AVOID ALL SPARK ELECTRIC - POOR DIAGNOSIS, MISLEADING REPORTING, AND UNRESOLVED ELECTRICAL ISSUES I had a very disappointing experience with All Spark Electric through First American Home Warranty. On 06/17/2026, I submitted a service request for issues involving ceiling fans, switches, and electrical outlets. All Spark Electric was assigned to visit my home on 06/20/2026. During the first visit, the Lead Electrician, James Robinson did not appear to perform a thorough diagnosis of the electrical issues. In my opinion, he exaggerated the scope of the work required, which ultimately resulted in my ceiling fans and switches being denied warranty coverage. He also stated that he needed to return with parts to repair one of the electrical outlets. James Robinson returned on 06/26/2026, but the outlet was still not repaired. During both visits, he performed very limited troubleshooting and advised that an entirely new wire would need to be run from another outlet. He also suggested performing work outside of the warranty at my expense, even though I believed the issue should have been covered. What concerned me most was that the information later reported to the warranty company did not match what I observed during the service visits. James Robinson reported that the outlet was not a GFCI outlet, even though it clearly was. I provided photographic proof of this to First American Home Warranty. To my knowledge, this conclusion was made without properly documenting or photographing the outlet. Another issue was that James Robinson arrived without a ladder, despite being dispatched to diagnose ceiling fan issues. This raised concerns about how thoroughly the inspection could be completed. As of 06/29/2026, after two service visits, none of the reported electrical issues had been resolved. Instead, I experienced delays, conflicting information, and an unresolved warranty claim. Based on my experience, James Robinson did not perform a thorough diagnosis, exaggerated the amount of work required, attempted to charge for work outside the warranty, and provided information to the warranty company that I believe was inaccurate and inconsistent with what I observed. In my opinion, his work ethic appeared lacking, and I found his assessment and reporting to be misleading. I cannot recommend All Spark Electric based on my experience. I found the service to be unprofessional, the diagnosis to be inaccurate, and the overall handling of my claim to be extremely frustrating. I would recommend that homeowners carefully document all interactions, take photos of the work area, and seek a second opinion if they believe the diagnosis or warranty determination is incorrect. read more

The electricity was not working in my main bedroom both light fixtures and outlets. I had a different electrician service call and he could not find the problem. James diligently and thoughtfully checked everything the first electrician checked and then checked all the smoke detectors. He determined the problem was caused by a recently changed smoke detector In another bedroom. He connected it correctly and the power returned. James was very kind besides being an experienced technician. I appreciate his expertise and determination in solving a problem that another electrician could not solve. When our oven stopped working in our new house, we thought it would be a straightforward fix. It wasn't. Our home warranty first sent out an appliance repair technician who did some testing and quickly realized the oven wasn't receiving the proper voltage. At that point they stopped working on it and recommended an electrician. The next electrician who came out from another company looked at the situation for about four minutes and declared that the entire house would need to be rewired because he "wouldn't be able to figure out the problem." That didn't sit right with me. We had proper voltage leaving the breaker and incorrect voltage arriving at the oven -- clearly something was happening in between. After expressing our frustration to the warranty company, they finally connected us with AllSpark Electric, and James came out to help. James had been stuck on another job until about 8pm that night, but he called ahead to make sure we were still okay with him coming over. That level of communication already stood out. From the moment he arrived, he approached the problem calmly and methodically. Instead of jumping to conclusions, he traced the circuit step by step to find exactly where the voltage drop was occurring. Not only did he identify the root cause and fix the issue, but he also pointed out a few other opportunities to improve our electrical setup overall. James has an engineering background, and it really shows. He was the first electrician we spoke with who clearly understood the physics behind what was happening and could diagnose the problem logically and efficiently. At the same time, he didn't overwhelm us with technical details unless we asked -- he made everything approachable and easy to understand. He was calm, thoughtful, and genuinely seemed to enjoy solving the problem. After three other sets of eyes and a lot of frustration, James ended up being our electrical superhero. This visit from James was pretty eye opening. He really new what he was talking about and what got the job done pretty fast. We had 2 other technicians come out before just to tell us the problem is much bigger than what it actually was. James came in and looked at our lightbulbs and was able to recognize that they were light WiFi connecting bulbs. As for the outlets he was able to provide all the information about what switches control certain outlets. He was solved the bathroom lights problem. Just needs a reset on the outlet. I'm not big on writing reviews but I had to make an exception today. Called my home warranty company First American who contracted AllSparks Electric Inc. I received a call the next morning from Jackie who was fantastic. She originally gave me a service date for a week out but after I pleaded with her for same day service she was able to work something out and scheduled the same day between 2-7pm. Received a call from James who I found out owns the company. He came early around 4pm and fixed my issue I was having with two of my tripped breakers. He later educated me in simple terms I could understand on how my kitchen is designed regarding the load zones so I would not experience future problems especially with power hungry appliances. One other note..I'm very big on cleanliness and ask James if he had shoe coverings before he came inside my home and he was already prepared with them in his hands. You don't know how many times I've had contractors come to my home to fix something or give an estimate and they don't have foot coverings or other materials to protect my floors.
