He said he could look at it right away. We brought it in (a little tight getting our pickup in the back alley where he unloaded but doable). He fixed the latch and the door would finally close, but it wouldn't turn on. He confirmed it was the switch that tells the washer to start, so he ordered it and was back as soon as he got the part and fixed the problem.
