    Seriously Rachele was just the best. I was planning my wedding and felt very overwhelmed by choosing the design and details but Rachele to the rescue. We had her for the design and month of coordinating. Best money spent in so glad I didn't do it all myself. My friends were commenting on how calm I was the day of my wedding . That's how it is supposed to be! No stress so I just relaxed and took in all the hard work. During the planning phases I saw Rachele's many talents she was designer, project manager and occasionally talked me off the ledge when I started to feel overwhelmed . So lucky to have had her . I wish I had more occasions to throw big parties so I can hire her again

    Brittany was absolutely amazing! She was super helpful leading up to our big day, and was an absolute lifesaver the day of - I can't imagine having done it without her!     Aubrey~ I am writing this letter/review to express my gratitude to you for our wonderful wedding. When I volunteered to write you a letter of recommendation, it took me a moment (actually a few weeks) to decide if it was possible to express how wonderful our day was in a few words, all because of you and your amazing team. I thought to myself, how could I sum up the perfection, beauty, and organization you brought to our wedding day in one letter? So I will try my best! You entered our wedding planning with a presence that fit perfectly, the moment I met with you I knew I was in good hands. You gracefully helped us with every aspect and more throughout the days to come. You made sure all the little things were perfect and all the perfect things were wonderful. We used the word perfect quite often throughout the process as it even became a running joke by the wedding day, but that's what it was PERFECT! Each step you and your wedding team took on our wedding day really left an impression. My own father, who was not so keen on the idea of a wedding planner in the beginning was so "Wowed" by you he even mentioned you in the opening speech at dinner. We were very fortunate to have the "most perfect" wedding day. It would not have been the same without you. You were not only exactly what we wanted in a wedding planner; assisting us in finding all of the most perfect vendors, getting us the best deals around and working with our budget you also became a life long friend. The many texts/email, excel documents, glasses of wine (or a dirty martini), and picture messages were so fun and helpful! Thank you again for being a part of our wedding day. We already have you booked for our next big event, a gender revel party! I highly recommend Aubrey and her phenomenal team for any wedding. She is so gifted and puts her whole heart into making everything PERFECT!

The month prior to the party, we met at the site and walked the space to get a visual of where everything was going and all extra details. The day of the grad party, Erika and her assist, Suzy, arrived on time and ready to set up. We had ordered: entrance signage and balloons out front of the venue, five balloon bunches as table toppers, a large gold ring w/ balloons and a cream lounge chair, I even ordered tablecloths for the dining tables from Erika. The balloon gold ring back drop (for the photo ops) was SO adorable, everyone loved it. The table balloon bunches were perfect on the dining tables and the ribbons too, on the bunches were beautiful, many strings of ribbon and bows. It was beyond perfection and made the room so adorable. Erika and Suzy also came back after the party was over and gathered their items and helped tear down the balloons, which I really appreciated. The two ladies go above and beyond. If you are planning a party and are even thinking of decor ideas, reach out to Erika.

I had to find another business. I do not recommend this business.

She made sure all my vendors were ready to go, and was always very responsive to my emails, calls, or texts. But the day of, was where she really shined. She was on-top of her game making sure everything ran perfectly, checking in with me when things were running behind schedule, and remembering the smallest details. Not only is she very good at her job, but her bubbly personality made me feel happy and at ease. Since I am a perfectionist who did a lot of the pre-wedding planning, this is saying a lot! I felt comfortable letting go and enjoying the moment, knowing that Teresa had it handled. Many of my guests that work in the industry also commented on what a great job Teresa did. She arrived exactly on time, set up in like 2 minutes and literally worked her tail off for 1 1/2. We had way more kids than we were expecting and she made these awesome detailed balloons for every kid and even managed to do face masks for 15 kids in like 40 minutes. I sent contact information via the website and ultimately had a conversation with Carolyn on 10/14/2024 for a 11/22/2024 event. She confirmed space, time and availability and confirmed the date. At no point did she mention any other needed communication, including a contract or deposit to pay. I thought this was odd, but she assured me all would be fine. It is now the day of and I spoke with her this morning to confirm everything. She said she would send me an invoice, told me what time I could be there and even asked if our artist would be willing to host these events regularly. An hour later I get professionally crafted email (which she has NEVER spoken to me in this way) telling that since I failed to get this event approved or send in a contract or pay beforehand AND because she is double-booked, my event is summarily CANCELLED. I have promoted this event, collected payment and to cancel with less than FIVE HOURS to go is not just unprofessional but is close to criminal. Carolyn refused to answer my calls, her staff hung up on me and all she did was send me an email stating she has to be "fair and consistent". Fair to whom?? Stay FAR AWAY from either of these businesses as they are NOT well run!

Hundreds of legislators and staffers pour in for 4 hours to experience the sights and comfort of the beauty industry environment that Do an Event creates for us each year. Each year Kevin brings a unique twist and look to the tent on the steps...always intimate, fun, and fashion forward. The name of our event is "Welcome to Our World" better known in the beauty industry as the 'WOW' event. Aside from the wonderful stylists, estheticians and nail technicians that serve our guests, the staff of Do an Event is an integral part of why WOW becomes even more WOW every year. Every detail of our event is anticipated and handled with grace and ease. Kevin makes my job easy. In my opinion, having a wedding planner was a necessity and one I would advise other brides to have, even if it means scaling back on other costs for your wedding reception. For me personally, having a wedding planner was the difference between me just being able to "pull off" my reception and me being able to enjoy it. To save some money, I hired KWE for month of/day of coordination rather than full event planning (though they were available from the get-go for contract help, referrals and all-around advice). The month before my event, Kate swooped in and took care of all the details: designing the layout of the venue, coordinating with the vendors, etc. The week before, day before and the day of she took care of everything! She picked up supplies, was on hand to greet and coordinate with other vendors, did setup and cleanup, delivered items to my house after the reception, helped keep the party on track and so much more! I am not sure if there were any snafus (though I am sure there were, how couldn't there have been?) because if there were, she took care of them on the spot. She even jumped into action when I spilled red wine on my gown early in the evening. I really, really, really cannot emphasize enough how wonderful it was to have Kate and her team on board. I strongly advise you to consider hiring her for your event.
