After 4 service calls a couple of years ago by Sears technicians we were continuing to have an ice maker that did not make ice. We gave up and went to ice cube trays until a friend recommended I reach out to Brennan Wildermuth, owner of Lee's Appliance. He came 4 times - identified that the sensor wasn't working, ordered one and back to replace it, still no ice so back again to check on lines and when we still didn't have ice ordered a new ice maker (not refurbished which was all Sears would do) and came back to install it. We have been using Lee's Appliance Service for 13 years. Mike is one of the most honest, qualified repairmen I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Today he came out to look at a washer that didn't seem to be spinning out all of the water, leaving the clothes heavy at end of the cycle. We suspected a clogged filter in the machine itself. Unfortunately, it wasn't easy to get to and he had to take the whole machine apart instead of just the front panel, like some machines. Unfortunately, the filter wasn't clogged and he suspected maybe a sensor issue. This was one of the few times he wasn't able to fix the appliance and referred me to Fred's (where I purchased it). I fully expected to pay him a service fee for coming to my house and spending so much time trying to figure out the problem. He refused saying " If I can't fix it, I'm not going to charge for it." Who does that anymore?! To the one lady that trashed this sweet man in her review, I have one question... It took you months to figure out something wasn't right after repair?! A lot can happen in that time, probably at no fault of his, including buckles tearing up the rubber seal. Having dealt with him for 13 years and knowing his integrity, I don't blame him if he wasn't willing to accept responsibility after months had passed. read more

I'm very grateful to Lee's Appliance Service! Mike has been the greatest! We've had an issue with our freezer not staying cold enough recently--very frustrating! Mike has been so helpful and friendly over the phone. He's spent time with me, asking questions and giving me ideas of what to check for and do myself, trying to save me money! He's been very generous with his time for me and not wanting to "make a buck", but just trying to help me over the phone do a few little things myself that might fix it. I've also learned some things from him about my fridge, like where some of the parts are and what they're called! This man is very honest and I'm so glad I found him online. I called the office. A nice gentleman had answered the phone & asked if I could schedule an appointment for someone to come look at my fridge. He asked what the issue was. I told him how the freezer would door would open up (on our side by side fridge) when the fridge door was closed. He asked if the freezer door closes by itself, when opened (they are supposed to) & if the fridge door had a lot of weight on the door (it did) and that he said the fridge would just need to be tilted back a bit, at a 45 degree angle, by adjusting the legs. I am so impressed by his excellent customer service & kindness that he has earned our business, for life. Mike was awesome! I called him, he walked me through some basic troubleshooting first to make sure my dryer was really broken. After confirming that it must be the heating element I gave him the model number of my dryer (from the 70's) he had the part in stock, and had it installed all in the same day! I could not ask for better service from Lee's Appliance. We have been calling on Mike for 8 years now whenever we have appliance problems. When our washing machine was giving us problems Mike told us that it would be cheaper to purchase a new one then by parts and service for our exiting machine. We appreciate his honesty and not wasting our time. When I called him with a dishwasher issue he told me to look in an area of my dishwasher where I found a spoon blocking the water output. No charge. He fixed my gas stove and charged us a fair price and we have had no more issues. Heating element on dryer fixed the same day it went out. Great service, fair pricing, and always courteous, never leaving a mess. read more

On the day of service, my repairman made two calls to update me on time of arrival. Once he arrived, he was very friendly. He had only one part in his hands, along with his tools. He quickly opened the washing machine and it was exactly as he anticipated. He was so knowledgeable, he accurately knew the exact part that was broken based on my description. He completed the service call within about 15-20 minutes. The cost of repair seemed very reasonable. I would gladly do business with Lee's Appliance Repair in the future. I hope that others will too. Worst experience ever! We called him for a clogged washing machine pump. My washer is a solid one-piece front, so the whole door and boot have to come off. He removed those, cleaned the pump, and put it all back together. However, he didn't fully put the boot on over the teeth. This gave us months of holes in our clothes that we blamed the dog for! Once we realized we contacted him and he denies any fault. No one else worked on the machine, it is new. Shoddy work and no responsibility. So, unless you can check him work, hire at your own risk. His repair cost us hundreds of dollars in ruined clothing. read more
