I've been coming here forever. When Allstate bought the naming rights, the place was freshened up a bit. However, the same problems still plague this place. The food is pretty lousy, yet overpriced. The parking lot is expensive and very difficult to get in and out of. Pace offers good service to the arena from the Rosemont El station which is the way to go. Free tip from your Uncle Patrick: it's cheaper to pay the fee for parking at the El station and take the bus round trip even for two people than it is to park in their lot. Plus, you beat a lot of traffic getting out of there due to the routing of the bus. read more

I have grown to prefer its urban cousin, the United Center a lot more. This is the place where all suburban kids go to the circus, go see Disney on Ice, and as they grow older, concerts. It is also home to the Chicago Wolves and the Chicago Sky. I went to see a Chicago Sky game yesterday. Parking was easy but expensive. I was able to get there early enough so I could get a spot where I can pull out forward towards the exit. There is a Target next door. They did not check bags on the way in so you can get candy and other items and bring them in. I saw a guy with a Starbucks cup and no one stopped him! Concessions were out of this world expensive! $6 for a hot dog!? I think it actually is cheaper at Wrigley Field. One thing I could say is that the concessions staff was very friendly. Also, the bathrooms were reasonably clean. Why the two stars? The usher in my section (between 111 and 112) was quite rude. He basically just brushed me off and was like, "Oh yeah, you did not get a program." Okay, I know this is not a premier event for the arena, but you can show some courtesy. Also, the arena is somewhat outdated and just cavernous. You could not hear the person sitting next to you. The game itself was fun, and the ladies worked hard. I left early because I did not want to wait a half hour to get out of the parking lot. Will I return? Probably yes. Is this my choice of venue? No. read more

When you're 6'4" and you can't see over the person SITTING in front of you, you know it's not your usual fault for being too tall. The Romans managed to build a nice little coliseum with good sightlines, but somehow this couldn't be accomplished in Chicago 2,000 years later. Along with the fact that Allstate is nowhere near anything resembling public transportation, the $20 parking fee is an additional kick in the pants, and getting out afterwards is a nightmare. read more

I was here for the Garth Brooks concert. I thought the venue was nice; it's not huge, but it's not small either. I like the commute from my home in the Western burbs much more than heading to the UC. The food here sucks; I got a hot dog and a pretzel. Their other big seller is the Connie's Deep Dish pizza, but if I'm going to get pizza, I expect the best, and although it might be good (and looked okay), I did not partake. read more

As far as large venues go, this is a pretty good one. The size isn't tiny or huge. The parking lot is safe and parking costs $15-20 depending on the event. The arena is walkable and accessible by multiple doors. The location itself is right off the expressway and it is not hard to find. Now that Rosemont is built-up there are tons of food options, in case you arrive early. Target and Chili's are right next door. read more

I went to Disney on Ice Sunday Feb 7th. I had a horrible time trying to find my seats. Ushers kept sending me up and down. I thought I'd never make it. I missed twenty minutes of my show looking for my seats I was infuriated. When I finally found my seats I demanded that we speak to a supervisor. The supervisor was condecending and rude. Then why am I a fan? I escalted the situation and asked to speak to his boss. Yes I'm that girl. After speaking to the Manager he stopped me half way seeing how upset i was... Eyes welting up girl pissed. And he upgraded my seats. We were on the Ice. It completely made my day and the kids we brought to the show. This is among my least favorite venues to see concerts, but probably above the United Center. In addition to your overpriced concert ticket, you will pay an additional $20 to park here for a nightmare exit after the overpriced concert. I don't mind Wolves games here because they rarely sell out, at least not when I've been there, I've also been to a few DePaul basketball games...again, not a sell out kind of game. Sometimes I have no choice but to go here for concerts because this might be the only venue they're at. I was here last night, before that probably about 6 years ago...I also remembered that both of my graduation ceremonies from DePaul University were here as well. I try not to buy food at these places because it's always overpriced. I don't recall beer prices either this past visit because I didn't look but I'm assuming both are probably outrageous. The sound isn't too bad here...the seats, even in the upper section aren't horrible either. It's NEVER easy to exit a concert venue, but the set up in the lot and the out to the street are just ridiculously bad. There ARE other lots in the area which are cheaper, but you have to walk to them, and cross Mannheim Ave. to get there. That won't keep me from returning though... sometimes you just don't have an option! read more

