once the Covid-19 restrictions are lifted!
