Made an appointment on the phone with Dustin and came in, he was speedy and clearly knows what he's doing. I included the picture of what I wanted and picked my length, he did the design super quick I'd say whole set was about an hour. It was $75 before tip. I have heard he is not timely but I personally didn't have an issue. I would definitely come again because the quality and skill is so worth it. I went to this nail shop specifically the nail technician Dustin for probably about two years. This was going back to him after giving it a second chance after a bad experience. It was fine for a while, and I can probably count on one hand how many times I had to reschedule an appointment and if I did, he had notice of it. But how many times did I get to my schedule appointment? Henna have to sit there and wait for 30 minutes or more?... But we're not talking about that. He did my nails good 85% of the time and the other 15% mediocre but I stuck by him because I didn't feel like searching for another nail tech and I figured it was just him having a bad day or tired. Anyways, the reason why I'm writing the review now is because he refused to book me because I rescheduled three times due to having a newborn baby and was not able to make it in for uncontrollable circumstances which he had a notice of. Mind you I just paid for a $65 fill the week before and my nails were cracking and popping off for no reason. I asked him to fix my nails and yes, I had to reschedule the appointment a few times, and then he refused to book me. So after two years of doing my nails, many referrals and him even pulling a no-show on me before but I didn't complain, he refuses to book me and fix my nails Lol he tells me I can go find another nail tech. No respect for time (even after appointment is confirmed), lack of professionalism, hostile staff. I do not typically leave reviews but I am so disappointed by how unprofessional this nail place is. I have visited many different nail spas but the retention and detail to the work kept me coming back to Happy Nails. While this is a positive of the salon, it is outweighed by the very disappointing customer service. I scheduled a manicure once and the nail tech forgot and showed up 45 minutes late along with having an outburst that I did not have cash (which I was never told to bring). I gave the tech a second chance and scheduled another appointment. I showed up and the person was doing nails for two other people and told me to leave in the rain storm and come back in an hour and a half despite it being the time he confirmed my appointment. Time Wasted and They Don't Even Care! I tried this place, for several months thinking I'd become a regular. The lady doing my acrylics nailed it, but getting another appointment? Forget about it! Dustin, the owner, loves walk-ins and couldn't care less about the appointments. I had a 6 PM appointment today for a fill w a specific person, but no one even looked my way when I got there. I announced my arrival to her, she looked at me and acknowledged me. I told her "I am here for my 6pm appointment with you, on time at 6 PM." She ignored me and kept working. After 20 minutes, I asked what's up. Dustin said "5 minutes," but that turned into forever while I got ignored. I checked earlier reviews, and guess what? They have a history of blowing off appointments and not caring about the customers. Time is golden and being polite doesn't cost a thing. After waiting for 30 minutes past my appointment, I said, "Guess I need to make another appointment, since you're not keeping this one." I got no response. Maybe they would've reacted if I made a scene and announced, "I'm out. You don't care about my time or me coming back!" But that's not likely. Take a look at the signs scribbled on the walls. Dustin's big "I don't take complaints" message. Funny, considering the place is called "Happy Nails" - there's nothing happy about it. I like to base my decision on their quality of service. My first time here and was thoroughly happy with my nails. I guess that's why it's called "Happy Nails". I came when it wasn't busy, but I've been here with my sister and she had to wait 20 Min for her appointment. I'm a patient person, especially on a Sunday. So waiting is no issue for me. I got a deluxe pedicure and full set acrylic (stiletto shape/regular polish)- paid $75 including tip. Usually when I get the stiletto shape I need to instruct the nail tech on how sharp I want them. I showed him the pic & he did it great the first time, plus went in to perfect the shape. I love this! My pedicure was so relaxing & the lady who did the massage did a great job. I'll be coming here from now on. The cost is pretty damn good & if you need to wait there's a Panera bread, pieology, chipotle and Starbucks near by. Came back to get a fill and new design & im in love. He kills it every time! (Shellac pink set with glitter & rhinestones) I believe I paid 48? Somewhere around there. That's a dang good price if you ask me. I'll continue coming here for my acrylics. read more