The worst in traffic control, staffing attendants at the door and guiding people to their seats, parking lot control. Everything. We arrived over half an hour early anticipating traffic. Man were we wrong. We ended up being half an hour late. And the funny part is we were not even the last ones there. People kept coming in well into an hour in the shows, using their own phone flashlights to try to find their seats, making people get up from their seats to pass through and blocking other people. And the parking $ is a highway robbery. To what reason can they command $25 to park? This is the suburbs! read more

Biggest White Castle ever!!!! I thought I was gonna be able to order some sliders by the look of this place. I went and saw Dane Cook here and the experience was horrible! The driving and parking was God Awful both getting in and leaving. No good way at all. (I did get to see two girls drop trou and let it go right on the side of I-90!) The seats were cramped and uncomfortable. But that is with every seat that isn't my couch. Every 10 min a plane from O'Hare would go over that it sounded like thunder. Dane Cook even stopped a couple of times to wonder what it was. The POLICE were ushers. No lie. They had three police men come down with their giant, retina burning flashlights to "check" tickets for like 10 min! The flat, warm beer was WAY too expensive and hard to get to that I didn't bother. The sound guys must not have done an audio check because during the encore, Dane couldn't play his guitar because the audio was messed. GREAT JOB GUYS!!! If you want an over-priced, sloppy, congested White Castle to watch a concert or event at.....then this is your place!!! read more

Ugh. I'm so not a fan of Allstate Arena. I've been attending concerts there since it was known as the Rosemont Horizon. The venue was ok when I was a child but as an adult I don't care for it. The last time I was there was in 2013 when New Kids performed with Boyz II Men and 98 Degrees. Actually, it seems like the only time I attend an event there is whenever New Kids tour. Most other artists have wised up and chose to perform at elsewhere. The UC, Northernly Island and Chicago Theatre are such better venues. So last night I went to the New Kids concert with TLC and Nelly. It appeared that the venue had received a slight cosmetic facelift but the foundation is still shaky. The bar areas may have been updated but the bathrooms are still in need of renovation and the seating areas are still small. The sound quality is also still poor in comparison to other venues. Whether you sit on the main floor, 100 level or upper level the seating is tight. I'm rather petite at 5'3'' & 115lbs. I can fit in my seat area with no problem but when a larger woman sits next to me I feel like a sardine. It's very annoying feeling when you're just trying to enjoy the show. The venue really needs a complete renovation so the seats can be enlarged. Even if that means cutting the capacity slightly. The seating is kinda funky. The lower level (100) sections start with rows AA through FF, then A through R. The seating goes from 1-30 from right to left which is odd. The upper level (200) sections start with row A. The main floor seating starts with seat 1 from the left. The 200 level isn't very high but it sits further back so it's actually farther away from the stage. It's really hard to see from that vantage point so I don't recommend those seats. It's nearly the equivalent to being in the 300 level at the UC in my opinion. The biggest thing I hate about Allstate aside from the compact seating is the sound quality. It's horrible. Last night Nelly was talking to the crowd and you could barely make out what he was saying. I don't know what it is about Allstate that the sound quality is so poor. Parking in the lot is $20. Valet is $30. Either way it goes you're stuck waiting 20-40 minutes to get out of the parking lot if you don't leave the show before it ends. There are signs stating that you shouldn't park in the adjacent shopping center but I always park there anyway. I hear that you'll be towed if you park in the Target lot but I've never seen anyone getting towed or heard of anything like that happening. Take a chance and park there but be discreet. Don't be afraid to walk and park closer to Touhy near the bank, Chilli's or the Steak n Shake. That's where I parked last night. I waited 20 minutes for some of the traffic to dissipate and then left with no problem. I'd also advise that you avoid the expressway and take local streets to the venue. Exit I-90 at Sayre and take Talcott to Touhy. Take a left on Touhy and you'll run right into the venue. Longhorn Steakhouse is right at the corner of Touhy and Mannheim. You can take the exact same way back to the expressway as well. Believe me it'll save you the headache of sitting in traffic. read more

