Warning‼ Almighty THIEF! Hired Almighty Movers, LLC over a month before my elderly mother needed to move out of her apartment. The estimate was higher than what Justin originally quoted, mostly good reviews (some 1-star reviews he claimed were fake) on Yelp & Google, & I neglected to check the BBB; Better Business Bureau. He explained the price increase was due to"more packing involved than originally planned" - I presume he hadn't noticed upon first glance (I had sent photos previously & explained in detail what we'd need help with). He said he would "adjust the price accordingly", especially if more packing was taken care of, &/or some "materials were already there". He even offered an extra pick-up at my mother's local storage to move items from there. I purchased 20 medium size boxes, a few large & small ones, packing materials, & boxed, gave away lots of items. True to his word, Justin lowered the price, & told me the price would go down the more was done prior to his arrival & to keep sending updates and photos. Three mornings before my mother's move, lots more items had been packed, furniture picked up, but the price remained the same. I texted to ask if it would still go down, especially after more furniture was taken (that I knew people were coming for), & I had gotten more packing done. I let him know (again) all the things that would still need to be packed, providing photos & details, as before - all along the way as requested. I had sent more updates, & Almighty Movers were scheduled to arrive in 3 days. We had phone calls all throughout. The price however didn't change from prior updates. In fact, there was no response. A local mover (not available on our move out date), & an acquaintance of my mother's in town remarked that I was paying a premium for the move, & to make sure I wouldn't be charged extra on the day of the move. So I asked Justin what the quoted price included & whether there would be any additional costs, such as for supplies or packing still needed. I also asked if there was anything I should provide to make the move easier for Justin & his team. (I had already bought food & snacks to feed them.) No response. The day before our move (3 days before my mother had to be out of her apartment), Justin texted that "...the main cost" were for travel costs, & that "only a small amount of packing & supplies" would "be included". To my surprised that included 10 medium size boxes, which I'd already told him more than once that I had plenty of. I had relied on Justin's company to pack the rest of my mother's things, & his full text clearly indicated that it would not cover all of it. Panicked I expressed my concern, called him (got his voicemail) & ask him to call me, so we could be on the same page. No response. I texted him my concern about this & ask if I could still cancel & get my deposit back so I could hire another mover as I needed help with the rest of the packing & had relied on his moving service to cover that. He responded saying he was "busy with another customer" & would get back to me "as soon as possible". A few hours later he said he'd refund 1/2 my deposit as he'd already purchased packing supplies & set the day aside. I understood that & counter offered $100, knowing I would now pay a premium to have another mover come out to finish what his text clearly indicated they wouldn't do. Ironically he referenced that 150 miles "were included" in the quote (which more than covered the distance. Of course I planned to cover gas & mileage.) Justin said a few hundred more would "cover the whole move", & that the $700 was "non-refundable". I pointed out that this was never mentioned, or listed on the invoice. He told me to get other movers & that he would not respond to any further communication. My mother's was now sitting next to me in tears. A friend (who'd been privy to our conversations called him since he didn't call me back). He told her he would call me back, & that he would do the move, but he lied & didnt do either. I begged him to come on texts & voicemails & do the move as we had agreed. No response. Last minute moving help is crazy expensive. I'm sure Justin knew that. Even if there was a misunderstanding, you call someone back. I begged him to come, apologizing for whatever he perceived I might have misunderstood. All messages went to voicemail, which he never returned. It's appalling to me that he could treat a customer like this when a move like this is already so stressful. I only noticed after this that he had other 1-star reviews with people having similar issues, including on BBB. The 1-star reviews he claims are "fake" are NOT. (I contacted a couple of the people.)

