Fast service and kind/warm staff, but attention to detail is lacking. Every nail was a different shape and length, some square, some round, most not even level at the edges. The color sample wasn't accurate to the gel options they have. Not the worst experience, but I do regret trying this location today. I don't expect this gel to last as the manicurist touched the prepped nail surfaces with the oils on his fingers and didn't create a dry/isolated environment before applying the gel. Wouldn't recommend unless you're in a rush and aren't a detail oriented or aesthetically driven person. Vibes were a little dated, but not unusual for a small salon - no complaints there. read more

I don't get designs or tips so I can't speak to that but I do get shellac and regular manis/pedis and they've all been excellent. I'm helped the minute I walk in, the salon is quiet and spacious and each staff member who has worked on my nails does a great job. I'm picky and (politely) ask for adjustments if needed and they've always had a great attitude while working attentively. read more

I had a women who did my mani and a women who did my pedi- my pedi came out amazing. The women did a fabulous job and took her time and was very kind. One of the best nail salons in Austin by far. I have never waited more than five minutes, the nail techs are kind and have an eye for shape and color! I can't recommend this place enough. It is very clean and does not have that horrible nail salon smell. All of the employees wore masks (appropriately over nose and mouth) and their tools were sterilized. I have done manis and pedis there multiple times and have loved all of the techs, but Nancy is my favorite; she makes great recommendations for nail shape and color based on your hands and skin tone! I even opted for gel because it was the only polish available in the color I wanted. But I MADE SURE to ask if it was transparent and they assured me it wouldn't be with enough coats. I went in to get acrylic nails for my birthday as I was going on vacation and I didn't want to worry about them breaking. I asked for acrylic and they put on a tip that I have never gotten before, they didn't even use nail glue, instead a cheap tiny UV light and gel. I asked if I could not get that as I've been getting my nails done for over 12 years. However, they insisted that their way was better. So I let it go, not only that but the person I had messed up several times on the designs because she spoke not a lick of English. However, at that point I did not care much other than it took a lot longer than it could have. However, they started lifting and popped off within three days of getting them done. It was a nightmare. Wreaked havoc on my schedule for the Fourth of July, my birthday, and my vacation. Absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable for what I paid. I've never experienced anything like this before in my life. Do yourself a favor and avoid at all costs!!! Worst decision I've made in a minute and that's saying something! Please do not go here! read more

I was visiting from out of town and needed to have Ombré gel powder removed from my nails, have nails cut down and had a Pink and White gel powder manicure done. I was a walk in and even though the salon was busy, the staff was very friendly and were able to work me in. Everyone there made me feel very comfortable and kept apologizing for my very short wait. As a walk in, I expected I would have to wait. They offered me a cold beverage of my choice while I waited. Tony was my technician. He listened carefully as I explained what I needed done and how thin my nails are already due to my thyroid issues. He explained how he would proceed and reassured me that he would be especially careful. Tony did an excellent job at removing my existing gel powder finish. With great skill and attention to every detail, Tony gave me a beautiful Pink and White manicure. He was very friendly and made me feel welcomed. The salon was very clean and had no harsh chemical odors. I used their restroom and it too was very clean and free of any odors. While having my nails attended to I was given a pillow to put behind my back for added comfort. I would definitely go back to see Tony in the future for a manicure when I am back in town. read more

