Originally when I went in, I was just going to get a regular manicure, nothing special. I had wanted acrylics, but since it was a small group of us and we did not go to the place I went for acrylics previously, I was just going to have them painted. They tried to upsell me on the gel dip, which I declined and said I was going to just go get acrylics later in the month. They said they had time to do them then. I agreed. I went with a plain color as I was to be in a wedding the next day. For the shape, I requested oval. Three times she asked if the shape was round enough and I said no. Finally I just gave up. Not a single nail is even remotely oval. And the application was so thick and came out uneven. They didn't clean my cuticles or prep my nail bed in any way other than quickly running their nail file drill over it for one pass. During the application, it burned my nails. She ended up spraying my nails with alcohol to get it to stop. I really feel that for the price of the nails, I should have gotten a better quality. The woman who worked on my nails was very nice and friendly the entire time. I just wasn't happy with the finished product. I did also get a gel pedicure and that was fine. read more

I won't come here again. The lady with glasses took 2 hours to do a full set and I could tell the whole time she did not know what she was doing. I then proceeded to get charged 70$, no design or anything, plain blue nails, but they were 70$ because of the length? And none of them are the same length!!! I only came here because My nail salon is closed for holiday. I can tell that some of the people here are good but not the one with glasses. read more

To say I'm upset is an understatement. Paid for the upgraded pedicure with extended leg massage, and there was no leg massage. It was 30 mins and the fastest pedi ever. My HANDS look worse than when I went in. The guy was clearly frustrated with me, because I used 2 images to show what I wanted (to make sure I was clear) between him answering the phone, cashing people out (then working on my hands which is unsanitary), and being angry with me I literally sat there and was trying not to cry. I said probably 10 times I wanted glitter foil/flakes and pink and white ombre with glitter. With TWO pics showing this...my colors look like I smoke, they're a disgusting yellow and white color, not pink and white, and no glitter in the ombre. He said oh that was supposed to go underneath. Yes, that's why i said it so many times.I ended up settling for cheetah print, and as the pic shows...he kind of just gave up. Not ONCE did he dust my hands off or wipe away the glue. My hands are in SO much pain. He was angry and kept pulling on my fingers after i told him i had a tissue disorder and apologized that my fingers dont bend like others. I'm hoping that in good faith, some of my money can be returned to me and that the owner reaches out. Especially since I had to go buy Neosporin for my cut after. Spending even more money. read more

I wanted to find a new nail salon. My sister moved here from another state and went to this salon. She strongly suggested that I make a visit with Lily. I was more than happy with the beautiful job that she did with my nails! I've received so many compliments and I love the way they look! My nails are thin yet strong. Lily was quick and still paid attention to the details. I am very particular! I will definitely be going back to Magic Nails. The shop was clean and they had a ton of great mail colors.
