I came in wanting to get a very simple manicure with hard gel. My appointment took fairly long (1.5 hours), and Rachel my nail technician was really kind during the appointment. It was at first a pleasant experience. It's funny that she pointed out lifting on my previous nails and assured she would do a better job, well, that wasn't true. (My prior nails were week 3 nails and none had come off.) I came in on Friday Sep 26th, and I'm writing this review on October 4th, 8 days after my appointment. (I have one nail left on my hands that's still done.... 9 had broken off or fallen off...) By the next day, the 27th, one of my nails had already lifted and FALLEN OFF my nail. I was working and couldn't reach out till the following Monday-- By Monday, I had lost about 4 nails and here we are now, I wanted to see how long they'd last, and it doesn't look great. I wouldn't recommend this salon. Especially not for hard gel or gel x! Don't waste your money!! read more

I am updating my previous review. About six months ago there was a change in management and my favorite people left. Of course they won't let you know where they moved on to. I've been seeing Rachel now. She does an excellent job and I'm very happy with her work. However, three times now I've shown up to my appointment and she has asked me to come back over an hour later. If it just happened once during the holiday season I understand, but they are double and triple booking. I can't keep changing my schedule to accommodate them. I am disabled and I have at the last minute had to cancel on them more than once. However, when I do see them I usually Tip them half of a missed appointment when that happens. I'm just so upset with walking in and being told to come back an hour later, three times in the last six months. If anybody knows where Lynn went to, please message me. read more

Well... this was my first time coming to this nail salon and will be my last. I showed them a simple picture of some ombré nails and was quoted about an hour long session and $55. When texturizing my nails, the lady drilled a decent size hole through my pinky nail which was very painful. I also asked for almond shape and was given coffin instead. I asked for gems and while placing the topcoat on, she did not let me place my hand under the light and smudged the top coat all over on my right hand. Session ended up being about 2 hours long as she had to strip my right hand. Also gave me a gel top coat without my approval and the pricing shot up to about $70. Once my session was over, I saw the same nail tech pouring herself a glass of wine in the back! I highly do NOT recommend this place if you're looking to get your nails did. read more

I don't like leaving bad reviews... picture a guy requesting a pedicure for the first time in 2 years. You know, people look at you funny, it takes some vulnerability. And these people are sweet. But here was my experience: $55 deluxe pedi done in 30 mins (the menu says 55 mins), pretty painful on the toenail file, not much of a foot rub, felt rushed out of there. Not a great vibe-- no music playing, no wine offered even though they had plenty of unopened bottles. Am I paying for the deluxe service, or...? Not the best reintroduction back into the pedicure world. I tipped even though I felt ripped off. Lots of room for improvement, people don't like throwing money away! read more

First time here, definitely won't be the last! They were friendly and professional, I felt welcome right away. They do have a mask requirement but when I walked in not wearing one (oops), no one freaked out. Instead, a woman working at near the front door simply asked if I had a mask of my own, and moved her hand toward a drawer, as if to retrieve a mask for me to use. I did have my own, I just totally spaced it. They also had me sanitize my hands when I first walked in, which I appreciated. All the ladies working there wear donning masks and keeping themselves and customers socially distanced. They have clear plastic barriers that are placed between the worker and the customer that is being serviced. I'm not sure the name of the lovely lady who did my pedi but she did an amazing job and I love the pretty flowers she designed! The first time I went here for a full set the tech (didn't catch a name) did a great job, the shape was perfect and they were nice and smooth, though a bit too long for my liking..but I loved the job they did so I went back for a second time. The second time a different tech did my set because the gal that did them the first time had another client. This gal filed my nails crooked and so close to my skin it made me bleed on two different fingers, the gel polish has bubbles on some of the ends and they are super thick. With short notice they fit me in and every person that I have worked with has been professional, nice and skilled. I also often require two techs to work on me at the same time. I made a reservation here for 10:15 am on a Friday via Yelp. I arrived at 10:12 and it was packed but I was told they'd get to me soon. They didn't get to me until after 10:40. There were some people who were waiting in front of me so I understood the delay somewhat - I just wish they told me that they were busier than expected and asked if I could come back later that day. There was one person that came in after me who got seated before me, and that was annoying too. The person who did my nails was also working as the receptionist so she kept answering the phone and helping people check out. At no point did anyone apologize for the delay or offer any kind of discount for the inconvenience. I got a basic gel mani and was done at 11:30. I just moved to the area and this salon is closest to me but there's no way I'll go back. Again I get that they could've had a lot of walk ins and some unexpected delays, but they could've handled that by asking me to come by later, giving doke sort of discount, or even just a basic apology. I really hate reviewing anything negatively, but after today I am a bit upset with how I left today. This was the first time we tried this salon since we just recently moved to the area. I decided to try it based off the great reviews. First, the positive: it was great that we were able to get a same day appointment and did not have any wait time! That was a nice surprise and a good way to start out the visit. They have a great selection of colors and they all take social distancing and Covid precautions seriously. The negative: I will acknowledge my toes needed some work. I even apologized for that. I hadn't had them done since January. During cutting my cuticles I was feeling some pretty bad discomfort and noticed my tech was seriously digging into the sides of my toe nail bed. She kept trying to clip it with a tool but then using something else to dig at it. She also kept motioning to my feet and talking to the tech next to us, which started to make me uncomfortable and embarrassed. I felt like it was rude and inconsiderate, you could have asked me if you had a concern about my nails. Finally i asked if there was a problem and she said "you have ingrown on both toes". Well, I have seen techs do literally the same thing she has at my old salon, and cut my cuticles correctly, and never been told this. To second that, I am a nurse and I know exactly what an ingrown toenail is. I have removed them many times. I did not have ingrown toenails on either foot. I tried to tolerate the pain of digging into my nail beds but then my toe literally started bleeding. I finally said "ouch, that's really hurting me." Then I got alcohol sprayed directly into the wound. I really hate to review this way because my toe polish looks great. But after coming home it's been 5 hours and my toe is throbbing, and super uncomfortable. To pay 37 dollars for that and leave bleeding really isn't ideal. I don't think I'll come back here sadly. read more

I went here for the first time back in February and I asked for a full set of solar powder nails and gel polish and they were outstanding! All the ladies greeted me as I came in and they asked me to wash my hands and then they just had me pick a color and I got seated right away granted I did call ahead of time to schedule an appointment but they had multiple walk-in's and all got seated immediately. I just went back today for a fill with gel polish and Anna did such an amazing job. She did my nails in the time that I needed them done. She was quick but efficient. My nails turned out so great today and she is so awesome and I just love V nails and spa. I would 100% recommend this to my friends and family. read more