Get ready for this kids, you are going to be jealous. I saw New Kids on the Block at Allstate Arena last night! I know, I know, you hate me. You wish you had tickets right next to the stage, too. Don't be mad. The venue was okay. I mean, its a little bit dumpy and all, but who was paying attention when there were those hot boys on the stage? IMO, the staff was very well organized. The traffic in and out of the parking lot was smooth. The concessions were stationed to avoid traffic jams. The bathrooms were never completely crowded or messy. As for the sound, I cannot really comment. It is hard to tell when there is a deafening roar of thirty-somethings reliving their teen years. I would see NKOTB anywhere, so this was A-OK, fo sho. read more

Worst experience of my life! I ordered Disney on ice tickets back in November as Christmas gifts for my children then 2 weeks before the event they changed the event that you must be fully vaccinated?!!! You can be vaccinated and still spread COVID!!!!! It is completely impossible to get anyone on the phone to refund my money I am 5 months pregnant and stressed beyond belief I will Never buy tickets to this establishment ever again! The only reason to go here is because artists will perform here. And artists perform here, because they can draw a large crowd willing to put up with high ticket prices and so much other inconveniences. Honestly, most of my night was a headache. My party went to see Imagine Dragons' Smoke and Mirrors Tour. Apparently some band named Metric opened, and based on the crowd energy it was clear that no one else knew who they were either. I am a fan of EDM, high energy and noise, but Metric was an assault on my ears, to the point I walked out during their performance. This gave me ample time to consider how expensive the concessions were, how few of them were offered, and to dread getting my car out of parking when the concert was over. Imagine Dragons came on finally. For a tour named Smoke and Mirrors, there was neither smoke nor mirrors, but large LED screens that showed trippy images. We had seats at the opposite end of the stadium (nose-bleed section), and the noise quality back there was poor. I can see them moving their lips, but all I heard was bass and muffled treble. After the concert was over, we actually decided to go to the Culvers and get some late-night food while waiting for traffic to die down. Apparently Culvers didn't know about the concert because they closed right when the concert ended. You'd think that business in the area would be aware of the performance schedule and work around when there would be 20 thousand people in the area, lot of potential money there. Even after waiting 20 min, we still sat in traffic for another 20 trying to get out. Really no part of my trip here was enjoyable. I wish the sound quality were better (perhaps closer seats would help), but so much of the night was a headache that I would rather skip out. Dear artists, don't come here to perform, there are much better places, like Soldier Field, Aragon Ballroom, McCormick place could even cater to you. read more

