I went into Allure yesterday 5/16/2021 to get my eyebrows, lip and sides of my face waxed. The woman who did it was acting like it was a race to get the hair off in record time. Not taking into account the wax is HOT, my skin is attached to my skull and when something HOT is applied to skin it can cause a burn. Well burn it did! The bottom of my cheek on the left side is burned and hurts ridiculously. I called to let them know I was burned and was offered an apology and a complimentary waxing! I went there to get my old nails taken off that i got done somewhere else and the lady who did them filed all the way down to my original nail and ended up hurting one of my fingers. Then I asked for a simple polish on my finger nails and the lady put way too many layers on them and they never ended up drying. my mom paid 25 dollars just for me to get home and take off the polish that they put on because it ended up looking so bad. this place may look nice when you first walk in but the workers could care less on how your nails end up looking. read more

Is there not a zero star rating!???!!?! Do not waist your time or money by going here! I went with my friend on our lunch break which is roughly an hour and a half. They sat us in the waiting room for 10 mins then moved us to two chairs right beside each other. Then a guy came over and moved me and I tried to explain to him that I would like for us to sit together seeing this is our time to hang out and he told me very rudely that this is where I was going to sit because he was going to do my nails and someone else was doing hers. (Like the same tools aren't in every drawer) Anyways she moves over next to me to wait for her tech to come get her. Her nail tech SNAPS his fifers at her and says "I'lol do your nails, come on" sits her all the way across the salon from me so we can't even casually talk with our screaming. Then the man doing my nails don't even glue on the tip correctly, when I asked him to fix it he said it would be fine the dip would cover it up (nope!) I had to tell him to redo it because it would make me more comfortable knowing it is done properly!!! While I'm dealing with my nail tech my friends is asking her very personal questions and giving her hard core creeper vibes. Also I had to tell my tech 3 times what color I wanted and then when he put it on it was not the same color as the chart! I ask him to go get the chart so I can show him that they are very different and he keeps telling me that it is the color I picked and I'm trying to explain to him they may have the same # but one is much pinker than the other. Also I know that the dip looks darker when you first put it on so I let him basically get done with my first hand (which was also very weird he was only doing one hand at a time) and let it dry a little and they were still way to different, and I'm sorry I'm not lying $50 for something I don't like! So anyways I have to ask him twice to just take it all off the experience has been horrible I do not want to support this business, then he goes and gets what I assume to be the manager and I tell her the same exact thing. While he is doing the acetone he's mad so he is like smashing the tin foil on my fingers and if I didn't have my glasses on it would have splashed in my eye! My friend has already left with her nails not even half way done because he's not dealing with the creepy guy who by the way didn't even take her last set completely off before trying to put on the new set. Here is the kicker maybe we just got two really bad techs and everyone else there is decent but I got up to wash my hands and the sink where you wash your hands is filthy, the walls beside it look have yellowish stains on them and the trash can is absolutely over flowing. Went in for a pedicure as I normally do. Let the guy talk me into a shellac pedicure that was to last longer than a regular pedicure. Paid $95.00 for it to last 2 weeks!! Yes 2 weeks!! The nail polish came off as one whole piece on 3 toes. I feel like it was rushed. Came here one morning a couple of months ago and was not impressed then. Slow service, frequent stops by tech, disappearance and return several minutes later. I should have known because the soak water was cold. Then nearly two hours for a pedicure! Everyone gets a second chance, so back with wife on a Sunday afternoon. Again, cold water start, and twenty minutes soaking, waiting for a tech that was only going to be a moment. I asked for a towel to dry my feet, and had to push the issue with the host. Finally, a towel and I'm out, waiting on my wife to finish. Person setting next to me still doesn't have a tech, and it is fifteen minutes after I gave up. No third chances! read more

But then i started getting this guy who worked there every time i went. He made fun of my nail shape and laughed at my hair color (red) and asked if a dye it (i don't i'm a natural ginger). My sister and I went here because we had a gift card. When we got there they had no record of our appointment. I had 3 people to do my manicure and Pedicure. We both got shellac. I had imperfections on my mani, Went back for the corrections on my thumb the next day. Fixed with no problem. Then putting shoes on I noticed that on my big toe the shellac was to thick and didn't set properly and literally oozed red paint out ....didn't start to pill back for 2wks later....by the end of week 2 I had 4nails where the shellac was pulling back and would catch on stuff. I've been a loyal customer from the very beginning. Over the last 6 months, the service has declined. I was impressed initially by the friendly service, sanitary conditions, and quality techs. I was told last week that the original owners moved. I can absolutely see the difference. I'm pleased when I find a nail tech that's professional and produce quality work. I've been frustrated lately because the nail techs that I find and like, leave! I've called and scheduled an appointment with one tech and I arrive and they attempt allow someone different to do my nails. I don't like using different people. It bothers me to have one person soaking my nails, another applying products and then maybe someone else polishing. I'm concerned about cross contamination. I went in earlier this week with an appointment scheduled during my break. Once I arrived, there are 3 other ladies scheduled for the same time and no techs available. This was my last time being frustrated. I left with no intention of returning. I went to Oscars in the same shopping center and the service was amazing. While getting a pedicure, one of the other ladies walked in and said "I'll never go back there again" It's sad that they lost a new customer. read more

Went in to get a manicure and pedicure. I've never been a big fan of having my feet and hands worked on at the same time so I went in early hoping I could get my pedicure, and then have my manicure done. Well the salon wanted them to be done together, okay... fine. Well the entire time the two nail techs were talking to each other and I felt they weren't paying attention to what they were doing. I kept getting nicked and felt so uncomfortable being pulled in different directions. When she finished my hands the acrylic was so thick and looked so sloppy. She didn't take off all the acrylic from my previous nail set and I could see the old gray in some part thru the new pink color. Some of the nails were not smooth but bumpy. For my pedicure, I had gotten the hot stone pedicure and was SO disappointed with how weak they massaged my feet and legs. I wanted to tell the tech to stop talking and pay attention to your job and make it worth the extra money I'm paying. The nail tech broke the skin on the side of my toe nail and it got infected. It had pus coming out of the area the next two days and I had to have it drained and put on antibiotics. I do not recommend this place. They did not have any of the nail instruments in sterilization bags and they do not do quality work. I will not be returning and I hope this helps someone in the future trying to find a quality salon. Stay away. read more

The man who did my pedicure was extremely rude and acted very annoyed when I asked him to file my toenail the way I wanted and he kept removing the nail polish off of my whole toe just to file it. I was so shocked that a worker, who is supposed to be polite, no matter what, said something so unmannerly to a customer..