I called in a mild panic needing last minute help this evening. Fortunately for me, Almighty Movers was just finishing another job and they came right over to help. They were fast, professional, calm, and incredibly helpful. On top of that, the price was very reasonable. Now I know to call them first! Thank you so much, can't express how thankful I am for your help. Called last minute for my parents who had their entire home loaded in a uhaul and drove from Southern California to Medford only to have the mover we had hired not show up at the storage facility to help them unload. I don't know what they would have done without you. read more

Although we are recently established, we are by no means new to the industry. Our crew has been learning professional moving for decades. Meet the Business Owner: Justin J.

Justin A. Johnston moved to Medford, OR in 2015 from Oahu, Hawaii. His adventurous spirit brought him to the Rogue Valley on a search to integrate into a community that he could settle down in. He is Southern U.S. native who has traveled across the country countless times throughout his life. In 2016, Justin began his career in the moving industry working for another local moving company. In 2017, he partnered with his former colleague to launch a successful moving company which became a stepping stone for his current vision. In 2019, Justin launched Almighty Movers, LLC.

After speaking with one representative and getting one price, I was told to call another person and got a different price. They decided to honor the original price that I had been given and I thought that the challenges of dealing with this company would end there. If only! When talking to the second person, Ed, I was given a time that they could move the piano. I told Ed that I would check to see if that time worked and call him right back. I did. The time didn't work with our family friends who had been taking care of our family piano for many years. I immediately called Ed back. It went to voicemail. I left a detailed message telling him that the next day (the time that he had offered) wouldn't work and asked if they had availability the following Friday after 12:00. I never heard back. I planned to call Ed the next day to find a time that would work but before I could, a truck showed up at our family friends' home to pick up the piano! It blocked in their vehicles, causing them to be late to an important appointment. The friends couldn't reach me. It was a nightmare! As soon as I found out what was happening, I called K&D frantic to find out what was going on and where our piano was. I still haven't received a call back. Yet, today, my check was cashed for the cost of moving the piece. The men themselves who moved the piano were polite and hardworking. They seemed embarrassed for the mess that their company made of the situation. I hope that they go to work for a better outfit or that the company figures some things out. Either way, I would NEVER recommend K&D Piano Moving to anyone.

Justin was so professional and kind. His helper Dustin also had great energy. They both got straight to work and did an unbelievable amount of work in just 4 hrs! My old place has 27 stairs and though the use of an elevator was available to them they knew it would slow them down. So three boxes at a time they hustled all of my home down those stairs, not once did their positive attitudes wane. I can not say enough great things about Almight Movers. They came all the way from Medford to Grant's Pass for only a small extra travel fee. Their cost is SO reasonable for the amount of work they did. I had the pleasure of having Justin and his guys help with my 5 bedroom house move from the rogue valley all the way to east Texas! from start finish these guys were absolutely amazing and took the upmost care of ALL MY stuff from furniture to boxes it was always in the right hands The team took the time to properly pad and wrap every important piece I own to ensure it would survive the trip unscathed! to say the absolute least about these guys.... simply amazing at what they do and there is no one better! I found myself in a pinch with a loaded moving truck and no available help .... I phoned Justin @ Almighty Movers, Justin was able to successfully and immediately have two outstanding movers Elysia and Chris from their team meet me had the moving truck unloaded in no time including a trip to the storage unit to unload the rest. I was the type of person that would never hire movers. I am new to Southern Oregon, so I have no one to help with the move. I started doing some research. Almost every company I called did not have time on their schedule or were just too expensive. I have had many movers in different counties and now a different state. Andrew and Marcel were the movers that came to me yesterday. They were absolutely amazing! Courteous, efficient, and professional. So many movers sneak in hidden charges whether it's having to go up to an elevator or furnitures is heavier. Cudos to Andrew and Aaron for making my move easier. These guys really impressed me with their polite manner and no-nonsense abilities to move some extremely heavy furniture into my new place upstairs. They took great care to make sure nothing was broken or scratched. They even helped me arrange the new place to be livable amidst the boxes. Overall a great job. HANDSDOWN- the most professional and most proficient moving company to work with. Trentyn and his team are efficient, punctual, and pay attention to the details.