I attended the Elton John concert here last weekend and found the overall experience to be just fine. I don't know why so many whiners on here are giving it one star for issues like the seats being tight. You are seeing an ARENA show, the whole point is to jam in as many people as possible. I've seen shows at United, Allstate, Wrigley - sure, the seating tends to be a little cramped. Hell, have you been to Symphony Center? The seating there isn't much better. I had people on either side of me, and I'm a bigger guy, and I felt just fine. Get over it. I thought be venue itself was well run, clean, minimal lines, and all staff giving me the bare minimum of politeness, which again is to be expected for something like this. The concessions are obscenely overpriced, but again, that's par for the course ($12 Symphony Center nut mix, anyone??). The show is only 2 hours and I ate/drank before hand. If I desperately wanted to get drunk while experiencing The John (is that a valid nickname for him?) I could always have bought a $9.50 beer. Or smuggled a flask in my crotch...I'm not sure which of those is more humiliating. I thought the sound system was very good - super well balanced and very clear. Plus they mic'd the SHIT out of his piano, which is a good thing when you're at an Elton John concert. The one thing that probably would have infuriated me and led to a much worse review is the parking situation. Luckily I checked YELP before going, and parked across the street in a 3rd party lot for $15. The way Allstate parks cars is total madness - MADNESS, I SAY! They park the cars in long rows, stacked four in a row, bumper to bumper. Then they leave a lane, then four more rows bumper to bumper, repeat. This means there are two rows of cars that are 100% blocked in, unable to move until one or both of the cars surrounding them leaves. It is the exact opposite of the "easy out" concept most parking places offer. Except this time no one else has the keys to the other cars, so they can't be moved until the owner gets there. Do not ever parking in the Allstate lot for a large concert or you will be subjected to this insanity. You can save $5 and park right across the street, AND get right out of there, with no waiting when the show is over. The only exception I can think of is if someone in your group is disabled. The good news there is they have a separate section for handicap placards, with the cars parked in a normal, logical fashion. So either park across the street or intentionally break your leg before going to the concert...either way. I guess to enjoy yourself you will need to come into this with the right expectations. The seats are hard, plastic, and a little cramped. The concessions are wildly expensive. You are there to enjoy a show, not comfortably recline on a chaise lounge while being fed grapes. And for the love of god, do not parking in their lot. Can't stress that enough. read more

This isn't the United Center. Why is it $20 (cash only) to park here?! A lot of the prices here are ridiculous. Water is $5?! Only good thing is that there really isn't a bad seat here. Even in the nosebleeds you can see and hear everything clearly. Fix the parking and concessions and maybe I'll come here for concerts more often. Worst place to see a concert. 1. Sound quality was awful! System of a down put on a good show, but it was still a bit hard to hear them. And for deftones you couldn't hear them at all! 2. The seats were so small you couldn't sit comfortably. At least for a concert you typically stand during the performance, however I couldn't imagine sitting in those chairs for a sporting event. I was actually considering going to a hockey game, but now after I've been squished into those seats, I've changed my mind. 3. No water fountains!!! I needed a sip of water to take some medicine and there weren't any water fountains. I asked for a glass of water and I was told I had to buy a bottled water. $4.50 for the grosses bottled water aquafina! It taste so bad I wouldn't have paid 25 cents for it. It's pretty bad that they charge so much money for nasty water when Chicago has the best tasting FREE water that's not bad for the environment! So to take my medicine I had to drink from the bathroom sink. read more

Unfortunately you have no choice if your favorite musical artist decides to play this venue. Went to Jeff Lynne's ELO on a night there were storms in the area. We parked in the South lot, where there were THREE different booths open to pay ($20). So far, no complaints. We parked in the spot we were directed (approximately 15 employees directing traffic into specific spots) to go then got into a long line that extended around the building, this is around 6:45 (concert started at 8pm). The line was moving when suddenly an officer came outside, told the people currently at the door that the entrance was closing. THERE WAS NO EXPLANATION AS TO WHY PEOPLE WERE NO LONGER BEING ALLOWED IN. We asked the local police on the scene with patrol dogs why, and they didn't know either. All this while lightning was visible and quickly approaching (luckily it had NOT started to rain yet). A few minutes after 7pm, the main doors opened with people disorderly rushing to get inside. Apparently this venue believes 3 paid parking booth attendants, 15 parking assistants, but only ONE security wand guard and TWO ticket collectors is appropriate staffing. There was absolutely no consideration for the health and well-being of the patrons (I actually called the venue while waiting outside and was told there was nothing they could do and had no explanation as to why people were no longer being allowed in), which is why I'll never return. read more

Attended a family-friendly concert here recently: ticket purchase was easy online, location was near Ohare so heavy traffic tho convenient location from airport, parking was ample tho a bit pricey, chairs were adequate tho old, ushers were great, standard food was available, masks were recommended tho only 1/2 people ppl complied, & audio/visual features were above average. Tip: go with group so that you will know what to expect from your seat mates. I attended with only 1 other friend. Thus we both were crammed together by overly large & energetic ppl who couldn't stay off their cellphones. read more

