I've been coming here every two weeks for the last two years, and the service is always amazing. The salon is clean, professional, and super welcoming. Amy did my nails my first year and was wonderful. After she left, I started seeing Helen, the owner, and she is incredible. She's detail-oriented, takes her time, and my nails always look beautiful and last. One of my favorite touches is the hand and forearm massage at the end of the appointment. New Year Nails -- My Nail Tech in the East Bay Tri-Valley Area With Lunar New Year approaching, I went to get my nails done . The salon I originally wanted to go to was fully booked, so I decided last minute to come to this place located in the East Bay Tri-Valley area, I've been here before -- when cat eye style became popular in California. I had mine done at this salon. Overall, the experience was very good! The shop is very clean and beautifully maintained. The nail technicians are very nice. This time, I asked my nail tech to recreate a design I found on Rednote as a reference. I told her I wanted Lunar New Year elements and the festive red color for the holiday. My nail tech, Nancy, carefully studied the reference photo I showed her, compared the nail polish colors to match the image, and very thoughtfully completed the design for me. I'm very satisfied with the final result! The salon is also quite busy. While I was getting my nails done, many customers came in one after another -- some for pedicures, some for manicures. By the time I was leaving, the pedicure stations were almost completely full. I will back again! read more

I went in for an Ombré dip manicure today. Nancy did my nails. She is very friendly, kind, and attentive. Very experienced. Shes been doing nails for over 10 years. Nancy made sure I had the right amount of sparkle and added some more for me. My nails need to be short for work and she checked in to make sure they were the shape and length I wanted. Called on a Thursday evening for a Friday afternoon appointment. Service on the phone was pleasant and easy. When I arrived on Friday, there were plenty of openings for walk-in clients and I was greeted and helped immediately. Got a simple gel manicure and regular pedicure, which were done simultaneously. Very happy with the end result - they worked efficiently but took the care and time to do a good job. Pricing was very competitive ($70 for both services total). The space is clean and quiet, and located in a shopping center with easy parking. I'll be back again the next time I need my nails done! read more

Women of color avoid this place, they will not value you!! I'm giving a 2 star bc Hellen (the owner) is great, and I made a mistake by not asking for her and allowing someone else do my nails. The someone was Amy ( I think) she was the heavier set one. I had her the first time , noticed that she cuts too much off the cuticle. The 2nd time I got Hellen and she knows what she's doing. The last time was the same lady again and she once again cut too much and cut me to the point that I flinched and had to tell her not to cut too much. But she did with no apology. All Christmas I was in pain trying to cook the entire meal by myself . My figure beds were so swollen that I thought I had an infection due to sanitation. The swelling went down but if you get your nails done, you know when they cut too much bc not only does it hurt, but now the skin is peeling and very sensitive. I go back to tell them and get the skin cut "professional " and all they did was play in my face. "Oh that's how your skin is, just put oil on it" and "That's how it is bc you have other nails like that" She even told me she remember cutting me. I know my cuticles only peel when they cut too much, but of course no accountability. They went back and forth in their language like they always do, and literally had nothing to say to me, not even an apology once again. I ask for the owner Hellen but she's on vacation and not returning until the end of January. Very disappointed. I hope Hellen makes it right, otherwise I'll be looking for another place. Will never pay to be devalued, ever. I do tip well so that's all that should matter, not my skin color. These nail techs are so racist. I will make sure I change that problem one day. we will no longer need to fatten their pockets, but invest into us. We make them in this industry and they treat us like we're unwanted guest, what a joke! read more

Stopped by on a laid back Tuesday for a last minute pedicure and was pleasantly surprised to find this spot. There's great parking outside right in front of the nail salon. Inside, it is clean with lots of new and comfy chairs to relax in while getting services done. There was a bit of a wait since I was just a walk in but nothing too long. My pedicure was great. I observed them being very sanitary - washing hands, changing gloves, and using new kits for each person. Payment was easily done through zelle. Would definitely recommend if in the area. read more
