The gel polish looks cheap, the nails were filed down too much, the shape is uneven, and the finish has streaks and imperfections. I am extremely unhappy with the result. The pedicure was also disappointing -- my heels were not properly treated at all. The massage was very painful and uncomfortable instead of relaxing. Today I went in for a gel manicure and it turned out amazing!! She really took her time and honestly one of the best manicures I've had. Only reason I dropped a star has nothing to do with the service or results, but has to do with the stools/counter where you sit to get your nails done. This was my first time at this salon but I have been getting my nails done for years. I wanted to get my nails done for a last minute vacation. I called and asked if they had any availabilities, luckily, I was able to scheduled my appointment for the same day. This was a very low quality experience. I requested a dipped manicure. First, the women who did my nails used the buffer to remove my cuticles, which tore up all my fingers and cause them to bleed. My regular salon has used this buffer technique before but has never ripped my skin! Because the buffer moves so quickly I didn't realize it was ripping my skin until she had finished!! In fact, the week later was even worse because of all the little pieces of skin that she tore. When she filed my nails she went so deep into my skin I had excruciating pain several days after. When she first went too deep my whole hand flinched. I figured she understood she hurt me because she said "oh sorry" yet she did it to my next figure and a few on my other hand as well. When it came to the dip coats, she applied over the normal amount of layers which caused the nails to be too thick and hurt every time they would hit or brush against anything. I went home and immediately applies Neosporin in fear of getting an infection from all of the cuts from the buffer and file. I also shortly realized that every time I moved my fingers or brushed them on something that the pain was not going away. They were throbbing and felt numb! When I called the salon, they were just closing for the day. I begged them to stay open a few extra minutes to help remove the over-layered nail polish. This was a major hassle to try and get them to comply. But the store owner finally agreed after 15 minutes of negotiation. You can see from my photos how red and sore my figures were. They got worse during my vacation because the ripped skin began to show even more. Overall, I will not be revisiting this salon. read more

SORRY LONG POST, But if you're thinking of going to ALLURA, read before you go. If I could give minus 100 stars! I went to have my hair colored, and when I arrived, have of the salon was draped in black plastic. I tried to ask what was going on, but I simply can't understand my stylists English. The area for hair was now in an area as big as a walk in closet. The color went fine, but they did NOT have a rinse sink! They had sorta tried to make a way to rinse. But it was just a regular sink with a chair. She began filling up the 10 gallon buckets with water. Then tried to get set in the chair, sitting on a pillow like pad. Then tried to get my neck situated near the sink. It was really wrenching my neck which was becoming more and more sore. When she finally got to rinsing and water was going down my shirt. It got to a point where she poured water over my right ear and it SCOLDED ME! I jumped up, told them I was leaving right then and there! I stopped getting pedicures from her because she kept digging too deep, and that hurt like crazy. I guess I should have quit going there when that happened. read more

I went to this salon a while back. Called in an appointment for 3 pedicures. When we arrive they have us sit in the chairs with out water for our feet. We ask them how long the wait is and they said someone will be right with us. They filled the chairs with water. When doing so, the lady left and forgot to turn my water off so it starts overflowing. She then grabs a cup and starts dumping my water from my FEET into my boyfriends water. I was baffled and didn't know how to even react. This is my go-to, favorite nails salon since I have moved to the PNW. The salon is fairly new but filled with chairs and technicians. I love, LOVE LOVE the service here. They take their time with their work, for example, last time I came in for a gel manicure, it took an hour because they tech was so precise and detailed. The worse nail dips I've ever had. The male grabbed a very used buff pad and ran it over my cuticles and did not buff the nails, so they set with grit and dip powder embedded. I paid $55 for a hot stone pedicure and there was nothing relaxing about it - once I realized this was the experience I was in for a timed my massage: my 15 minute massage was 10 minutes, my hot stone massage lasted a whopping 3minutes. Yes I made an appt but apparently they don't write anything down and they had painfully overbooked themselves. People were walking out after waiting 30+ minutes for their appts while others walked in and got put in chairs straight away. read more