I think this is an awesome arena, I come here to watch the WWE Events. I've been here twice once I was sitting in row M in section 102 and the other in section 111 in row D. Both times I've had a great view and experience and for any WWE ticket buyers, any seat appears to be great since it's a smaller arena you're a lot closer than what you would assume. In Row D I felt like I was about 30-40 feet away from the ring and I ended up on TV a ton of times so if this is what you're striving for then the 110-111 is a good section to be in. The downfall is (not Allstates fault) is if you are in section 110-111 then you're basically going to always get the back of the Superstars whereas if you are in section 102 and 103 the Superstars will always be facing you, but you won't be on TV. Pick your priorities I guess. Allstate's security does suck, but I can understand why. I bought a bag with medicine and drinks and they would not let me throw out my drinks, instead they kept all of its contents and made me sign it away for a few hours. I saw this happen to a lot of woman so if you need to bring your tampons, medication, etc bring it in a small purse otherwise it seems like they'll take it from you regardless. The ticket office for the next upcoming shows also opens around 10 or whenever the show ends, we were able to get killer pre pre sale seats for about 30% off Ticketmaster price and you don't pay those whack fees, be forewarned a line forms pretty much whenever the last match begins. Also, from the blue line we have discovered it's about a 2 mile walk if you are brave to trek it to Allstate, not that 2 miles is far, but these WWE events always occur on hotter days. There is a bus that takes you there, but it only comes once an hour and they never let you use the CTA pass even thoug the CTA pass says it can be used on Pace buses so bring extra cash. A taxi cab right there and back runs about 10-13 dollars depending on if you are sharing the cab or not. So you have options. The food like at any arena isn't that great and it is overpriced. We paid $6.50 for a slice of pizza and $5 for a not Chicago style hot dog. Anyways, so my point is WWE fans this arena is great and any seat you are able to get is great. I've spoken with others who have sat in the 200s and on the floor, the clear agreement is that you can pretty much see the ring just fine (and there's a huge screen if you can't) and if someone has a sign up in front of you preventing you from seeing it, just tell them to put it down! read more

Absolutely terrible. Disney on ice has their own ice and it's no Allstate arenas ice they use. It is extremely small and very cramped. People constantly getting up and down so you rarely will sit down having to move for people. Next comes the souvenir prices..... holy shit $25 for a light up wand that probably costs $2 to make. I went to get 2 bags of cotton candy and a bag of popcorn. I shit you not it was $47 friggin dollars. I told them to keep it. Fleetwood Mac Concert on Valentines Day - 2/15/15 at the Allstate Arena - I understand it was a great show - BUT I COULDN'T GET IN THE ARENA, BECAUSE THERE'S NO PARKING!!!! I sat on Manneheim for over an hour to get near the arena, then was directed past the arena to remote parking on the west side of Lee Street. There was a shuttle bus - a, as in one - people were lined up in the freezing cold waiting for another bus to arrive - and this was at 9:15 - Fleetwood Mac came on at 8:15!!! I paid $400 for 2 tickets that I didn't get to use - because the Allstate Arena owners are selling tickets to customers that they can't accommodate in their venue. I will never again attend a concert event at Allstate Arena - the seats are tiny, you are practically in the lap of the patron next to you, the acoustics suck, and you can't park. DON'T GO TO ALLSTATE ARENA FOR A CONCERT - YOU'LL HAVE A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. read more