I've been visiting this salon for at least 4 years on a regular basis and Dustin and his team are amazing. I have tried at least 3 other salons in the area and have had tearful experiences. I even tried a salon in LA with substandard results. Dustin has provided me with a great quality of work (especially since I love French manicures). I don't do reviews unless I see consistent quality and this nail salon has surpassed that. I can schedule appts easily via call or text and I love the professionalism shown to me if I arrive for my appt and the previous customer is taking longer than expected. In my profession, I realize the unexpected can happen and I treat it as if I was the one with the unexpected delay. I wouldn't want my service rushed. One day I had an appt and when I arrived Dustin was busy. He soon walked over to me, looked at my nails, shared he was running late and gave me several options. DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES. I have had more than 10+ years experience with acrylic nails. I am well aware of how they should look and feel. My experience with this place before and after this ordeal will make me NEVER USE NOR RECOMMEND THEM EVER AGAIN. I came in to get a full set done on Tuesday afternoon. I walked in and asked for a full set, the lady standing at the front began speaking to a lady in the back. They where speaking in their language so I am not sure of their exact conversation. However, the lady toward the back was CLEARLY having an issue with providing a service. That should have been my first clue to leave. Once she was convinced to do my nails she started the service, as she was applying acrylic, I had to mention twice that there was a large dip in two nails that needed to be filled with acrylic before the second file Red flag number 2. She then had me hold my hands up to the light to dry the acrylic. (Acrylic doesn't need to be held up to a light. Period) Red flag number 3. The length of my nails vs the amount of acrylic used was no where near enough. There was absolutely NO APEX. A proper apex is needed to prevent a nail from breaking at the stress point (where the artificial nail is glued to the real nail) and to prevent the entire nail from being ripped off/causing trauma to the actual nail. I say that not only as a customer but as someone actively going to tech school for this exact thing! The lady who did my nails is Either SEVERELY under trained or not licensed. I only saw one license on the wall...so there is that. I came in today to share my experience. Not expecting a refund (the only take cash,imagine that) but to share my experience. The manager at first asked me " well how thick do you want them to be." Once I showed him the photo of how thick they where his tune changed to "well, BC they didnt split down the middle this isn't my fault." "I can soak them off and give you a new set." I called ahead to see if Dustin could repair one nail for me. He said yes if I can be there in 10 minutes. I showed up and there were already people waiting and he was working on someone else. He did my nails originally so I would expect that he would do the repair. I got there and had to sit for 30 minutes. Only to have somebody else come and do the repair instead. My nail looks completely different than all of my other nails aside from the color. I then told her and Dustin that it looked awful. She still charged me $10.!!!! $10 for ONE broken nail. I have battled writing this review for quite some time, and it has remained in my drafts folder since I took my toenail polish off after my visit here. The embarrassment Involved has prevented me from speaking up but here I am, a year later... They had just opened (or remodeled) and my cousin and I wandered in. The guy who gave me my pedicure was super nice, and we enjoyed our immediate experience. Almost three weeks later, I removed the nail polish to discover yellow discoloring and my nails flaking. My nails were destroyed and have still not healed fully. I have spent so much time and money on different treatments and remedies, and spent much of my summer hiding my feet, when I would normally be living in sandals. I haven't been to a nail salon since. And I miss the enjoyment of french tip manicures, and getting pedicures, but I'm terrified to step into a salon again because I have know way of knowing things are properly sterilized. Looking back I had briefly remembered a man being in the pedicure seat before me, and I don't think they cleaned the wash tub in between customers, but who knows what caused it. Grand opening special 10% off but only got $2 discount. Massage was perfunctory but nail tech really concentrated on clipping off all those dead skin cells. Nail shape also came out nice and even. Didn't complain because end product was pretty good. I tend to salon hop, trying to find better and best. Last 2 visits to try other salons were a disaster. The place seems to be family operated and always behind schedule. The floor and chairs have dust on it and I definitely reconsidered how sanitary this place could be. I asked for a design which they said was not possible. Instead they tried to draw a similar flower pattern that ended up completely different (I.e. my sample design only covered 1/3 of the nail but their design covered the whole nail). I would not recommend design work with them. The edges of the polish were not clean. Honestly could've done a better job myself. I didn't want to spend over 2.5 hrs there so I didn't bother asking to adjust. My nails never chipped though, so that's one plus. read more

So I had switched to a couple of nail salons and personally I fell in love with this one! Dustin is very open to working with my demands for new and unique ways to style my nails (even though I can be a little picky). I really do feel comfortable knowing that they are all extremely good at shaping your nail to whatever technician you get. The chairs are very comfy and the best part is they always have "Friends" on to watch! The price for a regular refill in acrylics is $30 and seems to be very a reasonable and affordable, even with such good quality technicians. Some people may complain that they don't get to the phone in time and I'm there every two weeks for a refill and I just have to stay it's only because they have so many beloved customers, they struggle to meet ends with all the people calling in because they are just that great. read more
