Went to this facility for years because the physician, Jennifer, who was there was so awesome. Once she left, I discovered that the billing for this outfit had been accumulating charges (unbeknown and undisclosed to me) over the years that I had been going there. Fast forward a couple of years and I discover I have a collection from this outfit. When I try to contact billing, I get the stifle. Put on hold. No contact number. Calls dropped, etc. The royal run around. These people are vipers. read more

The reason for the one-star is because they tack on a mandatory automatic 20% tip here so beware of that and if you have any kind of discount at this place, it goes bye-bye with your 20% mandatory tip when it's time to pay. I had only come here because they were running specials on certain things i was interested in, but again the "savings" all dried up with the 20% tip. Not cool. About a year ago, when I first came to Allure, I was surprised that they expected you to "tip" them. At that time you could still choose the amount of tip on your receipt and the staff would kind of politely guilt you into to giving a tip of your choice. I know it's the doctor/owner's "fault" for this tipping practice. I would say shame on the doctor/owner for forcing the already struggling consumers to help pay for your staff's salaries and your profits. You should be glad people even come to this establishment, WE the consumers are doing YOU a favor and not the other way around. This low class tipping thing in general has gotten way out of hand now days and now surprisingly at Allure Medical Spa! BTW, no other medical spas that I have also frequented here in Bakersfield, force you to tip them at all and they're all pretty good too. I definitely won't be coming back here. read more

This spa has changed my life. I was starting to become so self conscious of my hyperpigmentation and melasma that it hindered my going out and enjoying myself. I went to see Jen and she prescribed a mix of treatments that has helped me see results in about 3 weeks! Life changing! Allure has the best deals in town. I follow them on IG and like to hit the Flash Sales. I have tried a lot of their services, but my favorite so far is Microneedling and their lash lifts. The Pico Genesis and V-Laser are good too. Daisy is really nice and personable. Misty is always professional at the front desk. Katie is sweet always does my microneedling. I want to try their monthly program, as well, which seems like a great idea for those who want to bundle all their skin care services at one location. I cannot recommend this office enough! I first went to Rebecca to get my skin cleared up from regular hormonal acne, and she was so sweet and motivated my confidence when I was insecure. Once my skin was in a good place from Rebecca's regimen she put me on, I then scheduled sessions with Moriah for microneedling. She was also so nice, cheerful, and really built my confidence with her services and personality. I am so proud of myself for taking care of my skin and this was the perfect place to do it! My new favorite place. Went for a consultation with Jennifer Tougas-Genova NP. I have a rare genetic skin disease and she was familiar with it. She sat with me for over 30 min to devise a plan for treatment. She is also willing to work with my sometimes need to be seen urgently. World needs more health care providers like Jennifer! I got lip filler in July 2021. The staff is amazing. And the nurse I had was very nice also. The only complaint is that it's been more then half a year and my lips still have the two lumps that were there the day I got them done. I'm pretty bummed but not much I can do now. read more

Allure Aesthetics is amazing. Walking in the door you are greeted by helpful staff. The office is absolutely beautiful. I was a first timer to an aesthetic spa so I was a bit nervous. My appointment was with Jennifer the NP and she did not disappoint. She was so knowledgeable and professional with the service that was provided. I will definitely be going back. Also, after going to my appointment I found out they see patients for urgent dermatology. Now my husband goes for a dermatology related condition. They bill our insurance perfectly and we pay our $10 copay. Side note- something really cool is they have monthly specials. I was able to buy micro needling on special and bank it for later use. I was super excited to finally get lip filler as I have been wanting to do this for a long time now and had a trip and birthday coming up so I was treating myself before my up coming trips and now can't even look forward to them! I was scheduled for lip filler and the nurse stated she worked 8-5 M-F . As I work the same hours so I took time off of work lost money and we had scheduled already once and she rescheduled so she set the day and time and confirmed with me and I agreed. As I arrived to my appointment receptionist informed me I was 20 mins late(which I wasn't I was early !) and stated the nurse had to be out by 4 today and the procedure takes about an hour. I informed the receptionist No my appointment is at 330 as the nurse messaged me on the time when scheduled and tried to show her the nurse set this time and I had her message with time and date she rescheduled me too. Didn't bother to look and just asked if I want to cancel or reschedule. I told her just cancel. Will never be going back please save your time and money if wanting to get lip filler nurse is very unprofessional. read more