I am up in the air about this place. On one hand I like the smaller venue size because there isn't really a nose bleed section. On the other hand, there is a whole lotta standing around looking dumbfounded by some staff members. The drinks are expensive as expected but lots of different choices of places and food vendors. I like variety. Seating was a bit tight but easily accessible. There is always a Yin to a Yang. Its weird. I think the thing that made this a negative experience for me was when my car was blocked in by a whole row of cars. this rant is for you, parking lot traffic directors: Dear Allstate Arena parking coordinators, I paid 20 dollars for parking and it seems like you guys had it all together. Like you have done this before. did you intentionally do that to collect more money? Did you do it on accident because you don't know how to place cars right? What if I had an emergency? you say that you have a tow truck guy on staff to move the blocking car out of my way? Really do you? I didn't see him. I think you are lying to me. I don't like liars. You forced me to stay longer than expected. You forced me to watch 30 minutes of screaming 10-16 year old scream for Justin Bieber. I only intended to stay for the good acts. Why do you block in my car? With all that extra money you are making from paying customers and over stuffing the parking lots, you can put another level on the lot. That sounds like a good idea! Simmer on it. Please don't piss me off any further because I am mad enough that I cannot regain the 30 minutes of my life spent watching this "artist" perform. Went here for the first time too see Trans Siberian Orchestra. I'll never go back! Should have driven the extra miles to go to Milwaukee and see them. Took 1 1/2 hours to get to our seats from the time we got in line to get into the parking lot. Charge $25 to park. Missed the first half hour of show. Not a bad place to see a minor league hockey game, which is what I saw on my first and only visit here recently. For someone who is from out of town, my experience here was all good. It is essentially on the end of a runway at O'Hare, meaning that it's very far from Chicago. To get here I took the El from the airport to the Rosemont station. Then I hailed a cab, which cost me about $12 to take me the three miles to where the arena is. There are a few places to eat next to the arena, as it is built next to a "classic" American cookie cutter shopping center that contains a Target, Panda Express, Chili's, Steak n Shake, etc. I had a large backpack with me from my flight, however the Wolves have no issue with you bringing that kind of stuff in ( I emailed them before my trip and they let me know it was ok). They just felt it for guns/weapons? stuff like that, and food/drinks, which you can't bring in. After the game if you want to get back to the Rosemont CTA station, just hop onboard the PACE bus for 1.75. Check the web for their schedules, but they seem to offer this service whenever there is an event going on here, like Depaul basketball. Now I can add an AHL game to my sports list...... read more

Maybe I'm just spoiled by our local stadium but this place was not a great venue for a concert. Seats are tiny and crammed together. Some sections have 50 seats in a row so if you are in the middle you better not have to leave. Editing the arena took forever from the 200 level as the halls are right and too many obstructions in the way. Parking was a joke and I got stuck in the lot for 1.25 hours after the show. Also 20 bucks to park is a little silly as our local arena is 6 bucks. I do like the location being right off the highway. Very easy to get to read more

I bought tickets to 'High School Musical' for my little nieces and nephews and my sisters as a Christmas gift. I'm going to have to write a separate review for the show- it was fabulous!! But here are my thoughts on Allstate Arena: We had incredible seats, 4th row (you're welcome kids). The sound system was great. That's where my compliments end. Getting into the parking lot was ridiculously slow. They have better parking systems at funerals! But here's the really scary part. Leaving the place was complete and utter chaos. It was thousands of adults and children, crammed together, some walking with us, towards our exit door, some walking towards us, to another door, many exiting the various entries to the theater itself and trying to break into a line. Mind you, more than half of these people are small children- easily stepped on. I shudder to think of the tragedy that would occur if there were some type of emergency. In my opinion, I would think that a responsible theater would have some type of organized system to help people to exit the building in a safe and timely fashion. It was obvious that they are using all their staff to hawk cheap dollar store items for ridiculous prices. read more

This is my first time reviewing the Allstate but I've been to dozens of shows over the last 20 years (since it was the Rosemont Horizon) or so and dozens more sporting events - primarily the wolves and DePaul basketball. This venue has always been one of my favorites. The Allstate is a bigger venue than most, with only the United Center and Soldier Field being bigger venues with an occasional Wrigley Field show. That being said, there's really not a bad seat in the house. Many concerts I've attended I've sat in the back on top and have never had any issues seeing or hearing the show. The Venue is typically clean and organized and relatively easy to navigate. The only draw down is getting out of the parking lot after a show. But I can't fault the arena - 20,000 people leaving any space at one time will cause a traffic jam. Also, the 20 dollar cash only fee to park is a little bit of a bummer. For my most recent concert - I saw The Who this week for their 50th anniversary tour and it was awesome! I'll obviously return for future games and shows. read more

