As expected, this arena is pretty pricey for food and drink (estimate $50 for 2 large drink cans)…read morebut I like the ease of getting in and out of this location. For comparison sake, I really liked the intimacy, vibe and look of nearby Rosemont Theatre for a smaller concert. There are plenty of local restaurants to dine at before a show. However, be prepared to wait in long restaurant and traffic lines to get in and park or exit a concert. Patience will definitely be needed. If you are using shared ride or getting picked up, walk to nearby Target or Ross Stores and get dropped off or picked up there instead. Although it was a Summer night, I am glad I opted for gym shoes vs. sandals, as the much used bathrooms had wet, disgusting floors and the Ladies room layout is very strange. There are two hallways of stalls but you have to walk back towards to stalls to use the hand dryers. Definitely not a well designed layout. But closed toe shoes are a must, in my opinion. For a concert (we saw Styx and Chicago) you can hear and see pretty well from section 101, Row H. Stairs can be challenging to navigate without a railing but ushers help light the stairs if it is dark. I have bad knees so I took the stairs very slow, so as not to trip...or spill my expensive drink either!

There are various food and beverage vendors throughout as well as a number of restrooms. The biggest complaint is the parking. Overpriced and very slow to get in and out. Overall,a decent place to see events outside of Chicago.

This was the first time, the photo op section took longer than 1 min to print out the physical copy of pictures. The physical copy used to be so fast that they would be ready by the time you turn the corner. It took about 40-45 mins to receive my physical copy this past Saturday. The parking garage was atrocious. It took 50 mins to leave the garage. I had to park on level 5 and that was about 1.5 hrs after they opened the doors to the con. Usually, leaving the garage would be no issue at all. For some reason, it took about 40 mins just to go down one level. I understand that they were understaffed but the customer service should still remain good. Almost all of the celeb autograph tables accept cash for autographs, table selfies, and combos. For some stupid reason, they decided to make Sam Witwer's table prepaid and orange ticket only. I know it sounds dumb, considering the bigger names were cash only. I prefer giving the celeb exact cash amount instead of paying extra taxes to Chicago and Leap Epic online. Anyways, the guy in charge decided to be a grinch and not let me and another girl into the line. We both paid extra money for the all weekend pass. Overall 2 out of 5. 2 stars only for the celebs, vendors, and handing out with other fans. Minus 3 for the incompetent staff.

The baseball itself was not thrilling, the home team lost badly, but the stadium, atmosphere, Helpful staff and field activities kept everyone in high spirits. We went on a fireworks night. They actually paused the game to do the fireworks because the game was going long, and there is strict timing for fireworks as the field is close to the airport. Our group had a box upstairs, so we had unlimited food, beer and wine. The price was right and the food was good! Not a huge spread but a good one. Pasta and pork tenderloin were stand outs. There's no shade, so day games in summer can be brutally hot. Night games are delightful. + Parking in the adjacent garage for THREE DOLLARS. If that's full, you can park for free across the street, a 5-10 minute walk from the gates. + Solid concessions: hot dogs, burgers, bratwurst, grilled chicken, tacos, pizza, chicken tenders, fries, pretzels, popcorn, ice cream...enough variety for everyone to find something. I learned about something called a bosco stick, which I regret not getting. Next time! + Entertainment between every half inning: trivia, fan interviews, numerous types of wacky races. This really keeps kids engaged. + Cheap and flexible ticket options. Games don't seem to sell out (or come close), so you can buy tickets on short notice and still get to pick your seats pretty much anywhere. About 85% of the seats range from just $10 to $17.

There were a lot of parking attendants in the lot and security staff when we got there. The inside of the theater has stairs to the second floor / balcony area and stalls for drinks and food. We only purchased two water bottles $17 total which is hefty but you're not allowed to bring in food or drinks. There were only drinking fountains but no water bottles filling stations. The theater itself does not have enough air conditioning for the size so it was quite humid and hot in the space especially for an almost sold out show. The area outside the theater does have air conditioning. There's only two small elevators and the outside theater space is all carpeting. The seats are relatively small but did have good cushioning. We appreciated the balcony seats because even if you're seated behind taller people you can still have great view of the stage. If you want to be close to center view in the balcony, book in section 206 in seats 8-10. We waited a bit after the show to avoid the crush of people leaving the venue which worked out well. We had parked near the stage entrance to get a glimpse of the performers leaving and then could leave right after.

I haven't been to the Rosemont Theater in forever, but I do recall it always being a positive experience. Parking?: Decently priced and close to the entrance Security?: Present enough to make you feel safe. The process for checking bags and being [metal detector] wanded was smooth. Merch?: Conveniently located in the main lobby, well displayed, and smooth to make a purchase. I had eaten dinner prior to arriving, but the concession stand looked to have decently priced snacks. The theater looks a little um, retro(?), but it was a gift to be in a beautiful theatre over a giant sports stadium. The sound quality was great, the seats were comfortable, and I could see Charlie very well, even if I chose to sit during a slower song due to the staggered, stadium seating. Traffic on the way there was a little slow due to a concert at Allstate Arena, the Chicago Dogs home opener, and Anime Central, but that was on me to be responsible and leave at an appropriate time. I had looked up the set list on SetlistFM so I knew there was no encore. As soon as that last note of "Changes" rang out into the air, I was a cloud of myself as I briskly walked to the car to get out of the parking lot, haha. What a joy to enjoy a concert and be back on my own driveway in 23 minutes!

They were absolutely ruthless to me and happily accepted every dollar I fed them. Meanwhile, my husband somehow walked away $500 richer, which I'm still trying to process. Apparently the machines only like him. Even though the slots clearly had a personal vendetta against me, we still had a great time and will probably be back (because hope springs eternal when it comes to casinos).