If you value your nail integrity, this is not the place. I went in with my 13 year old niece and they asked us what type of mani we wanted and I told them twice "polish". They went to immediately seat us but I told them we still hadn't selected our polish colors yet, and they yelled at us from the back of the room, insisting that we sit immediately while they were holding and shaking their gel/powder baskets at us. I told them no less than FIVE TIMES that we didn't want gel or dip - we wanted POLISH. When they finally started on my mani she removed my old polish and before I knew it was using the drill on my natural nails. I would understand using the drill on someone coming in with or wanting acrylics, shellac or dip powder nails - but a drill shouldn't be used on a natural nail for a person coming in with and leaving with a polish manicure. I mean WTF. I was speechless and by the third nail I had pulled my hand back and she knew what she'd done and switched to a manual file. The mani itself wasn't even great - uneven edges and polish touching skin. I had to ask her to re-do three of my nails - I've been getting regular mani/pedis every two weeks for years and I've never asked that of anyone at my regular salon. Meanwhile, weeks later and I'm still waiting for the drill indentations on three of my nails to grow out. My tech wore her Covid mask under her nose and coughed and sneezed multiple times to boot. Isn't that the whole point of a service provider wearing a mask during a pandemic? That wasn't really the situation that I was wanting to expose my niece to that afternoon. Save your money and go somewhere client-focused and skilled. So disappointing. read more

I have been getting my nails done for many many years and this was absolutely the worst experience. I went in for a basic manicure and pedicure. I don't think the technician was trained. She couldn't even cut my toenails straight. When I pointed out that one of my toenails was cut at a 45 degree angle, she sighed and then proceeded to cut all of the nails again, leaving them at different lengths with varying degrees of rough edges. I didn't want any polish on my toenails (I give them a break from polish in the winter) so I asked for a buffing. She proceeded with a half-hearted buffing and gave up when she dropped the buffer on the floor and couldn't find it. My manicure was next and she struggled to cut and shape my fingernails. The polish was a gloppy disaster. When I pointed it out, she gave up and had another technician come over to deal with me. By then, I was so shaken that I asked the new technician to remove all the polish and just give me a clear polish. I will never visit this salon again! Yikes! read more

Garbage! I spent 60$s for garbage. I called to complain yesterday and she said she'd call me back but didn't. My nails are lumpy, uneven and peeling already! I got this done yesterday!!!! Would give 6 stars if I could! I took both my daughters here for my 4 year old's birthday. They both got mani/pedi's and we couldn't have been happier with the experience. The staff was so incredibly nice and accommodating! I just couldn't believe it. We were able to walk right in without an appointment (although, I am not sure if this is normally required at nail salons). I got my deluxe pedi today with Anna and this is the second time I come to her and I love how she takes her time and pays attention to detail. She's also great with children. My daughter always comes to her for her pedi and mani. She has lots a patience. Tammy is very experienced with SNS as well. I've been coming to her for over 2years. I definitely recommend her. I am so picky when it comes to my acrylic nails- this salon is the only salon I will go to or let touch them! I am constantly getting so many compliments on my manicures every time I go in to see Tony. All of my friends ask me where I go to get them done and I have set person after person to Allure Nails & Spa and now it's their main nail place as well! I love how friendly and welcoming everyone is in this salon, it's like a little family and I always look forward to going in. The gel nail and powder selection is very large here. I was most irritated by the fact that I was spending over 100$ and I had to sit there with my back leaned to the side the entire time I was getting a pedicure. I went to this nail salon today needing a pedicure badly. I work on my feet all Day and haven't had time for one in a long time. I added a picture of my foot afterward. Still dry skin (the reason I went). Disappointing, she did the pummel stone about 30 seconds and didn't even hit the dry skin at all. I saw another person review if you're new they don't care too much for you and it's definitely true. They without a doubt treat regulars so much better. The woman was nice but just not worth the 30$ at all. I hate posting reviews but I don't want someone to go in and be disappointed with your dry feet like me! read more

I went in last week wanting acrylics with stars painted on. Tony hooked it up. He not only did acrylic, but he also did shellac so that my designs last longer. He also added glitter to look more like the night sky, which (as a creative spirit), I didn't even think of. He was so careful painting on the stars to my nails. He also painted the moon at my request. He made sure that it was awesome from beginning to end. I've only been here once before just for a basic acrylic manicure, and it was great. Though that manicurist kind of looked like my uncle. lol I recommend Tony. He really hooked me up and then some.
