I've been doing a Dublin nail salon tour and I finally found my spot! I'm very picky with my nails so it's nice to have found a place that can deliver consistent results. They do a really nice French tip.

Mina is an amazing nail tech who truly takes pride in her work. She took her time to perfect the shape and made sure I was happy with the color and design, even showing me options beforehand. Everything was done carefully and with attention to detail. The atmosphere is friendly and clean, and scheduling is easy with flexibility for walk-ins. Highly recommend her!

Amy did my nails my first year and was wonderful. After she left, I started seeing Helen, the owner, and she is incredible. She's detail-oriented, takes her time, and my nails always look beautiful and last. One of my favorite touches is the hand and forearm massage at the end of the appointment. I've been getting my nails done regularly since 2017 and that level of care is rare. I wouldn't go anywhere else Highly recommend! (Don't mind my terribly awkward hand poses)

I went in for an Ombré dip manicure today. Nancy did my nails. She is very friendly, kind, and attentive. Very experienced. Shes been doing nails for over 10 years. Nancy made sure I had the right amount of sparkle and added some more for me. My nails need to be short for work and she checked in to make sure they were the shape and length I wanted. She cleaned up my cuticles at the end and gave me a hand massage. Highly recommend! Ask for Nancy.

New Year Nails -- My Nail Tech in the East Bay Tri-Valley Area With Lunar New Year approaching, I went to get my nails done . The salon I originally wanted to go to was fully booked, so I decided last minute to come to this place located in the East Bay Tri-Valley area, I've been here before -- when cat eye style became popular in California. I had mine done at this salon. Overall, the experience was very good! The shop is very clean and beautifully maintained. The nail technicians are very nice. This time, I asked my nail tech to recreate a design I found on Rednote as a reference. I told her I wanted Lunar New Year elements and the festive red color for the holiday. My nail tech, Nancy, carefully studied the reference photo I showed her, compared the nail polish colors to match the image, and very thoughtfully completed the design for me. I'm very satisfied with the final result! The salon is also quite busy. While I was getting my nails done, many customers came in one after another -- some for pedicures, some for manicures. By the time I was leaving, the pedicure stations were almost completely full. I will back again!

i went to Almond nails to see both Nancy and Helen. I recieved a cat eye manicure and it looked AMAZING both visits!! I received a lot of compliments on my nails everytime ! They do great work and are also so friendly and their shop is amazingly clean. This is my nail home now !!

I really wanted to like this place because it's cute and they did a good job initially. Within 24 hours, one of my gel nails popped off, two chipped, and three of my toes chipped with regular polish.. which literally never happens. I've been to salon salons that are not good quality, and they were all better than this in terms of lasting unfortunately. I needed these nails for a wedding and I'm very disappointed right now. read more

I've been coming here for my nails, and I can't recommend this salon enough! The entire staff is so welcoming and friendly, and the salon is always spotless and relaxing. A huge shoutout to my nail tech, Nancy! She executed my vision perfectly with the square polka dots builder gel. The good: Depending on who you get the service can be fast or very slow. Also depending upon n who you get the technician can be nice or not so nice. Had a great experience until the end when a different tech finished the process. She was cold, clinical and matter of fact WHIXH is fine if that's what you are looking for but prior to that the tech was warm and engaging. Called on a Thursday evening for a Friday afternoon appointment. Service on the phone was pleasant and easy. When I arrived on Friday, there were plenty of openings for walk-in clients and I was greeted and helped immediately. Got a simple gel manicure and regular pedicure, which were done simultaneously. Very happy with the end result - they worked efficiently but took the care and time to do a good job. Pricing was very competitive ($70 for both services total). The space is clean and quiet, and located in a shopping center with easy parking. I'll be back again the next time I need my nails done! read more

I have been going here a little over a year and have always been very happy with both the manicures and pedicures I have gotten. My nails are very thin so they suggested a special coat the helps keep my nails from breaking, I love it! I have also gotten the cat eye effect which is very cool looking. And the prices are very reasonable compared to other salons. read more

They say no problem we can get you in. My appointment is at 430- I show up to check in at 437 (granted I'm aware I'm a few minutes late because of a last minute family matter I needed to tend to- totally my fault) The check in girl says, I can't get you in anymore because we have a 9 minute late policy. I say it hasn't been 9 minutes and she says "yea it's because they won't have enough time to do your service" ..... how does she that make any sense?! You have a 9 minute late policy, I get here before the 9 minutes but then you say you still can't see more before the grace period is up. And of course there's no more availability the day. What frustrates me is when companies incorporate these policy's but then don't stick to them. Like they took a completely accommodating experience and managed to make it inconvenient. Maybe I dodged a bullet

I've been here a couple times and I appreciate how careful they are. However I feel like they are a bit over priced and the employees tend to have conversations while they are doing your nails. It ruins the atmosphere for me. I recently came in and wanted to remove my acrylic nails but the lady insisted on having them cut down instead. I informed her numerous times how I needed them removed because of work. I could tell she was kind of annoyed..rude! The lady who removed them was so sweet and took her time filing my nails. i came here because it was close to work.if you are reading this review and youre debating whether or not to come here,then don't.i went in for just a basic mani,because i was in a rush to get gel mani.i had already told the lady i was about to start work in 30 mins,but she kept getting up while doing my nails,rushing me and tried to keep pushing service. I have gone here for years! All of a sudden the last few times i went the prices were raised...A LOT! I had my real nails done with acrylic NO TIPS and I was charged a full set....i thought that was kinda strange. When clients are paying the premium (AND TIPPING) for a service there should be a certain level of professionalism. I understand things happen but still can't help being irritated and feeling like my time was wasted.

The two Gel manicures my partner received came out beautifully, so if you're not on a time crunch and that is all you are looking for, you will walk out happy. My first visit was a fill, as the integrity of my previous Gel-X was maintained, and overall both the fill, shaping, and nail are were satisfactory. I needed a new set on this visit, and things went downhill quickly. I pointed out that numerous nails were too narrow, and it was shrugged off (some builder gel was placed on the sides, but nothing further.) He then tried to push acrylic on me, and laughed when I expressed that acrylic does not work for me, and I had not previously had issues with Gel-X over nearly two years. I would have walked out if I had the option. As a result, not a single pair of fingers is consistent (as pictured,) the "stiletto" tips are not centered, the shaping is horribly unflattering on my hands, not one nail has a proper apex due to the initial application being significantly longer than the length I expressed I would want. The "cat-eye" I paid additional for is barely noticeable. At least the color itself is pretty. Back to the drawing board, as my quest for a competent apres gel-x tech in the area now continues.