This place is kind of like a 100 year old woman getting a face lift. Whats the point, it is still old and sloppy under the mask, right? About 5 years ago Allstate bought naming rights for about 9 million and from what I can tell the basicly just change out some seats, slapped some paint and pretty pieces on the outside of the building and called it quits. Site lines are crappy, not enough slope for good view of sporting events, terrible as hell to walk around in if they have any kind of crowd at all, way over priced parking and a nightmare trying to get in and out of. I only go here if there is an event I absolutely don't want to miss. Otherwise I pretty much avoid the place. read more

I enjoy creeping past you at a hair whipping speed of 2mph at 5:30pm on a daily basis. The street lights do wonders to the glorious exterior, they shine on the sign that promote the 'cheap' $11 parking rate. Any Wolves games that you may catch here, it will be best to have some lame schlup drive you to the game and give 'em the 7 buck beer, 4 buck hot dog or 4 buck 'medium' soda. Let's be honest, we all go hear for the music and it's great location. They always feature quality acts and you can almost always find affordable tickets somewhere in here. We went to see new kids on the block, nelly, tlc. Like all other venues in the area it is over priced. Layout awful, seats uncomfortable, crowded events leave you feeling sardine like. I won't stay away I just will go see expensive events at different venues where I won't feel like herded cattle. read more

Pink (2x), The notorious BiG, Usher, Justin timberlake,the ting tings, Alicia Keys and a whole lot more..... I like the Allstate arena. I have seen quite a few artists here starting back from 1995 to the present day. The beer is pricey- but that's to be expected at any arena (Unless you are in the middle of no where like the Peoria Civic Center where it's only five bucks) The parking is over priced @ $20.00 for the cramped spaces, and it will take you at least 30 mins to get out of. So now I just stay at a hotel nearby So I can continue to party after the show. There are tons of restaurants and bars to choose from in the area. There is not a bad seat in the place, though my preference is sec 102 or G.A. The sound is very good as well. i will actually be back there in one month! read more

Allstate is by far the worst venue to see live music in the Chicagoland area. Our seats were actually slighty behind the stage (really, they sold tickets for behind the stage???) which meant that a) we couldn't see the whole stage and b) we couldn't see the big screens at all. Getting into the parking lot, parking and getting to the venue is nightmare. I'll avoid this at all costs in the future. read more

Okay, so I've been to several concerts at Allstate Arena and after my experience this past weekend, I can safely say I won't be back. It's a horrible venue for a concert. I guess the one good thing is that it's small enough that it's hard to have a bad seat/view. But besides that, there's absolutely nothing good about this place! If there are any other options for you, see your favorite band/singer elsewhere. The parking itself and the people "working" (I use the term loosely) the parking lots are ridiculous - completely stupid and sooooooo overpriced ($20). Leaving the lots after the concert is an absolute clusterf%&k! Total disaster. The seats within the venue are so unbelievably small - anyone who weighs more than 120 will be uncomfortable. There is no leg room at all - I'm 5'2" and I had trouble. Makes for a long three hours even if it is your favorite band/singer. And then there's the temperature control. The event I most recently attended was in March - it was about 45 degrees out. I wore jeans and a button-down shirt. I was sweating like I stole something for the entire concert. It was miserable. I seriously thought I might pass out a couple times. Seriously, figure it out, idiots! It shouldn't be that hard to figure out - 10,000 people packed in like sardines, we might need to move some f&$king air!! You'd think the people that run this place would have figured out how to make this experience enjoyable for people, but alas, they have not! Like I said, find another venue if you can - this place isn't worth your time or money. I'd rather spend more and travel farther than see another concert here! read more

This place gets 5 stars. I'm not sure how you could give it a rating of anything less than that. It's a free-king arena. It will be crowned, there will be a traffic jam when you leave, there will be a cost for parking, and finally you will pay way to much for food and delicious beer. May I remind you it's an arena, its everything you expect, nothing more nothing less. read more
