The nail technicians do a great job, however, I do not feel that my mother and I were treated well by the business owners. The first instance was after we had been there at least 3 times. I mentioned to them that other nail salons offer a punch card and maybe they could do the same. Only then did they mention that they also had a punch card. We were given a punch card at that time, and even though they recognized us as repeat customer the did not 'back punch' our cards. The second instance occurred last week. My mother only wanted her toe nails painted, so she selected the least expensive pedicure at $30. When she went to pay the bill, they charged her $35 and wouldn't even discuss it further. So, they may have been paid the extra $5, but they lost two repeat customers which would have equated to more money and continued referrals. read more

Time 4 plus sales tax and 2 eye brows at $10 each is not $215! No offer to compensate, just promises to change the menu for next time. What next time? She was always "totally booked." I finally was able to contact Amy directly. She left Allure Nails because they were not allowing her customers to work with her. My husband I came to your establishment looking for a couple's Valentine's Day mani-pedi based on the Yelp reviews. But after our experience, we quickly realized it was a mistake. We went in on Valentine's Day around 2pm. We didn't mind the wait seeing as how there were only 3 technicians on duty. We waited for about 30 minutes for our turn, which was fine. Once it was our turn, the technicians started to work on our pedicures simultaneous and the technicians started to engage us in conversation. My technician began asking questions and kept asking over and over again "Is your wife coming? Is your wife coming?" I kept trying to avoid responding seeing as how I was there with my same-sex husband. She kept asking about "my wife" over and over until we told them that I was here with my husband (who was in the chair next to me). From there, both technicians became very quiet and everything just went downhill from there. Our technicians became very quiet, very reserved, and to the point of being rude. The entire pedicure experience was so tense you could cut the tension in the room with a knife. My technician just kept slapping my feet or my leg when she wanted to work from one foot to another with no expression on her cold stone face. The entire pedicure was felt rushed, brutish, and borderline insulting. We didn't want to cause a scene so we went along with it. When I asked my technician if she could please trim my nails a little shorter she refused. To be honest, we couldn't wait for it to be over so we could leave. This experience really left a bad impression on us in regards to your establishment. We came to your business for a Valentine's Day couples experience and instead we get such a frozen reception your staff could have been singing "Let It Go". Here's a tip, your staff might need some sensitivity training. When a gay couple comes into your business, they deserve the same respect as anyone else who walks in through the door and they deserve be and feel welcomed. One of the owners worked on my feet and didn't hurt me at all. He was very gentle, thank goodness! The gel nails I got has stayed on even after swimming in a pool! I really love this place! Did a good job on my nails. Only thing is it took 90 minutes where my usual nail place takes one hour from beginning to finish.

I made an appointment for 11:30 and wasn't taken until 12. This lady at first started wrapping my fingers in foil with cotton and acetone.....even though I told her I had acrylic and was getting a fill. For those who don't know, acetone removes acrylic. The guy who did my nails did a great job, but kept making fun of me for having small nail beds. I have naturally very skinny fingers so of course my nail beds are going to also be skinny and small. If it was a one time comment that's one thing, but he kept saying it and said "they look like my baby's nails" thanks sir. Have been looking for a CLEAN nail salon . First time there was very impressed. But after that things kinda went down hill. Which was very disappointing . When you find a good nail tech you like to stay with them . Last few times they seem to double book, I don't mind waiting for a few but a half hour and my daughter at one time waited 45 minutes past her appointment. But the most important part of my review ! Had appointment today 9:30, ask her to please not double book. Waited 15 minutes . Was there at 9:25 . Then while having pedicure I glanced down at the sterilized bag that they take their instruments out of ( noticing) that the bag ( instruments ) did not actually come out of a sterile bag. There are markings on the bags that will show if in fact the bags ( instruments ) have been run through the process of being sterilized. After already being half way through my pedicure needless to say I was furious ! When I did question the young man the talking in circles began. First they sterilze then package the instruments ? Really? And then he started to get a little attitude , and asked well how do I know . And I explained I work in the medical field where I package instruments everyday for my job. WELL that was the end of our conversation . ( Per him) He was very quiet. This made me very mad and sad all in one. Because I thought I finally found a legit place with nice people!
