Great burgers and grilled chicken salad is my favorite. Honey mustard dressing is home made. So good

I had a delicious barbecue chicken sandwich. The The season fries were yummy too. Definitely a reliable place to eat just about anything.

They have really good food and are very nice to their customers. I live 2 blocks behind this restaurant and eat there often.

This is a great stop for a morning breakfast. I usually get a plain biscuit with grape jam but…read morethey have a huge breakfast menu. The employees aren't very friendly tho and could probably use some customer service training.

Someone help me with this. I was just at the Jacks Restaurant in Hueytown. After placing my order…read moreand waiting for my food I noticed an employee who was in the back area where the food was being prepared appeared to have open sores or wounds of some sort that were on both hands and wrists. She was not wearing any protective hand gear and her wounds were not bandaged. I asked the cashier if a manager was there and if she noticed that one of the employees who was in the food preparation area, office area, cashier areas was there with open sores and wounds on both hands. The cashier and the female manager acknowledged that they were aware and that the General manager was aware as well. At that point I asked to speak with the General Manager. While waiting for the General manager to speak with me I asked and received a refund for my order. Now when it comes to health code violations or at a minimum what should be allowed when food handling and preparation is involved, this type of behavior or activity surely shouldn't be allowed or condoned. When the General came to speak with me. I asked him if he knew that there was an employee working in the food preparation, cash register and then the office area who had open sores or wounds that were not bandaged and the employee didn't have on protective gloves. He amazingly said yes I know and when I stated that that type of behavior was probably a health code violation he again stated that yes it was and he was aware. Our conversation was in full view of customers and employees. WOW. Why was the employee first of all ALLOWED to be in those areas without proper bandages or proper protective gear or even at all. It was very alarming that this type of behavior in the work place where food is handled, prepared and served is allowed. This was posted by someone I know on FB
