Just awful service. Just 1 person was sent and they were unable to accommodate any stairs, which was never mentioned. If this is an issue then it should be one of the first questions asked. Louis agreed he should have asked this. Did some back and forth to see if some extra guys could be sent to help get the units down the stairs but "his boss refused." I offered to build a ramp so the electric dolly could go up and down the ramp, this was refused. Eventually we said we would just take the 2 smaller units and pass on the larger units since they could not go in the backyard. Louis agreed and said it was his fault for not clarifying logistics. Then, out of the blue, he gave us hope.. He said he "had an idea." He made a phone call, came back, and told myself, my wife, and our 2 little kids that he has an affiliation with a party store in Danvers and they could help him out getting everything into the backyard, he just needed to go get them. Our kids lit up - it sounded like he had saved the day and they were so excited. They ran inside all happy! He said he would be back in 45 minutes, he needed to go get 3-4 guys, but it would take longer with the trailer. We said leave the trailer, he said no the hitch is a bit messed up. We said ok leave the 2 smaller units so you have room to fit the guys you're picking up, no? He said no it's fine, they will all fit. I offered to follow him in my car so we could fit them more easily, he again refused. He left and told my kids he'd back right back with help. 5 minutes later he sent a text saying my order was cancelled because it's not possible to get the units down the stairs. He refused any further calls or texts, and blocked our numbers. The story was completely made up and he made every excuse to leave with all of the units, large and small, and has refused any replies. The kids are crushed, the party is ruined, and Louis made up a whole story about getting help just to escape. Absolutely terrible and cruel.

Owner who says has been in business for 40 years needs to learn some phone and people skills . Have…read moreused them for 3 or more years now for bouncy houses with no problems until this year. Was told when this booked that the bouncy house would be picked up the next day which was a Sunday , perfect because I don't want that behemoth sitting on my lawn for longer than 24 hours ! So when I didn't hear from them on Sunday I called and they told me it would be first thing Monday....ok ...not really acceptable but I understand. Now they are 2.5 miles away so when I called at 9:00 am Monday and the owner said they are on the way I say great . I did a couple of errands and came home around 10:15 to find their equipment still on my lawn . I called back and talked to the same "rude " so called 40 year in business owner to ask why it wasn't picked up yet and he went off on a tangent about this being the busiest weekend and 200 other customers and no help , and then went on and asked me if I was one of "those guys " who sat around and watched my lawn all day ! WTF ? Who does this guy think he is ? So .....I had to do a face to face with this arrogant so called business owner . Sure enough....just what I thought....jumped up in my face and proceeded to tell me I'ma "Kenny" .....ya know a male "Karen"....not once but at least five times ! He is a lucky man.... I would not recommend doing business with this man unless you get a written contract for drop off and pick up times . Very unprofessional.

Personally I would work on customer service skills with whoever takes the phone calls. I had called…read moreand booked a bouncy house mid may for may 21st. While on the phone when booking we confirmed it was may 21st numerous times and at the end of the call the man even said " see you May 21st" I was never told to go check an email that was sent to me to confirm the info was entered correctly on your end. I figured seeing I was spending close to 400 dollars for a bouncy house for one day, that I was all set. It wasn't until the night before that I noticed I never got a confirmation email or call like I was told I would. That's what prompted me to get look for an email sent when booking and noticed it was scheduled for June 4th. So I called first thing in the morning to get this solved assuming the person that took my call accidentally entered that date wrong. The lady that answered was rude and took no accountability for anything. She sat there and pointed fingers at everyone else BUT the company's error. Repeating " how did you not catch this sooner" " this is why you should have checked the email." Listen I got that email WHILE on the phone booking, as the man I spoke to repeated multiple Times it was for may 21st and even repeated to say " see you may 21st" at the end of the call. Whether who thinks who is wrong in this situation, as a business I would have personally answered that phone and said " sorry about this confusion, let's see what we can do to fix it" instead of this lady sitting there question the customer (myself) on how WE didn't catch this error sooner. If someone is spending 350+ on my business I would just try and make it right. We have rented from you guys for quite a few years so it was extremely disappointed to be treated like garbage. The fact that then the woman said we would received the bouncy house after the party would have started? and then when they received a call from another family member of mine because I was extremely overwhelmed with how you were handling the situation, you continued to give them a hard time and when they got upset you proceeded to say you guys did not want to deliver to us anymore. Extremely unprofessional. This all could have been avoided with some better costumer service from the beginning. And we still have yet to receive an apology for this.

We recently had booked World Record DJ's for our wedding in Sterling, MA in late July. During the…read moreplanning meetings, we dealt with Matt, but Ryan actually performed at our event. We had, what we thought, was going to be a tricky wedding as far as music needs. We had 3 different locations which required music, all on the same property; our ceremony was at a gazebo, our cocktail hour was on an outdoor patio, and the reception started inside the venue. The ceremony: We had the DJ provide the music for our processional and recessional. They also provided a microphone for our officiant to wear, and a mic with a stand for our readings, all outdoors. The audio quality was excellent, and one of the microphones even picked up me and my bride's voices as we were reciting our vows, etc. It was a high quality audio experience. Cocktail Hour: We had the cocktail hour on a patio. They also had speakers in this area for our guests to enjoy. The music out here was at a perfect volume. We also continued the music outside for the entirety of the reception. Reception: Ryan handled the intros, exceptionally. We had a few names that were difficult to pronounce, but Matt worked with us to get phonetic spellings, and when the time came, Ryan got everything right. He kept the pace of the event moving, and he had all of the versions of the songs that we needed for our newlywed intro, as well as our father/daughter, mother/son dances. Now, I have to give Ryan a lot of credit. No one was dancing. We told Matt previously, and Ryan before the wedding started that they should not take it personally if no one was dancing. This was not a dancing crowd. My wife and I have been together for 7 years, and we have danced a total of 5 times, including our wedding. Our friends and family aren't dancers either. The weather was gorgeous, and we had yard games, so everyone (I mean everyone) was outside, just socializing, playing games, and it was great. And actually, the music ended up being a very important part of the enjoyment outside. Music selection: We're fairly young, but we have a strange taste in music. We're not into modern country and we're mostly into older stuff from the 70's and 80's. We supplied Matt and Ryan with a list of maybe 10 songs, and from that list they put together a playlist for the entire 4 hour event. Their music selections were absolutely perfect. We didn't get a single modern country song, which was very important. The care they put into this was apparent. These two guys (Matt and Ryan) really have it together from a service standpoint. Every step was super-easy, and laid back. Matt in particular has a knack for keeping the meetings both incredibly professional, and laid back and fun. I can't stress enough how happy we are that we picked World Record DJ's to perform our wedding. They were first class all the way. Thank you guys!

We had some special requests (unique song choices, sound effects being played during speeches) and he executed flawlessly. His uplighting transformed the room from "nice" to "WOW!" Definitely consider this add-on. For the money, I can't imagine getting a better DJ. I would caution against getting a cheap DJ. Spend the money on a professional DJ and you (and your guests) will be much happier for it.