The first thing I noticed was that the caddy that she brought over with her supplies was visibly extremely dirty. I was very tempted to leave at this point, but I just wanted to give it a shot. I needed acrylic on one of my toes, but she had to have somebody come do the acrylic which is fine, but then she continued to do acrylic on multiple toes when I just needed it on one. As the other girl was helping with my pedicure, the girl that I started with went over to the side with the same gloves that she had on and was eating a snack, which was just gross and then comes back over and is working on finishing on my feet with the same gloves on. I am embarrassed that I still stayed at this point my biggest reason for writing this review is because of how unsanitary this is. When she was doing my pedi she was using the pumis on the bottom of my feet which was fine but then she continues to do it around my ankles on both feet, causing me to bleed and now a week later scarring and scabbing. I mean this is just absolutely unacceptable. My pedicure took almost 2 hours and my pedicure was $75. For basic pedicure with a 2 min massage. read more

I went in for a fill (strictly a fill) and when I sit down the guy goes "you need new nails" usually most salon take off whatever nails NEED to be replaced and don't charge anything. This guy didn't seem to know a whole lot. He took off every single nail and when he asked what shape I want he said it costs an extra $5 to shape them. Then I proceeded to ask if he was going to charge me for a whole new set even though I asked for a fill and he should've only taken off 2 nails. He said yes. Then when I asked to leave he said I owe him $10 for taking off all my nails, which I didn't ask for. He let me leave with the plastic nails still glued on one hand and my nails filed to shit. I love this salon! I originally came in because it was close to my house and now I refer it to everyone I know. I have a friend who drives over 15 miles just to come here due to their excellent skills, service, and the salon itself. The salon is always clean, offers drinks, and has all the services that you would want. Ok so I went here two days ago and got my nails done. From the parking lot I called them to make sure I could just walk in or if I needed an appointment. The lady told me that yes i need an appointment and asked what did I want done. I told her that I wanted a full set, white tips and, that I that I was thinking about getting my hair cut. She says, how soon can you be here? I told her that I was out in the parking lot and she then told me to come inside and to wear my mask which i did. That was RED FLAG # 1! I walked in there and get a seat at the counter. Soon here came the girl that did my nails. I explained to her that I want pink and white and that I like them square in the front but oval on the sides. When she gets to the point where shes getting the powder and her acetone and brush out I remind her that I like the pink powder. So she runs around the salon searching for pink powder, finally locating some from the owner where they both appeared slightly confused or baffled like nobody requests a pink & white new set and then she comes back over and sits down. First she did white powder on the tip of my pinky and then she does the pink on my nail where it should be pink brushing it all the way down my nail making it look purple. She then gets panicked like she doesnt know what to do and starts wiping it off while rambling about it clear it look nice clear, natural. So I say okay yes use this powder, the clear it'll be fine. About this time the woman that took my phone call sat down next to me and this other woman proceeded to give her a homemade manicure while neither practiced social distancing nor wore a mask. Almost instantly these three women started talking in their language which i dont speak nor understand. The owner and a couple of others made their comments but, then went back to doing their own thing and conversations ignoring the one working on my nails. My nail girl just continued going on and on and on though and I decided that she was talking about me and I'm not sure why. Throughout the whole process She literally struggled with applying the powder to my nails, barely sanded them, and then she hardly filed them before having me go wash my hands. I've been getting my nails done for 15 years now and I haven't experienced anything like this scenario before. The bottom line is I hate my nails right now. They look ridiculous. They are fanned out and fatter than my fingers. I'm still picking globs of hardend acrylic off around my cuticles and out from underneath my nails. When she finished I paid her $46 with my debit card and she was obviously by her body language pissed that i didnt click on the tip option. When asked about getting my hair cut I politely declined and left. Bottom line is I wont be going back to this place again and I will warn my friends and family about what a rude sketchy environment it was. I wasn't feeling well, so I changed my mind about the 2nd service and the guy at the front came by and started yelling at me in front of everyone for canceling it. I have been going here for years and the last few times I've gone, it hasn't been a positive experience. Some of the new girls rush through their services and skip massage when you pay for it in a pedicure. I've had one new girl add a manicure on my bill when one wasnt done, so check your charges before paying. I called today at 12:12 to schedule 2 pedicures with 2 specific people at 5:30pm. When we arrived, I was told that I didn't call, I showed my phone record and still told i didn't call because only 1 person answers phone and then it turns that 2 people answer the phone. Since the person I talked with failed to write it down in their book, it never happened. I've always had great ladies that I stick with but since they had to cut back on their space the place isn't the same with customer service. My color job was bad. I mean really, really bad. It was so bad that I had to go home and fix it myself. There were orange streaks throughout my hair that weren't toned properly. The technique was terrible...partial highlights didn't flow and blend throughout the hair. My bangs were chopped off with a razor, and there's no fixing them until they grow out.
