What a charming little place!!! We were headed to #Starbucks but decided to #SupportLocal and I'm so glad we did!! This place is darling. The service was fantastic and the coffee was amazing! I mean it was truly delicious. I'm not a coffee fan, I just drink it when I'm feeling sluggish. This one force myself ...this was quite tasty. Not bitter. Perfectly balanced with zero aftertaste. I think I could enjoy this as a treat. We also had the best Avocado Toast. A fresh and tasty take on the usual recipe. Scrumptious. We also tried the Empanada (Beef) and it was delicious. There were so many other dishes that we wanted to try. Will definitely be back.

I came here as a weekly coffee pickup treat, after I heard they re-opened under another name but apparently not under new management. (or did they?) The people appeared to be the same but not the name. The last time I came, when it was Bridgeport, they did NOT have decaf coffee, except Americano, and now Nothing is decaf there, according to the clerk. I guess I should get herb tea if I have to avoid caffeine, or go elsewhere. I ordered a medium drip coffee and Tevana English Breakfast, $7! The medium drip coffee starts at $4! Even Starbucks doesn't go that steep, and the coffee was just ok. I realize these are Hyde Park prices. I added what looked like donut holes/munchkins, 3 for $1.50. They were ok, rather dense in the middle. I should have asked when they were made. What prompted the 2 star review was a sanitary issue: I saw some chocolate cake samples on a plate and wanted to try one. Like a dope I forgot my hand sanitizer. I asked if they had any around, the clerk replied that they DO NOT HAVE HAND SANITIZER, but there was a bathroom. I passed on the samples. The place was empty, but still, I did not want to chance it. It's bad enough coffee places had to close due to COVID, but just about EVERY place has hand sanitizer! It's practically a work expense write-off at this point, right? I may go back with a plan to sit inside and chill with tea or a pastry, but only if someone else is paying, or if I remember my hand sanitizer.

Nice spot for coffee or lunch/snack. This is not a "latte art" kind of place but it is a "stuff your face with empanadas" kind of place!

If I had their amazing skills, I would get rid of the avocado toast and muffins and offer entirely authentic Latin flavor offering.

Cute setup, little tables, and that Paris mural on the wall. It totally gives that authentic Parisian feel. Staff was really helpful too, super welcoming. I got the hot chocolate and a Swiss chocolate croissant. The hot chocolate was smooth and really flavorful. Made with steamed milk, so it had that creamy texture right away. Not too sweet, more on the rich side, with a slight bitterness that balanced it out nicely. The croissant though... that was the highlight. Super flaky, layers just falling apart as you bite into it. Light and crispy on the outside, soft inside. The chocolate in the center was slightly melted and it balanced perfectly with the buttery pastry. Every bite had that mix of crunch and softness. Honestly, it took me back to my fall trip to Paris a bit. Just one of those simple, really good moments. I'd definitely come back.

The little name and title enticed me to make it a thing on some type of routine basis but...the first time that I visited ( although I've returned several times afterwards) I was received poorly. Meaning, the cashier really had a difficult time with placing pleasantries in their tone. I mean, give me patience for the $8 coffee I want. I show up here because it's decent to look at but don't give me no side eye for wanting oat milk with size 18 hips. I did feel a bit judged for my selection but!!!! The next visits I had were nice, however, what does that do for anyone? You want repeat customers? Remember to be nice the first time you meet one always. (Respectfully) The chocolate tart thing was good tho.

The food was decent. I ordered the turkey croissant sandwich initially, it was Turkey deli meat on bread, gross. I complained and received a different sandwich, they BYOB sandwich. Much better with real meat, chicken sausage. My friend ordered the chinstrap sandwich, she said it was decent pairing it with the aioli made it better. The blueberry hibiscus tea was great. I'd come here again. It's a hit or miss with the food it seams. So order what you know you'll like! They have members only area, it reminds me of soho but smaller. Nice and quiet overall. I also ordered a house brew with oat milk and honey, and a slice of mushroom & scallion quiche complimented a paprika aioli on the side. The aioli is okay, but you know that I'm a "Spice" girl, so hot sauce will dress this beauty for me. The crust is really flaky and buttery. This is a true gem for all kinds of souls! We got the pancakes, which come with a citrus butter and fresh berries. The pancakes were some of the best I've had, and the butter added a refreshing orange flavor that paired really well with them. The salmon sandwich was also great. The bread they make in house is delicious. Eggs in Purgatory, steak and eggs, and the American breakfast were also ordered. The tomatoes in the Eggs in Purgatory tasted very fresh. The steak was great, though a little salty, but the meal was very flavorful overall. And those potatoes?!! So good. The venue also has an art gallery, which was a nice surprise and a great way to walk around and enjoy some art while visiting. Overall, a great experience with good food, atmosphere, and service.

Set in an old warehouse that is now an art gallery event space and restaurant nestled in an older warehouse district in Bridgeport neighborhood of Chicago. Beautiful decor and laid out perfectly. The natural wood floors furniture ie tables chairs etc and iron work throughout sets the ambiance for old meets new. It works. The wide spacing between tables makes for a comfortable dining experience. So many folks come in to do their work and dine here. What a super addition to the neighborhood that less than a decade ago was essentially a street that was more a run down semi-truck alley. Great menu with neighborhood favorites leaning toward the old school Italian dishes. Sandwiches, soups, salads, and breakfasts just to name a few are all excellent. The pastries are insane and a must take home deal. I love the American Breakfast. Three eggs your way, thick diced America potatoes, thick cut bacon, and sourdough toast. Accompanied by what I believe to be home made jelly and for sure homemade gardiniera. Caruso's gardiniera actually. Diced into a relish unlike most standard gardiniera it's easier to eat with many dishes. Excellent flavor and just the right kick to it. FYI Dolce Arte also sells a to go line of homemade Caruso products from their gardiniera to past and past sauces and more. Yes, their coffee is really good too. Lavazza products I believe. The service is always on point. Casual but on point. Very friendly staff from diverse backgrounds. This is the place you bring people close to you, business lunches, meetings, formal ir informal, or like me, save it for myself as my own getaway spot. It's an artists dream and sets a positive time for any gathering.
